okay i get what you're trying to say but the arab conquest of the levant happened in the seventh century ce
#palestinian was not an ethnic identity until very recently (and even then it's arguably not one or it's a subgroup but anyway)#it was a purely geographic term until like...the late 19th century with the rise of nationalism around the globe#don't harrass op for this btw like. they're not wrong but it's kind of annoying and misleading to act like palestinian has always been#an ethnic identity that could be applied to ancient people#and it's straight up disingenuous to imply that ancient jews in the levant were arabs bc. they weren't??#arabs were in arabia in the first century#sasha speaks#obligatory disclaimer: if you're weird or rude on this post i block you#'don't oversimplify the history and identities of SWANA people' and yet we take for granted the idea#that arabs were always present across SWANA and not themselves a major empire/colonizing force in the middle ages#okay Anyway i'm going to class now bye.
