First of all, if you wanted to tell me how that conflict actually happened, you needed to attach screenshots. Because listening to your version of those events, and even with an emotional coloring, is absolutely pointless.

Secondly, Purokoii did NOT THREATEN, but helped restore access to Yonyon's account and supported her in that situation, after which she left the fandom and deleted her account. If YOU didn't know. Lima who is still in conflict with Yonyon, is not related to Purokoii in any way. And she is not a popular or mainstream author who makes content for the fanbase. I wouldn't be surprised if this person has nothing to do with our fanbase at all, but simply uses (WITHOUT THE PERMISSION of the AUTHORS, I DARE REMIND YOU) otp pictures to mock Yonyon.

Thirdly. Are you now indirectly trying to shame me for the actions of a stranger? You think I shouldn't make content based on my favorite ship because some person quarreled two fanbases? Or is it because YonYon decided to delete all her work, is it my fault too? I should feel guilty for the actions of a person I don't know? Are you serious now? Should I be ashamed of did you hide your account, realizing that you need to be responsible for your statements?

Maybe I should still be ashamed that I breathe the same air as you? What kind of absurdity are we going to get to?

Fourth. Was there more Cacaolily content before the conflict? Are you kidding me? You can type into the tag search what's on Twitter, what's here, what's in ao3 – there have always been few authors who have developed the fanbase. What's before the conflict, what's after. Literally count on your fingers. The fanbase has never been very popular in the fandom. Purelily has always had more content (AND THIS IS NOT BAD, I OBJECTIVELY UNDERSTAND WHY THIS IS SO AND I THINK THIS IS NORMAL), when Cacaolily was drawn most often by regular authors in the fanbase, and rarely when new ones appeared there.

Fifth. I have already written TWO POSTS on this subject, which are publicly available. If you are interested in my point of view, you can find it on my blog and read it. Because my opinion has NOT CHANGED at ALL since writing that post.

Sixth. Since most likely you will not read my post about the conflict, because you did not come here to talk about the conflict, but to throw out your next toxic attack of aggression on me, because I do not want to apologize to you. Therefore, I will repeat myself. In any fanbase, there are asshole fans who, by their behavior, spoil the attitude towards the entire fanbase. They cannot be forced to stop doing this, they cannot be shamed or called to conscience, all that helps is to ignore them and warn newcomers in the fan base in advance not to communicate with them. Most of the fans of ANY FANBASE are ordinary people who enjoy creativity and they don't care what happens behind someone else's fence.

And so amazing coincidences under which you asked this question as soon as I made a reblog of gen-fanart, which features Cacao and Lily (because, I'm artist Cacaolily, and in your opinion I have no right to enjoy any other content, including content where all the ancients are friends and not in a relationship. After all, how dare I enjoy someone else's work and repost it? Is that why you decided to recall the old quarrels again, in which I did not even participate?).

And you don't get tired of remembering the story of a year ago. Weren't those quarrels and negativity against each other enough for you? Do you want to continue to quarrel between two fanbases so that there are no artists left who make art/fic for fans?

I hope this is the last time I will hear such comments for the first time and for the last time I will chew the obvious things.

Hanamiya: his idea of a date is literally have dinner at home and then read with his legs on Kiyoshi's lap. He simply hate being around people.

What are their thoughts on having children?

Roy and Keeley are firmly opposed.

Roy loves Phoebe more than anything in the world and feels like she fulfills the part of him that would ever want to be a parent and doesn’t see any reason to add anyone else to that category.

Keeley simply has no interest. Never has. Never will. Just not something she wants for herself.

Jamie is the most ambivalent of the three. He loves kids and can see a life for himself in which he’s very happy as a parent. But it isn’t something he feels he needs, and he’s also perfectly happy being the fun uncle to Pheobe and all the Richmond himbos’ kids.

How do they feel about PDA?

In an ideal world, they’d all be very pro. They love eachother and they’re not ashamed of it. Alas, it is not an ideal world and all three have too many bad experiences with paparazzi to engage in much public PDA.

But in semi private settings? Say, team holiday parties? They’re not over the top, but they’re like magnets. Jamie and Keeley might flit away to socialize and chat, but they’re both drawn back to Roy, and they like to touch. Nothing too major, but knees knocking together here and a hand on the back there.

And they show their affection in other ways. Keeley makes sure Roy gets off his knee when it gets later into the night. Roy wordlessly hands Jamie a plate of his favorite snacks from the buffet table. And Jamie gallantly offers his jacket when Keeley gets cold.

YUGO MY SWEET BOY YUGO

For anyone who hasn't been around a long time, Yugo used to be my Number One brainrot boy. I still love him dearly and get all giddy and squeaky over him, the fixation is just not turned up to the max anymore.

Why I like them/why I don’t I just love how.... easygoing he is? He takes being flown across dimensions by himself like he took a wrong turn somewhere. He's a smart boi who built a D-Wheel from scratch with his best friend as a pre-teen. He's introduced by crashing into a street lamp after another dimension jump and just Keeps Showing Up here and there, never knowing what's going on but always ready to throw hands or make friends. It's so funny. He's wears his heart on his sleeve and cries like he has nothing to be ashamed of. Yugo's just a joy to watch.

And despite being usually relegated to comedic relief, he's actually one of the strongest duelists in the show. Second ever time we see him he OTK's three Obelisk Force soldiers at once. And that contrast is v appealing to me.

What I like about their appearance His eyes.

Yugo has Such pretty eyes. Anyone who's read my Yugo-centric fanfiction knows I cannot keep myself from mentioning them. I love that his main colour is white! You don't see that very often for characters of his type. And his blue bang is v appealing, and I love taking snapshots when it moves. He's so expressive as well!

Also he's cute. You can't tell me he's not.

Do I prefer their dub names or original names? He got to keep his name, thankfully.... Not that he was safe from weird spellings regardless who's Hugo. don't know him

OTP Dimensionshipping! I think it's very fun, and great to build AU's around. Inside it I like all yuboy pairs with Yugo except for Pawn, which I'm lukewarm on. It's just not my thing.

NOTP Don't have one. If a fic for a Yugo ship I haven't thought of or isn't invested in seems well-written and appealing to me, then I'll read it.

Favourite card they use Clear Wing Synchro Dragon. One of my favourite yugioh dragons ever. I adore the crystalline wings, the long tail in place of legs, and the colour scheme is so appealing. It's also so pretty in the anime.

Favourite moment they were in I can't choose help-

Okay so, I do have one I can highlight, that I don't think many would pick. But it's all of episode 54, which shows what happened to Yuzu and Yugo after they were teleported away at the Maiami championship. I think this episode is a good showcase of the Full Yugo Personality Package. All that's missing is a scene where he cries.

We see him being concerned but not very thoughtful, hotheaded when he gets seriously annoyed over Yuzu getting his name wrong. He's willing to talk and answer any questions Yuzu has if he can, and even takes mistaking Yuto for Yuri rather easily. He's a bit too eager when he gets an idea in his head, and when Yuzu breaks down in tears, he's quickly apologetic for being pushy. Doesn't tell her to stop crying, just gives her a handkerchief to wipe her tears, aplogizes and that it was his fault, and just... talks to her.

And he's so gentle?? He tells her about Rin, and it's so obvious that he loves his best friend so much. And Yuzu quickly calms down. He's just a very sweet, caring guy who can get too passionate sometimes. It's big "too good for this world" energy with Yugo, with 'this world' being the synchro dimension. It makes you wonder how bad his interactions with the Resistance in the Xyz dimension must have been for Yugo to be hostile enough to be labelled their enemy and even get a nickname among them, even if it's from people misunderstanding his name.

But then when the situation turns bad and they're discovered by Tops in an area they're not allowed in, he's immediately locked in and focused on Getting The Hell Out Of There with Yuzu. He knows when to get serious, and he doesn't mess around when it comes to the law enforcment of his world.

Least favourite moment Don't think I will ever forgive Arc V for destroying Yugo and Rin's D-Wheel. And for having Rin be the cause of it.

Of course, I love a good age-gap lesbian pairing. Then she likes the friends to lovers trope. We had conversations over the course of about two years. (Probably every time I see a picture of Geraldine James and I just fall in love all over again.) Most of it is about Geraldine's new projects, and of course a little bit of our personal lives, too. She said she's been reading Marilla/Muriel fanfics lately and honestly, that's a win to my OTP.

I just found out earlier that she wrote for the Marilla/Rachel tag so I'm excited to read her works. (When I had the time— I'm fueled enough to write right now, so I want to ride on it when I can.)

... Nothing, I just really loved the fact that she's kind and soooo lovely. And she's not ashamed of being an 'older' fan of something. And she's not condescending to me despite me being younger than her daughter. (I've had unpleasant experiences from older members of a different fandom before.)

Hello! This is about up to Episode 6 of Yellowjackets, and ONLY episode 6 of Yellowjackets. I have not seen beyond the sixth episode, at all, and know NOTHING about this show. Please do not spoil it for me.  Things that are spoilery in nature, for me, include: saying things like  “Just wait!!” confirming or denying anything I put forward, outside information about the cast interviews or creator statements, leading questions like “Do you think “blank moment” means anything?” etc. Remember  that Y’ALL HAVE SEEN THE SHOW AND I HAVE NOT. There are two wolves inside you, and they are both Taissa. The bad lady and the wolf…are Taissa. I feel good about this theory though this is just a theory. Taissa IS in fact a different woman from the women her wife married. There’s a Taissa that wants to take care of her family, and help her community, and there’s a Taissa that wants to simply win and hunt and kill. So for us all, but of course NARRATIVELY, I think it’s on the level. 

She is still the leader of this operation, and Nat and Shauna would have not idea what to do without looking to her. 

I sense deeply I should be getting into this Taissa and Van thing, and I’m not opposed to it by any stretch of the imagination, but it’s not all that interesting to me. We’re being set up, I think, to have something happen to Van, and to use that to set something off in Taissa. That’s about my level of engagement with it, and I’m fine with that. Seeing Taissa lose her fucking mind is the real OTP here, so I’m satisfied. 

But that doesn’t make their whole naked dunk completely disinteresting to me au contrary, I love when Taissa says, in response to Van saying she always wins: “Why do you think I like to play?” That’s it. That’s Taissa. She isn’t here to do anything but win, and THAT is why she could not give up the race even though she has become the wolf hunting her family down and the evil lurking outside Sammy’s window, and I think on some level she must know that. I don’t know if I think she’d engage with it for even five goddamn seconds, but I think if she really thought about it, she would know that.  And yet. She can’t stop. 

It’s also interesting to me in that..she does not seem interested in continuing things with Van afterward. In response to the idea that everyone will find out anyhow, Taissa says, paraphrased, ‘lol not if I run’. And don’t get me wrong, it’s easy to sit here in the year of y’all’s lord 2023 and tell Taissa to come out, when, in the 90s it was a real, actual problem in the US that had actual repercussions socially and financially, and I am not gonna let anyone sit here and call her a coward or ashamed when I’ve seen y’all unable to call your representatives out of anxiety. I’m not saying ‘you gotta give Taissa all the points.” I left home to accomplish my life. I’m saying, “Everything in life is a fucking decision, and you have to decide what costr is worth it, and what is too high. We all have priorities.” 

But onto the actual plan, to answer some questions brought up in my asks: Is it better from a non-narrative situation (Love the phrasing on this, will bring it up in a second) for the group to try and hike it out or hold on where they are? And the answer is: Yes. 

What needs to be done in this situation is to have, and this should have been done about a month ago, a small group of the strongest and most wilderness-canny people follow water down until they find something, and they ALMOST CERTAINLY will find something. Even the most remote areas, if you follow a creek down, it will very likely reach a river, which will very likely reach a road, which will very likely reach a settlement. (By the way, Tai, this is much smarter than merely heading “South.” You can go south in the rockies a long time without hitting anything. You could walk nearly all the way through Montana.) If this were my family, me and Mike would head out--I know how to survive well in the wilderness, and I hike very fast, Mike can generally keep up with me, and Jill needs to stay and take care of those who can’t follow. But yes, I think this is the logical, terrifying thing to do in this situation. 

Now, back to narratively. There’s no way Taissa is leaving. I have no idea what the mechanism of her being trapped there will be. Maybe it’s the aforementioned ‘something almost certainly is going to happen to Van.’ But she’s not going anywhere. 

Speaking of going places: I think Simone should leave Taissa. But Doc, you love Taissa. I love Taissa narratively, of course, and I find myself every single episode uncomfortably identifying with her (In which way can YOU not possibly cope with the weight of situations? Tag yourself!) but, she’s not a good wife. She’s not a good mother. She is sacrificing everything at the altar of her need to win and to conquer, and in doing this, she proves to herself over and over that if she FAILED in the woods, it must have been because it was impossible to win, not ANY weakness in her. She is on the hunt, and because of that, she has blinders on, and she can’t see all the things she’s leaving behind. 

Kind of on that note, and on Simone saying, “You know for someone who’s been through some shit--” all of us, every single one, has a tendency to universalize our experience, and this filters down in a million different ways. It’s why you see people armchair diagnosing historical figures and characters and etc with disorders and genders and sexualities, it’s why people struggle to understand complex and varying viewpoints, it is something so so difficult to guard against in our normal lives. And, coming from someone like Taissa, it can be extremely difficult to come through adversity, figure it out, at least on paper, and see someone else crumbling underneath it. I am Taissa going, “For fuck’s sake” about the idea that my, nine year old, I think, raised in a huge house ina  wealthy neighborhood, has it that fucking hard.Now, this is the one way of universalizing one’s experience that gets constantly criticized, but ask yourself in truth--are you not also guilty of this? I feel like this is an insane thing for Simone to say, because to me, having come through it makes you know how possible it is. I do not think this is my, or Taissa’s most perfect trait, but it is a very human one. 

Come to the end of Taissa BITING HERSELF. Yes. What else could you do with that?

12. the unpopular character that you actually like and why more people should like them

Ripley.

Like. If we're going for the villain pick, Ripley. I don't think you should think she's a good person - she's not - or that she's nice a woobie or something. She's fucking awful! But she's also awful in a really human, engaging way and I find her so fun to poke. I think a lot of people kind of forget the pure banality of evil, the way these people can have really simple, dull motivations - Ripley wants power and knowledge and she doesn't care how she gets it. Everyone is just a tool or a stepping stone in the goal of that.

And she's canonically a foil to Percy, so that makes her REALLY USEFUL in analysing him - and him in analysing her! - so for all of those people who like a bit of dark!Percy like... Ripley! She is right there!

And she's such a bitch. She refuses to swear despite being someone who tortures people, she's clever enough to replicate guns from second and third hand reports, she's always looking to her own advantage - and she's just. Awful! She's exactly the kind of person who looked at the structural inequality of the Dwendalian Empire and decided to do the amoral shit others got away with because of wealth and when she got arrested for it assumed it was purely because of class differences and not because she's just the Worst.

And the thing is these days there's so much moralising! Oh the villain must be woobified, oh they never did anything wrong at all ever (MCU Loki, Kylo Ren, even the Betrayer Gods in CR!) and frankly fuck that.

Ripley did do shit wrong and that's why I find her engaging. She wilfully tortured people despite it being useless for information gathering! She made guns and spread them around purely to fuck with Percy! She's an awful human being and sometimes it's really fun to look at that in the distance. Over there. Way over there. Down the barrel of a sniper rifle.

If we're doing non-villain, minor-character fic... it's Desmond, it's fucking Desmond, I know he's not really "Unpopular" so much as "ignored" but I don't care! I will fight you all on this hill, that Desmond Otham is so revealing as to Percy's own perception of his own guilt and failure to his family ("I want you to spend the rest of your life making up for the things you allowed to happen" says Percy and WHAT THINGS Percival! This lad is a carriageboy! He's about the same age you were when the massacre happened! What the fuck do you expect him to blame himself for!? Now you blaming yourself on the other hand...)

Plus I just think he's neat! I think he's a great example of someone with a lasting consequence from Percy's reckless actions - one of those people Percy mentions who may not see them as heroes for reasons that are completely justified. And if he is the courier or returns to Whitestone and takes up another job - he's got that reminder the rest of his life. Even away from Vox Machina, he has his maimed hand.

I think he's really cool, fuck everyone who disagrees.

N/A, I think? There's nothing I like that I'm mad, ashamed or horrified over that I can think of. I like the things I like and I know why I do so I've largely resolved any conflicts I'd have of that kind. I've definitely figured some things out writing fic that kinda annoy me (i.e. I can write smut pretty easily when there's trauma and mental fuckery involved but not like... on it's own) but that's fanfic more than dealing with fandom as a whole or the canon itself.

Again, I think N/A? I don't generally ship things, not to like... shipwar, this is my OTP or else kind of deal. I think that kind of thing is actually really unhealthy and often hoping for that ship can cause people to disconnect from the canon itself in order to back up their warped reading of the text, plus it just sets people up for disappointment! I'm a big believer in creating ships purely for the "I guess this could be neat!" kind of thing, and I don't generally get into it more than that.

Perc'ahlia is the exception, but that wasn't unwilling. They gave me too many fantastic squishy feelings and thinky thoughts, I didn't even hesitate.

In the letter of the question, neither of them. It's sort of a thing that they never say it. It's like a... why try to label or make this be anything? Just accept it for what it is.

In the spirit of the question, more likely Theo, because he tends to bottle things up and then pop. It could be either of them in the right circumstances, though, because Draco's very good at dramatic pronouncements.

2. What would they do if the other woke in a manic state after a nightmare?

They typically don't sleep together, specifically because of Draco's nightmares. He gets ashamed of them and doesn't want to be seen, and he needs a second to process the line between dreams and reality. When he freaks out especially much, Theo's there to calm him down and see if he needs a sedative.

If Theo freaks out from a bad dream, Draco's there for reassurance and cuddles.

3. Do they wear the other’s clothes? (sweatshirt, bandana, necklace, etc.)

Not normally. Draco's complete image is far too curated to be adding random trinkets to it. And he's too paranoid about staying in the token closet to hand out favours.

4. Which one is more protective? Who needs to be ‘protected’?

Draco is both physically and mentally more fragile. He's also more magically skilled, but he doesn't trust himself and is less likely to handle himself well in a stressful situation, depending on what the situation is.

Theo is hella protective. I have a mental image of him actually getting between Draco and Lucius when Draco's having a bad mental health day -- which is both somewhat physically but extremely socially dangerous, since he sort of depends on the parents' tolerance of him to stay at the Manor with Draco.

5. Describe their cozy night in.

A bottle of wine, a stack of reference books, and an idea for a new magical item they are trying to create. They have a lot of fun working together like that. There's about a 50% chance it devolves into some sort of debate or deep dive into some subject like doing astrological natal charts, and they accomplish nothing, but their debates have a good chance of inspiring Draco to write a paper, so that's still time spent productively.

Yes, there is a greater chance their cozy night in devolves into drunken academia than into sexy times.

I couldn't rly pin one down. Obviously in canon, there's nothing 'official' given the nature of the game, but I do enjoy Seb/Alex and Sam/Seb. In roleplay, the ship I have had for years and thus is the most developed is mine with @xheartpages 's Mako. Especially in Sebastian's Legend of Korra verse. Those two are soulmates and are very dear to me.

That isn't to put any of my other ships down. It's just the one with the most established development. I'd say the next one down from that is Seb/Alex with @fckurselfie . Alex has been chasing that boy for literal rl years, he's a long-distance runner. Someone give him a trophy.

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?

I'm not big on age gaps. They just don't interest me. I'd prefer sub 10 years, at the most. The one I'm beginning with @allnostalgic 's Kisa has a seven year gap and I'd say that's around the maximum. Goes without saying, but I will not ship with any muses below 18 as well (Seb is 23).

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY ARE CONSIDERED NSFT?

I'd say when we shift from PG-13 to R rated writing. When things start getting explicit and it's clear what direction the thread is going. I'm happy to write smut and don't feel a need to shy away from it, but I do tag it at the very least. If anyone wanted me to do read-mores, I'd oblige.

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?

Yes, very much so. I put a lot of myself into my ships. If I don't sense chemistry, I won't bite. I invest a lot of time and energy into them. I'm used to long-haul development. I become very enthused and will annoy my partner incessantly with things that remind me of them or ideas to share. I prefer a partner who's on that same wavelength, with whom I feel chemistry between muses and compatible writing styles. I must be compatible with my writing partner, as well.

So, yes, I am discerning. Which may be ironic writing a muse from a farm dating sim, but oh well, lol. If anything, that probably makes me a little more guarded. It's easy to worry I'm being approached right off the bat to be shipped with when I barely know the muse or the writer because of the nature of Seb's game.

He might be freely available in the game, but that is not the case here.

Roy. Absolutely Roy. Especially to Jamie. And he doesn’t mean it as emotional manipulation. But the person who has sudden realizations by yelling “fuck!” absolutely does this to Jamie. Waaaaay ahead of schedule for the l-word. Luckily for him, Jamie is both forgiving and loves him back.

Who would give their life for the other without a second thought?

All of them. That’s what you do for people you love, right? And all of them love hard and love well. Luckily this never really comes up, but also I 100% believe that both Roy and Keeley don’t hesitate to put their bodies between Jamie and his father if they ever witness an argument. In fact, Roy and Keeley jockey for who gets in front first and stays in front.

Does either of them have a secret that could potentially ruin their relationship?

I don’t think so. Certainly nothing relationship ruining.

I do think they all default to trying to figure out a problem on their own instead of talking it out with one another, which can produce conflict. So I can see, for example, Jamie having difficulty with his father and not wanting to talk about it, because he doesn’t want to hear “I told you so” and he feels ashamed about it. So he starts acting distant and snippy, because he’s stressed, and Keeley is baffled and Roy is annoyed. But it doesn’t last long before the story comes pouring out. And (because they aren’t assholes), neither Keeley nor Roy says “I told you so.” Instead, Keeley brews a pot of tea, and Roy pulls Jamie down onto the sofa and on top of his chest (because he learned something from that evening with Georgie). And they have a long talk about sharing their difficulties with one another, and Jamie promises to talk it through with Dr. Sharon.

I want Terry to come try and crash the wedding. I think it would be unrealistic if he didn’t show up. He shows up as soon as Lip steps out for a smoke. There’s no way Terry is getting in. Then Fiona, Carl, Kevin, Debbie, V, Liam, Sandy, and Mandy step out of the door. There’s no fucking way Terry is getting in. Terry’s hammered and knows he can’t win a 7-1 fight while drunk. He backs down and makes a stupid threat as he leaves.

But Ian and Mickey never find out?
