leaving drakengard for the night on gigantic, what they call 'grotesques' (great word), babies with lighting wings that shoot magic that fell out of the ominous, world-is-ending red sky into the ruined empire was certainly something wholly unexpected but really made me realise how lacking...automata feels comparitively. Not batshit weird and gut dropping enough. Not enough 'oh fuck' but also 'what the fuck?' moments
