The argument of "if christianity is manmade then why does it go against man's desires" is already dumb enough on it's face, but it's even dumber when you consider that most christians believe that they will be rewarded for their faith both during their life and after death. It's like the marshmallow test for kid's about delayed gratification but instead of getting 2 marshmallows for waiting until the end, you're allowed to take a nibble every now and then and sometimes you will get freebies, and then at the end you get a marshmallow factory.

#what about eternal life goes against mans desires?#and eternal peace and bliss #or having an allpowerful being on your side that helps you when times are hard #and knowing that all the good people will be rewarded #and all your enemies will get theirs #and that there really is purpose and meaning and justice in the world?#and the only thing you have to do is believe in some guy and be a good person?#who in the world could possibly say that this goes against mans desires?#its literally a wish fulfillment fantasy #sorry not sorry but its been a few days since ive been critical of religion and im annoyed by dumb stuff i see #and my girlfriend is working rn so im bored
