A little rundown on the AU: Jason comes legally back from the dead after Roy uses some of his old contacts, they get married to ensure power of attorney, Jason changes his name to Harper both because he was feeling mushy about it and because it's easier not to immediately have press hounding them because no one has heard of Jason Harper before. Jason has been recovering from his injuries for a while now and while he is figuring out what he wants to do on a vigilante side of things, he figures out his civilian life. He gets his high school diploma, gets an actual driver's licence, things like that.

Then he wants to get a job. He starts as a regular mechanic because he knows how vehicles work. It's fine. He gets a couple of certifications. He then just. Keeps going. He gets so many mechanic certifications for different vehicles because he already knows a lot and has always been a fast learner. He eventually ends up working as an aviation mechanic for a private hangar and he gets a very good reputation with their clients because no matter what type of plane they have, he knows what's up. He also knows what's up with their cars. Their bikes. Their boats. Their helicopters? One of the clients is an army veteran. Jason knows all the stats on all of the combat vehicles the guy ever mentions.

Jason's boss and coworkers have seen all the certificates. They are all framed on the walls. They all think that Jason very clearly has either autism or adhd or both and hyperfixates on vehicles. They are all extremely supportive of his needs and will listen to him talk about books because one of them read that it's important to support their interests. They keep calling him Sheldon and making The Big Bang Theory references. Jason has no idea what they are talking about.

shes like a transformer 2 me..... 🥹💖 when shes human moding she has more realistic proportions, her innards compact and her outer plates squeeze together like a puzzle<3 and when shes Freaking It they separate and her body/etc can extend giving her the classic unnaturally lanky look...😳

her joints can also rotate in Multiple directions, she can do that freaky bending limbs backwards n whatever shit its GROSS girl get Out of Here 🙈...

i wanted to give more of a nod to her shapeshifter thing w her base design even if its not like anything super crazy lol. that said tho i didnt actively consider this while drawing her but i wouldnt be surprised if she could also rearrange her limbs n stuff too.... like to better inhabit different forms.............. 😨 ... i do think her weird agony r whatever cloaking powers still do most of the cosmetic disguising stuff though,,

they fall in love pretty quickly with all those late night conversations and chess and stuff, which leads to erik giving charles the claiming bite somewhere during the recruitment trip. which is way too soon by social standards but they just felt such a deep connection with each other that it made them think would never part.

charles only realizes how reckless that was after cuba, when someone sees the mark and asks 'you really allowed the guy that you've known for a couple of weeks bite you???'

Hhhh sorcerer Rui getting a sword tat on his body and the ability to pull weapons out really reminds me of this cool lesbian anime called Revolutionary girl Utena. And now I'm like... imagining Knight Tsukasa either storing his sword in Rui or he just pulls out Rui's weapon and Rui is somehow totally okay with that... weirdo...

i've been recommended utena a lot!! i'll prob watch it eventually..

if there's ever an arc where tsukasa is exiled for whatever reason, rui would tooootally teach him how to take the sword out. he would definitely be into that..

Evil Peregrine

This week I saw some fanarts of Miss P covered in blood, the thought "what if she was evil" came to mind and so I made my own version of it.

I think the cruelest possible version of her would be one that accepted Caul's proposal and joined him in the 1908 experiment. You can already imagine the rest of the story.

What moves this woman? Greed. Like her brothers, her thirst for power was what motivated her to join the Claywings.

Yknow I know that Horatio probably wasn’t able to show much facial expressions cause he was literally wearing someone else’s face, but I think even without it he doesn’t really know how to properly smile or frown or whatever yet. He still needs to relearn all that. And emotions as well. What we have of him in TDoDA I think is still very much a wight in an earlier stage, like socially-speaking at least.

Everything else-speaking he did pretty good already. Bro even lost an arm and only passed out from it. What a champ

@jjackrabbitt and I think he sometimes mimics people’s expressions, just for practice. And he probably does it unintentionally, so he’s not exactly aware of it
