The OnePlus Ace 3.0 Pro: Features Vision or Clever Rebrand
Tumblr media
OnePlus Ace 3 Pro
OnePlus may make an Ace 3 Pro. The OnePlus Ace 3.0 Pro may launch this summer with 16 GB RAM, 1 TB storage, a redesign, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
Since January, OnePlus released the Ace 3 and 3V. OnePlus may introduce an Ace 2 Pro replacement, according to rumours. The Ace 3V is only available in China, although OnePlus sells the Ace 3 globally as the OnePlus 12R ($529.99 on Amazon).
The Ace 3.0 Pro was rumoured to use a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. With a 1.5K display, the smartphone may be a revised flagship. The Weibo leaker ‘Smart Pikachu’ has revealed more about OnePlus’ Ace 2 Pro follow-up. OnePlus may release the Ace 3.0 Pro with 1 TB of storage and 16 GB of RAM.
The Ace 3.0 Pro features 8 GB less RAM than its predecessor’s top RAM configuration, but comparable RAM and storage. However, Android rarely needs 16 or 24 GB of RAM. The Weibo leaker also expects the Ace 3 Pro to have a redesigned design and the Sony IMX890, the Ace 3’s primary camera. However, a release date is uncertain.
OnePlus Ace 3 Pro Features The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is widely anticipated but mysterious. No official release date has been announced, but rumors and leaks suggest a flagship smartphone market leader. Explore what we know about the Ace 3 Pro and what it may offer.
Advanced Performance: Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Ace 3 Pro’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor should be its heart. The new chip should be faster and more efficient than Gen 2. Smooth multitasking, rapid app loading, and the capacity to beat the hardest games await gamers and power users.
RAM & Storage for All Needs OnePlus often offers many RAM and storage options, and the Ace 3 Pro may follow suit. Leaked models are 12GB RAM and 256GB storage and 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. The 1TB choice is powerful for media aficionados and creative workers, while this suited multitaskers and app users.
Camera System: Familiar Hardware, Improvement Potential Ace 3.0 Pro cameras may be OnePlus Ace 3 (OnePlus 12R in some places). 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 50MP Sony IMX890. Snapdragon 8 Gen 3’s processing power may improve pictures despite familiar hardware. We’ll need official details or reviews to determine the impact.
Improved Capabilities for Cameras Greater Low-Light Performance:The Sony IMX890 sensor in the rumoured camera system is already excellent, but with to developments in software processing and sensor technology, future revisions of the Ace 3 Pro may see even greater low-light performance. This could lead to less noisy, crisper, and better evening images.
Advanced Computational Photography:In order to improve image quality, OnePlus may incorporate more complex computational photography techniques. Features like AI-powered scene optimisation for particular scenarios, real-time HDR (High Dynamic Range) processing for balanced lighting, and enhanced portrait mode effects could be examples of this.
Include Telephoto Lens:Although the rumoured camera arrangement has an ultrawide sensor, a telephoto lens may be added in a later version of the Ace 3.0 Pro to improve zoom capabilities when recording distant things.
Display and Design: A Fantasy Display and design details on the Ace 3.0 Pro are scarce. OnePlus often uses a high-resolution AMOLED display with a smooth refresh rate, perhaps 120Hz or more. The sleek, modern style may resemble the OnePlus 11 series.
Innovations in Displays: Under-Display Camera Technology: At the moment, a punch-hole cutout is used for the front camera. In the future, under-display camera technologies might be included to create a fully bezel-less display that would enhance the viewing experience.
Better Refresh Rate:Future versions may raise the refresh rate to 144Hz or even 160Hz for even smoother scrolling and possibly better gaming performance, even if 120Hz is already a rather smooth refresh rate.
OnePlus Ace 3.0 Pro Unboxed Android 14 The Ace 3.0 Pro should come with Android 14. This means a new UI, new features, security upgrades, and possibly OnePlus-specific customisations.
Price and Availability Leaks say the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will cost around $500. This makes it competitive with flagships. Speculation suggests a debut in the following months.
A Rebrand or True Upgrade How much the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will differ from the OnePlus 12R (Ace 3) in various locations is unknown. If the hardware is similar, processing power and software changes may be the key differences. This might make the Ace 3 Pro a performance-focused choice in the same series.
Conclusion: Potential, but Questions Remain The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro might be a great flagship. For high-performance users, its strong processor, enough RAM and storage, and capable camera system make it appealing. The design, display, and launch date are unknown, thus there is some scepticism.
If you want a future-proof phone with excellent features, watch the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro. It may be best to wait for the formal announcement and compare it to other flagships before deciding.

Tech News Roundup: OnePlus AI, Pixel 8a Leaks, and Goodbye Google Podcasts
Tumblr media
It's been a busy week for tech news - while some news days might seem slower than others, there's always a tasty tidbit of information lurking just around the corner. With that in mind, we're recapping some of the biggest updates and announcements from the tech landscape this week - everything from smartphones, software, and more. In case you missed them, here are some notable updates this past week. OnePlus Unveils its own AI Editing Software OnePlus recently announced that it was moving forward with its plans to integrate generative AI software into its smartphones, and as such recently announced its new "AI Eraser" feature. Simply put, it's OnePlus' own take on features like Google's very own Magic Eraser, which lets users remove unwanted visual elements from the background of their photos. According to OnePlus, the AI Eraser feature will begin to arrive for OnePlus devices globally starting from April. Several phones including the OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R, OnePlus 11 and OnePlus Open will be compatible with the feature, while handsets for users in Europe will begin to receive these features later in Q2 2024. Google Bids Farewell to its Podcasts App In a move that has once again revived talks of the dreaded "Google Graveyard," the Google Podcasts App has finally been shut down. It should be noted that this has been a long time coming, with Google announcing several months back that the small user base was a key point of consideration in shutting down the podcasts app. Part of the announcement reads: "Looking forward to 2024, we’ll be increasing our investment in the podcast experience on YouTube Music... as part of this process, we’ll be discontinuing Google Podcasts. As part of this process, we’ll be helping Google Podcasts users move over to Podcasts in YouTube Music." The Pixel 8a Gets Leaked... Again Google can't seem to get things right when it comes to leaks. Time and time again, its various Pixel phones have appeared on the internet way before the intended launch date, and the same goes for the Pixel 8a. Most recently, the phone appeared in a Google Fi ad, at least according to a user which managed to save the image and share it online. The ad shows the Pixel 8a in two different colours, including a blue variant and what appears to be a white model. Upon closer inspection, it's clear that the phones in the ad aren't the Pixel 8, due to the lack of a microphone between the camera lenses, as well as the flatter camera bar. Mobvoi Updates Several TicWatch Models In a recent announcement, smart wearable brand Mobvoi stated that it will provide a new software update for several of its smartwatches, which include the TicWatch E3, TicWatch Pro 3 GPS and TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS. The updates come with version numbers RMRB.240228.002 and RMKB.240228.004, so TicWatch owners might want to keep an eye on their devices for the new update. In addition to the latest security patches, the updates also come with an option to pick a desired shortcut for the secondary function key (which somehow disappeared in a previous update), as well as a fix for problems with Bluetooth calling functionality. The Star Wars KOTOR Remake is Still Alive A few years back, it was announced that a remake of the highly-popular Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic RPG was in development, with developer Aspyr set to handle production on the game. Eventually, the task was handed over to Saber Interactive, although not much has been heard about the game's status in recent years. With that being said, Saber Interactive CEO Matthew Karch finally revealed that the KOTOR remake is still under production over at Saber Interactive, following the latter's split from Embracer Group. Karch states: "It's clear and it's obivous that we're working on this... It's been in the press numerous times. What I will say is that the game is alive and well, and we're dedicated to making sure we exceed consumer expectations." Read the full article

What's New Features in Android 14
Tumblr media
Google's Android 14 beta programme is well underway, with the main release scheduled for the end of summer 2023. We're now looking at Android 14 Beta 4, which is the most recent available update. We're still at least a month away from the final version, and in the meanwhile, there are a slew of new features to sift through and explore before the stable version arrives on all the latest and best Android phones. If you want a complete list of what's new and what to anticipate in Android 14, keep reading - there's a lot, and it's definitely a bigger version than Android 13, though it still doesn't compare to Android 12, which offered Google entire new features. Material You create
Android 14 release date, and supported devices
Android 14 maintains a similar release schedule to previous iterations. As you can see in the timetable below, we're looking at two developer previews, the first of which will be published in February and the second in March. Google launched the first beta on April 12, followed by Beta 1.1 two weeks later. Historically, the firm has saved some of the more intriguing consumer-facing updates until the release that coincides with its developer conference on May 10, Google I/O, as was the case this year. On stage, there were a few announcements about some interesting new features coming to Android 14. In the meanwhile, there were various bug-fixing releases, such as Beta 2.1 on May 25. According to the plan, Android 14 gained platform stability with the third beta in June. This implies that developers may create apps leveraging the new features and APIs offered in Android 14 without fear of further modifications before the release. A fourth beta was released in July, and the stable release will follow soon after. If history is any guide, the release date will most likely be around August or September .The beta programmer is compatible with the following Google Pixel devices: - Pixel Tablet - Pixel Fold - Pixel 7a - Pixel 7 & 7 Pro - Pixel 6a - Pixel 6 & 6 Pro - Pixel 5a 5G - Pixel 5 - Pixel 4a 5G The recently introduced Google Pixel 7a, Pixel Tablet, and Pixel Fold are now part of the beta programme, with Android 14 Beta 3 for the former and Android 14 Beta 4 for the latter two. On the opposite end of the spectrum, the Google Pixel 4a, which lacks the 5G component, will not see any beta releases. It is not certain to receive any updates beyond Android 13 as per Google's commitment of three software upgrades, and it does not appear that it will receive Android 14. The developer preview and early beta releases were, as usual, limited to the Google Pixel phone range. Following Google I/O, more phones from other manufacturers joined the beta programme, as has been the case with previous Android versions. You can presently acquire the Android 14 Beta on the following devices, albeit based on our hands-on experience with them, you should avoid installing Android 14 on them until it's more stable: - iQOO 11 - Lenovo Tab Extreme - Nothing Phone 1 - OnePlus 11 - Oppo Find N2 Flip - Realme GT2 Pro - Tecno Camon 20 Series - Vivo X90 Pro - Xiaomi 13 Pro - Xiaomi 13 - Xiaomi 12 Google has also made generic system images (GSIs) available for download, which can be installed on any phone that supports Project Treble. But before you go that way, make sure you know exactly how to install an Android beta. After the beta testing is over, we anticipate that Android 14 will be accessible on all modern Android phones as well as the flagship phones from the previous several years. Depending on your manufacturer, the deployment may take more than a few months. Samsung phones are often updated quite rapidly, within a few months after the initial release, but the same cannot be said for Asus, Motorola, and other manufacturers. What's new in Android 14 Beta 4 Google released Android 13 Beta 4 on July 11, right in the midst of Amazon's Prime Day shopping event. Barring any point releases for further bug fixes, this is supposed to be the last beta before Android 14 goes stable, likely in August or September the latest. There are a few more tweaks that make the new version of the OS ready for prime time, so let's dive right in. Android 14's Easter egg is finally here Every Android version contains a hidden Easter egg in the system settings, and Android 14 is no exception. The Easter egg has you launch a rocket, soaring across the wide nothingness of space with the chance to explore stars, planets, and more, in keeping with the Apollo 14-inspired logo for this edition. It's a fun little mini-game that you should certainly try out if you have Android 14.
Tumblr media
You may access it, like in previous releases, by opening system settings, going to About phone Android version, and repeatedly and rapidly clicking the Android version entry. Then, long-press the Android 14 logo for a few seconds to launch the rocket, which includes haptic stimulation. Android 14 Beta 4 makes PIN entry slightly faster Many Android phones allow you to unlock your handset instantaneously by entering the right PIN without needing to press an additional enter button. Google has finally added this functionality to Pixel phones. When you have a PIN with six numbers or more, an option to turn on Auto-confirm unlock appears in system settings under Security & privacy Device unlock screen lock cog. The option is checked by default when you create a six-digit PIN, but you may uncheck it if you want not to reveal a burglar how many digits your PIN contains. When you enable the change, you will see outlines on your PIN entering page indicating how many numbers you need to write, and the enter button in the keyboard will be removed. As you press the keys, the outlines fill in. When you input an incorrect digit on the last outline, the entry area clears instantaneously, forcing you to completely repeat your PIN. The way themed icons are shown has been tweaked in Android 13 Beta 3, with more of your themed colour being used for the backdrop than previously. Many users were dissatisfied with the lower contrast in dark mode, and in Beta 4, Google has further adjusted the design to bring the icons back in line with their appearance in Android 13.
Tumblr media
Android 14 adds new default profile images If you share your device with many individuals (as may be the situation with the Pixel Tablet), you must switch between various profiles. You may either use your own photos or rely on Android 14's slick new selection of preset graphics, which was discovered by Mishaal Rahman. Android 14 Beta 4 brings home screen customization to older Pixel phones Prior to the Pixel 6, home screen customization capabilities, like as the ability to pick different lock screen shortcuts or clocks, were inexplicably lacking from Pixel phones. Several owners verified in Mishaal Rahman's Twitter thread that they may now do so using Android 14 Beta 4. Android 14 makes your lock screen customizable Apple's iOS 16 allows extremely customised lock screens, and it seemed obvious that Google would have to respond at some time. That's the situation with Android 14. In Android 14 Beta 3, the business allows you to replace the default lock screen clock with a number of other options. Furthermore, you may select a more complicated interface that reorganises the other info on your lock screen, such as the current weather conditions and date. Surprisingly, Mishaal Rahman says that the personalization choices are unavailable on the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5. We can only hope that this is a glitch. If you don't want home automation or Google Wallet, you'll be able to switch to various fast action buttons at the bottom with Android 14. You may choose whether to easily access the QR code scanner, torch, Do Not Disturb or Mute, photo or video camera or nothing at all for a cleaner appearance. To activate the activities, you must now long-press the buttons, much as on iOS. In terms of parallels, you can reach the personalization choices by long-pressing the home screen, something Apple added to its operating system a time back. Android 14 offers new gesture navigation tutorials Many people are still unfamiliar with gesture navigation, and the navigation mechanism on the future Google Pixel Fold and Pixel Tablet with its taskbar is just growing more confusing. The two new additions to Google's portfolio are most likely the reason the firm opted to rework its gesture navigation instruction for phones, which is now also available through system settings.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Android 14 brings back the clock shortcut in the notification
Tumblr media
Google loves to change the notification shade with each Android release, and Android 14 is no exception. The clock in the upper left corner has been turned into a tappable portion, allowing you to instantly access the Clock app without cluttering your home screen with yet another icon or widget. The feature appears and disappears in Android, and it was last deleted in Android 12 after being present on Pixel phones in Android 11. Android 14 gets a new mouse cursor Android 14 Beta 3 includes a new mouse pointer that appears a lot more contemporary and distinct than the existing Mac-like version, as observed by Tasker developer Joo Dias (via Mishaal Rahman). The new form resembles a triangle rather than a pointer, but it is still clear what function it serves. With Google's renewed interest in tablets and rumours of a Pro version of the Pixel Tablets circulating, it's understandable that it would want to refine productivity tools like these. How to Get the Android 14 Beta right now Android 14 is available for download for everyone. You can simply opt into beta testing via the Android Beta Program, and you'll get a normal system update like you know from normal Android releases. Of course, you can still learn how to manually install the Android 14 Beta on your Pixel phone, if that's your jam. Keep in mind that the software isn't as stable as a finalized release, so you should only install it when you have a spare phone or when you're okay with not being able to use your phone due to bugs. Epic Battle: OnePlus 12 vs. Galaxy S24 Ultra Features
Tumblr media
Features between the OnePlus 12 vs. Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra
A Guide
However the launch of the OnePlus 12 is expected to be announced, while the new Samsung Galaxy S24 software Ultra will be announced in mid-January. Both high-end flagships will bring their manufacturers’ best to market, but they will do things differently.
Both the OnePlus 12 and Galaxy S24 Ultra are similar to their predecessors. Each device is essentially an incremental update to the long line of former flagships. Simply put, we’re getting more of the same.
Given how well these two flagships are doing, this isn’t a bad result. They’ll be on top for a while, so give each your full attention.
Contents Table
Size and Design
Display Differences
Quality of Performance: Camera and Audio
Battery and Charging Specifics
Learn more about the Galaxy S24 Ultra release date, price, specs, and key features.
Size and Design
We expect the OnePlus 12 to look similar to the OnePlus 11. OnePlus seems reluctant to leave its comfort zone. Since the OnePlus 11, 10 Pro, and 9 Pro share a strong design language, the OnePlus 12 will fit in nicely. All the devices mentioned have aluminum frames and Gorilla Glass front and back, so the OnePlus 12 may be similar.
The OnePlus ring switch will return, but on the left side of the phone.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra will go titanium, like the iPhone 15 Pro series a few months ago. The next Samsung Galaxy may have flat sides and a flatter design than previous models.
With prominent rear camera rings, the phone will look like the Galaxy lineup. Also on board: the S Pen.
No fewer than three colors white, black, and a marble-textured green are expected for the OnePlus 12. Samsung will likely release the Galaxy S24 Ultra in Black, Gray, Violet, and Yellow. As usual, Samsung.com may offer exclusive colors.
Both devices’ ports should remain unchanged. Bottom-mounted USB Type-C ports, no audio jacks, and no microSD card slots.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra will come in a slim box without a charger. However, we hope OnePlus will continue to include a fast charger in the box, which boosts value.
Display Differences
The new OnePlus 12 is going to include a 6.82-cm QHD+ display and the now-standard LTPO 3.0 technology, where actively switches the screen’s refresh rate between a single second and 120Hz. This makes user interface surfing more enjoyable and may save battery life.
The OnePlus 12’s high peak brightness may be its most intriguing screen feature. Initial assessments suggest the cell phone will have 2,600 nits, making it accessible in daylight while being capable of displaying High Dynamic Range (HDR) content.
The new Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will have the exact same 6.8-inch Dynamic Display screen as current Galaxy Ultra flagships. Your phone’s 3080 x 1440 display display has 500ppi resolution and Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Samsung’s leading phone screens have become famous by their contrast, brightness, it will amazing color accuracy, so we expecting no less.
Lighting appears to be that of a Galaxy S24 Ultra strong. The next model is believed to be brighter than the original model, reaching 2,500 scratches, which is similar to the OnePlus 12.
The two smartphones will feature facial authentication and fingerprint scanners beneath the display.
Performance and Software
Samsung’s may use Snapdragon 2400 in most non-US regions, depending to initial reports. However, Galaxy may use smartphone second-gen 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 on the the Galaxy S24 Extreme internationally. We suspect that Galaxy has recently scored a slightly faster Broadcom chip than the majority of the Android manufacturers, possibly called Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy. The Galaxy S23 Ultra was the only Galaxy to get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
RAM will range from 8GB to 12GB in premium tiers. Storage is expected to be 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. Whether the 128GB version will remain is unknown.
OnePlus 12 will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 on a second-gen 4nm node. The OnePlus 12 will perform well with this flagship chip. The mobile device may have 12GB, 16GB, or 24GB RAM, 256 gigabyte 512GB, or 1TB storage.
A good camera setup comprises an important component in contemporary telephones
Following majority its earlier previous generations, the smartphone from OnePlus 12 will come with a triple-camera setup, but the company will be playing it safe. The device will employ a traditional triple camera setup of a wide-angle, ultra-wide angle, and zooming sensors.
OnePlus doesn’t shy away from innovation. The OnePlus 12 may have the same innovative main camera sensor as the OnePlus Open foldable. The intriguing 50MP Sony LYT-T808, or LYTIA, sensor will be touring. This Sony sensor’s dual-layer structure absorbs more light than conventional camera sensors, boosting signal saturation even in poor lighting conditions.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra will undergo a major change. Samsung’s smartphone swapped the 10X telescopic cameras that generated up to 100 times hybrid magnify on formerly Galaxy flagship companies with an increasingly practical 5.0X closeup camera. According to the 10X optical zoom, a shorter focal length would be more practical in everyday situations.
The camera setup is mostly the same, but we expect many processing and algorithm improvements. We knew Zoom Anyplace and other AI features would be coming. Zoom Anyplace automatically tracks subjects in videos and records full-frame zoomed-out footage of the entire area, giving you two 4K video files.
The new E2E AI Remosaic feature will also drastically reduce capture and processing time.
Audio/Haptic Quality
With the OnePlus 12, the company improved invisible features that rarely make headlines but always affect user experience. The OnePlus 12’s audio and haptic feedback may have improved, so we’re optimistic.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra builds on previous Galaxy flagships’ solid foundation. Excellent audio and haptic feedback make those among the best in the game.
Charge and usage of the battery
Estimates suggest this OnePlus 12 will feature a 5400mAh battery, which, when combined with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and light-weight interface is will boost battery life. Following is hoping!
The new Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is keeping its 5000mAh battery for a second year, and it could offer slightly longer lifespan than last year’s Galaxy S23 Ultra, nonetheless it will be close.
Charging-wise, OnePlus dominates. With 100W wired charging, the OnePlus 12 will outperform the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which will likely get 45W charging for another year. Wireless charging will also favor the OnePlus 12: 50W versus 15W for the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

New OnePlus 12 Leaks Emerge, December Launch Date Predicted
Tumblr media
A while back, we got word of what we might see with OnePlus' upcoming phone, the OnePlus 12 - while it's still yet to be announced, there's been an abundance of leaks all over the internet, and at this point it's safe to say that we have a better idea of what to expect, once OnePlus announces its next flagship handset. Previously, we highlighted some of the leaks that have been posted online, and since then there have been some new developments, which shouldn't come as a big surprise, especially given the frequency of consumer tech leaks and rumours nowadays. So what's new with the OnePlus 12? Let's take a look. Launch Date A while back, online tech tipster Yogesh Brar posted on Twitter saying that the OnePlus 12 is expected to have a December launch event, although no specific date was given. This date now seems to have been confirmed even more by a recent Twitter post from tech journalist Max Jambor, who likewise predicts a December release for the OnePlus 12. If true, this would be a most interesting development given that the previous OnePlus devices launches were held in January (OnePlus 11), and March (OnePlus 10 and 9 series). At this point it still isn't clear which regions might get the OnePlus 12 first, although it's strongly believed that the December launch will be kept exclusive for Chinese markets, with North America seeing a 2024 release. Internal Hardware and Cameras As for what's inside the phone, there have been rumours spotted on Chinese social networking site Weibo, which strongly suggest that the OnePlus 12 will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a mobile SoC which still hasn't been released or announced yet, but we have little doubt is currently in development at the time being. It wouldn't be much of a surprise of course, especially given that OnePlus flagships always feature the latest high-end SoCs from Qualcomm. The phone might also come with a triple-camera array on the rear, with a 50-megapixel main Sony IMX sensor, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, as well as a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. Additionally, it looks like OnePlus will still retain the Hasselblad branding for the 12, at least for now. Previously, it was mentioned that the phone will come with a large 5,000 mAh battery, although newer intel suggests that the company might instead go with a larger 5,400 mah capacity. This would be a lot more ideal, especially if the 8 Gen 3 proves to be a power-hungry chip. This then brings to mind the concern for faster charging speeds, especially given this larger capacity battery (if confirmed). If older leaks are to be believed, the OnePlus 12 might feature 150W fast charging speeds, a feature not offered on a lot of Android devices in the US. This has since been updated however, and it's now thought that the phone will come with a more "conservative" 100W wired charging speed, with 50W wireless charging speeds. Nevertheless, both are still fast as far as most smartphones are concerned, and are a terrific feature. External Design In terms of design, it looks like OnePlus is taking some design cures from other companies such as Samsung and Apple, who have essentially reused flagship handset designs for a couple of generations now, as seen in the case of handsets like the iPhone 13 and 14, and the Galaxy S22 and S22 Ultra. As such, a recent batch of images from tech website Smartprix and OnLeaks show that the OnePlus 12 might end up looking familiar - a little too familiar, in fact. The renders show a design that's very reminiscent of the OnePlus 11, indicating that the 12 will resemble its older sibling in several visual aspects, such as the device's rear panel. The OnePlus 12 is predicted to come with a very similar look to its predecessor, including the same circular styling of the camera module, as well as the off-centre placement on the back. The renders also show a curved display, something that we've seen on several OnePlus phones already, and it looks like the company will be using a 6.7-inch display, with 2K pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. In other OnePlus news, the company is expected to launch its first-ever foldable soon. For those not in the know, the company confirmed back in March that it will be developing a foldable Android handset, and will be competing against the likes of Samsung and Google in the foldable market. Going back to the OnePlus 12, the company's next phone is certainly shaping up to be a terrific Android flagship, and there's little doubt that brand loyalists and OnePlus fans have a lot to look forward to once it makes its debut.
