Rambling about Pause Garden part 1

I wanted to ramble later once I drew everything but the urge is too strong so

What is Pause Garden ? A project I created when I was 16, a big story involving ocs from my previous works !

I think I already showed most of those specific characters, but there are waaay more in the story, I maybe said some infos here and there

Tbh I struggle to actually say more without questions, because idk what people want to know actually so I blurt everything out without much context and hope for the best

In a place somewhere in the dream realm, outside of space and time, exist a little coffee shop called "Pause Garden"

A place where worlds collides and coexist, where doors lead to other stories and universes, always more and more.

That's where one can meet several of my ocs that I've been showing from time to time...

The barmaid/waitress is K'haty Opaline, an aberration living in this space, always ready to welcome new customers and serve you a drink before you can even order.

Kali is the over-energetic demon who comes by after her missions to tchat with the regulars, perhaps to look for more work ! You may make a contract with her for anything from assasination to protection, or for a custom painting if she's in a good mood.

Hamelinn is an other regular, she'll be here more often than others, when she's not causing chaos back in her own world. Sassy demon kid, she's often seen chilling with the animals inhabiting the Pause Garden, or trying to befriend other demons that come by.

Snow-Snow comes only on weekends, and when she does, she'll be with her brothers or Hamelinn. Pretty sweet creatures, hard to imagine she's a dangerous demon much like the others.

Shiva is, like the others, a regular of the shop. The dragon comes most often with her kids, Aelia and Kelly, to let them play in a place she knows is safe. A smart mage, elegant and refined, she'll make it known she's noble, but she's not above swearing every so often.

I really wanna ramble about them again so have some characters fun facts I guess

1) The Pause Garden was conceptualised as a video game, and each character in it are kinda part of their own little story

Some of their og stories have names !

For a butterfly's wings - Ethlynn

Worldwrecker - Kali

Voices of the forest - Goupil

Upside down side stories - Hamelinn, Snow-Snow, Halloween + EM gang (I gotta draw those kiddos again)

2) K'haty, Orichalque, Trem, Gea, are all part of a "specie" native of the Pause Garden. They are called aberrations

3) Ethlynn, Violett, Sanaë, Merin, Halloween, Hamelinn, Snow-Snow, and the EM gang are all from the same world. Shiva and Goupil are from an other world entirely, and Kali and Silkia are from yet an other world. The only way for those characters to meet is by going to the Pause Garden ( except Ethlynn, Kali and Sanaë who can travel to other dimensions and thus visit eachother's world)

I don't remember if I posted it here but a while ago I made a whole ass page about my ocs and I've been thinking about it again

I still love doing wh content but I see everyone kinda moving on and I do wish I could talk about my ocs again so

Imma show the oc pages I made, they have their names included and hopefully some of those will get people curious enough to ask about it so I can ramble away 👉👈
