#The Climber#Kurosawa Mutsumi#SPOILERS!#He had to watch his fiancée dying in front of his eyes and couldn't save her#So he built a snow tomb for her in the mountains and he lied to everyone that he cut her rope#Because he felt like he deserved being hated by everyone#I mean even if he said that she decided to cut the rope herself - who would believe him?#So he lost his job his friends everything and he lived like that for 10 years#Until the main plot started and he confessed the truth to Oonishi his former bestie#And IMMEDIATELY AFTER THAT OONISHI DIED RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIS EYES BY ACCIDENT#MAN IS SO UNLUCKY#both of them actually#The story doesn't tell us whether Kurosawa's social status dropped even lower after that#He most likely had to listen to even more cruel accusations and gossips#But he didn't break! He continues living and he even has pretty good sense of humour!#For whatever he has been going through he's very positive and extremely strong#He's not popular just because of his “villain” looks TT#anyway he's my fav#also he has Belaruthian nose! :D#he's really cool I can see why his girlfriend decided to follow him to the fucking mountains
