(tags by prev, @edwinspaynes) yessss. i actually didn't think about this but i agree, i think it would be interesting to see her change her surname to something other than blackthorn. but i don't think it would work if she changed it back to cartwright bc for such a long time she has considered her mother to be tatiana and only tatiana, and jesse her brother, to the point where she is no longer attached to the cartwright name. be it grace cartwright or grace blackthorn, i think both would lead back to the fact that she feels like she doesn't belong. not blackthorn enough, as tatiana never really treated her like a daughter as much as she did a marionette, not cartwright enough as it has been so much time she almost doesn't remember her bio parents. i think the best idea would be change to something else, but i guess we'll never know (and i have to admit i like ambiguity regarding this)
