i lied again i have One more thing to say which is that technically there was a cheaper edition of dune at the store but it had the movie poster cover and also it was like a solid four inches thick bc theyd printed it on really narrow and short paper for some fucking reason and the type was TINY. and the only other edition they had besides that was a hardcover that they were selling for. fifty us dollars.

#.txt #which to be fair it was like a deluxe/collectors edition w illustrations an embossed cover a foreward and some new maps and stuff #but STILL. my three options were 1. the most impractical book or really stupid doorstop with an ugly garbage cover ($12)#2. worlds first single use book with admittedly pretty nice cover art with a font size legible without a magnifying glass ($18)#or 3. meganerd collector's wet dream ($50)
