Wanna talk about Hort and Agatha parallel, but idk hm 🤔 🤔
#lunchtime lectures#agatha of woods beyond#hort of bloodbrook#i need go back to re read the series when im not so busy#but so far in my notes: theyre both children abandon from their mothers and deemed unworthy by society#the only different is Agatha legit did believe that she is unworthy and not any value so she isolated herself#vs Hort who wants to be respected by his Peers and to be seen as cool and be value by the narrative#They both sort of got what they want...#I rag on Hort a bit too much from my early days i think he's okay now#he's funny to me#and im not a fan when ppl try to label hort as an “incel” which is just odd like yes what he did to sophie was weird#but calling him an incel is crazy to me#or try to rewrite as this “manipulative evil dude” when NOOOOO you're missing the point#he's suppose to be a LOSER even when he became popular he's still a loser at heart
