#oomf calls sae rin's momsister as a joke sometimes but man it's true huh

smh i can't find the actual clip anywhere i was hoping to be able to link it but to summarize

1. rin's behavior seems to go beyond baby talk and into straight-up echolalia. it is so easy to imagine him learning to mask that trait as he grows up... and as oomf pointed out so much of his vocabulary in the present day is straight-up lifted from sae so it's not like he ever really stopped, just sublimated it

2. sae parentification feels soooo plausible (at just two years older! he was a baby too!) and it is also so easy to imagine him taking rin under his wing because they're both autistic and weird in similar ways and their parents just don't Get It which would go a long way to explaining why itoshi bros drama does not factor in the parents at all and their parents are like npcs or something. the amount of codependency you'd get from that dynamic..... and it makes night snow hit so much harder.... man. closes eyes in pain

ALSO speaking of last week's ep. that additional time firmly centered itoshi bros mutual autism in my mind and ik they are just comedic non-canonical shorts but there is sooooo much to be extrapolated from that one i'll be chewing it in my mind for ages
