If we could have gotten one Christmas episode of Charmed...

I had written out a whole explanation for this poll and the different options and then lost all the changes I made...

Basically each of these episodes aired in November/December before the break, so I figured these would've/could've been the season's Christmas episode. If so, I included which characters could be in these episodes based on the episode itself as well as main/recurring/guest stars of the season.

Obviously the plots for these episodes would be different if they'd been a Christmas episode, so it's more about choosing which season/episode you'd have enjoyed as a Christmas episode based on the vibes of each season and the characters that might have been in them that I listed below the cut.

“Come onnnn,” Phoebe teased, elbows propped up against the kitchen island, “you only get to turn sixteen once, don’t you wanna do something fun?”

“Your idea of fun and the rest of the world’s idea of fun is not always the same thing, Pheebs,” the birthday girl teased, turning down a burner on her sautéed onions. “Besides,” Piper added, “I think this is fun.”

“It could be more fun!” Phoebe cooed.

“Oh no, what is she suggesting now?” Prue asked, strutting into the kitchen with a perfectly wrapped box.

“Okay, what’s with the tone of voice?” Phoebe asked, immediately prickling up. “And, hey, I thought we said no presents!”

“Well, we knew you weren’t going to get her a present-” Prue quipped.

“What’s that supposed to mean!”

“It means you’re 13, Phoebe, calm down,” Piper said.

“-but I’ve been saving up some money from my shifts at the cafe and I wanted to a present for my favorite middle sister,” Prue said, giving Piper a kiss on her hair.

“Well I got you a card!” Phoebe insisted. Her sisters looked at her, not saying anything, but kind of saying everything. “I haven’t picked it up yet, but I’m going to get one.”

Prue smirked. “As long as it isn’t stolen.”

“Hey!”

“Prue,” Piper chided.

“What?” Prue asked, feigning innocence as she picked at the cheese Piper had already sliced during her mise en place. “It’s a valid concern.”

Phoebe pouted at her, an over the top, almost sarcastic look.

“I don’t need a card, really,” Piper insisted. “Or any presents. I just want a night together, as a family, where we can all be together and, you know, hang out.”

“Well I never need an excuse to enjoy your cooking,” Phoebe said, offering her sister a big smile.

Headlights shone through the windowpane.

“Ooh!” Prue said, looking through the glass. “Grams is home! And I’m seeing some VCRs…”

“Texas Chain Saw Massacre?” Phoebe teased, giggling at the immediate look of repulsion.

“Looks more like a Molly Ringwald marathon to me,” Prue said.

“Ooh, ooh, Piper, can you make popcorn the special way?”

“It’s her birthday,” Prue said, “she doesn’t have to-”

“I like cooking,” Piper interrupted. “Yeah, I’ll make it the special way.”

“Ooh, I love you I love you I love you!” Phoebe bounced her way over to her sister and gave her a huge birthday hug.

“I love you more,” Prue said, also wrapping her arms around Piper.

“It’s not a competition, Prue,” Phoebe said, voice still sing-songy and arms still wrapped around Piper.

“But if it was I still win by two and a half years,” Prue shot back, matching musicality in tone, arms reaching and ensnaring Phoebe, too.

There was a click as the back door opened. “Now I know my girls aren’t doing a group hug without me.”

“Grams!”

She was married four times, the most significant of which being to Allen Halliwell, with whom she had her only daughter, Patricia Halliwell. Through Patricia (Patty), Penny was the maternal grandmother of the Charmed Ones.

As a descendant of Melinda Warren, Penny inherited the power of telekinesis, and was one of the most powerful and Craft-dedicated witches of the Warren line. She was also responsible for the creation of many spells and potions in the Halliwells' Book of Shadows. She raised her granddaughters after their mother's death, and became a guardian spirit of sorts to them after her own passing, providing good advice and even the occasional direct assistance when necessary.
