I think I may actually flip my shit if the Montréal Canadiens win the Stanley Cup

and my annoyance would not be directed at the players or the fans of the Canadiens, but more so at its upper management and Marc Bergevin’s boneheaded decision to trade P. K. Puck Night!

Man, it’s been a long time since I’ve written one of these. I think this is the firs one I’ve made this season. Ugh I’m really slacking. Damn 8-5 to job.

Anyways! Welcome habs fans! Another Saturday night! Another habs game! This time the habs take on there “Original Six” rivals: The Detort Red Wings!

The Canadiens and the Red Wings are finishing off a home-n-home series. The first game back in Detroit saw the habs exploded with the best offensive display this season, a 6-3 win over the Red Wings is a solid outing for the habs. 

 GP: Game played W: Wins L: Loses OTL: Overtime Loses P: Points

Montreal Canadiens

GP: 27 W: 12 L: 12 OTL: 3 Record in last 10: 5-3-2

The Montreal Canadiens have had a bit of a rough start to the season. With much mediocre play for most if not all of the month of October and some of November. The habs were far away from being the team, that habs fans have seen being pervious season with hot and strong starts. Carey Price was not playing his best hockey, and the team in front of him was much worst than that.

The result is arguably the worst start or at least close to the worst start in franchise history. Even worse, was losing Price to another lower-body injury for several games. Resulting in the games using rookie third-string goalie Charlie Lindgren for a stretch of games. And Lindgren was magnificent. Through eight games of play Lindgren was able keep the habs season from completely sinking.

He also was relived of duties, and sent back down to the AHL, when the habs acquired the Antti Niemi from waivers. The former cup champion, had been bounced from two other teams this season.

The habs have been able to pull together a four-game win streak. On the back of a Carey Price Return. Price since returning from Injury has been electric. Winning all four of his starts, with impressive numbers.

And the habs forwards and Defense have responded in a positive way. Pulling together scrappy wins and dominate wins.

The Habs look to keep the good time rolling, an continuing the season high four came win streak, with a victory over the Red Wings.

Jonathan Drouin is still Day-to-Day

Artturi Lehkonen is still out indefinitely with a lower body injury

AL Montoya is also out indefinitely with a concussion.

GP: 26 W: 10 L: 11 OTL: 5 Record in the last 10: 2-4-4

The Red Wings had a pretty decent record to start their season, in their new home the Little Caesars Arena. However, after the hot start the Red wing would go on a rough six game losing skid that would see them only earn a single point for a overtime lose.

The Red Wings have been having a hard time with getting out of long losing skids this season.  They are currently on the longest losing streak of the season going into this game against the Canadiens, (Six games) where they have only been able to earn three points.

The Red Wings look to break the losing streak of the season. And gain some momentum similar to the start of the season.

Tyler knows he looks like the kind of douchebag who listens to rap or, like, ska bands from the early 2000s, but he actually has a secret affinity for happy pop songs and, unabashedly, Blink-182 and Fall Out Boy stuff. The music a lot of people pretend to have grown out of or be too cool for.

Tyler thinks Jamie looks like the kind of guy who loves songs about trucks, but mainly because he thinks he's built like one.

Roman figured it all out by the third full moon. Shea Weber, he-man and terrifying d-man was also a full-fledged werewolf. Proof-- there's no point in proof when you're dealing with cryptids and besides, Shea disappearing as soon as something went off on his phone and bottling himself up in his hotel room was pretty close. The app Roman got was only three minutes behind in announcing the moonrise.The only question was what did werewolves need during that. Erm. Moon time? Any campfire tale Roman picked up as a kid involved sex monsters in mountains who *ate* your face afterwards so. Wolves liked meat, right? Maybe if Shea had a little t-bone to gnaw on he wouldn't gnaw on Roman's face and generally be ok with him petting him. Not that wolves should be confused with dogs. Or with werewolves. Fair to say that Roman swiped the hotel key card with a little nervousness, both for keeping his face on and for not letting the overpriced steak he ordered from room service drop onto the luridly-patterned carpet, his nerves almost getting the better of him before he opened the door--And came face to face with a honest-to-god dire wolf that still had Shea's dark eyes, glaring at him from his nap. Roman lifts up his plate nervously, "Ah, um. Does the transformation make you hungry?"Wolf-Shea jumps up from the bed, onto the floor, and sniffs at the steak before he gulps it down in one bite. Shea licks his chops, and tilts his furry head sideways, like he expects Roman to *talk*. Roman scrubs his hands on his sweatpants, says, "Sorry, I didn't want to be annoying but I guess the whole werewolf thing was a little hard to miss."Shea rolls his eyes and headbutts Roman's hand until Roman gets the fucking message and *pets* him. The pleased little whimper Shea makes when Roman scratches hard right behind his ear is something Roman will take to his grave. Somehow Roman stomps on the urge to coo "who's a good boy?" and lets Shea insist on being petted.Maybe there was something to Shea's moon time being a little lonely. Not a lot of places have a wolf-allowed policy, and the fact that he's twice as big as his dogs would make a lot of people pause. Roman sits down next to Shea on the floor and keeps stroking him, right between his shoulders, until Shea rests his enormous head on Roman's lap and closes his eyes.Asleep like this, Shea looks cute. Like a very big husky who got lost. Roman could almost die at how much he wants to take pictures and post it on instagram but he's sure Shea would eat his face for that if not for petting him. Ah. Roman can live with it. He's doing a good thing. Maybe Shea'll smile at him in the morning.Some things are just between defense partners, right?
