You claim Spider-Man is an asset to the city, but let's not forget the countless times he's caused property damage and endangered innocent civilians in the process of his so-called "heroics." And don't get me started on the collateral damage and webs left in his wake. Do you really think the ends justify the means?

Yes, law enforcement may not always be enough to combat crime, but that doesn't give some guy in spandex the right to play judge, jury and executioner. We have a justice system in place for a reason, and it's high time Spider-Man started respecting it.

And as for your argument that Spider-Man does more good than bad? Well, I'll believe that when I see it. Until then, I'll continue to hold him accountable for the chaos he leaves behind.

So, next time you're singing Spider-Man's praises, remember the real cost of his so-called heroics.

NEW YORK CITY - Spider-Man's latest exploits have once again thrust him into the spotlight, igniting a debate over his true intentions and impact on the city. Is the web-slinger a valiant defender of justice or a dangerous menace lurking in the shadows?

"For years, I've seen Spider-Man swinging around the city, and I used to think he was doing good," said Mary Smith, resident of Queens. "But lately, it seems like he causes more trouble than he prevents. My shop was damaged in one of his fights, and I'm still trying to recover from the losses."

Critics argue that Spider-Man's vigilantism undermines the authority of law enforcement and poses a threat to public safety.
