I reread my baby obi-wan fic last night and now im having feelings again
#mads posts#stewjon is space scotland#mads writes#baby!!! hes baby!!!#i want to write the one where he visits stewjon during the clone wars#and goes home to visit (meet?) his family(?)#and its just#they dont recognize each other. obi wan only found them by looking at his own file#hes no longer the little baby that they handed over to the jedi#all of his siblings have been able to escape the cycle of war that wrecked stewjon three generations past#but obi wan (jedi) (negotiator) (peacekeeper) is a general for the republic#they dont know how to treat each other#obi wan doesnt know his way around his own house#yana-conn has children of his own who recognize obi wan from the propaganda holos and climb all over him asking for stories#his stories are entertaining for the kids and quietly horrifying for the adults#their littlest brother has been through more tragedies than all of them combined#ito-ben and obi-keit have held onto this belief for 30+ years that giving obi-wan to the jedi was the best thing that could be done for him#now they're doubting#obi-wan realizes he named himself 'ben' after his father without even realizing and has. twenty crises#one of yana-conn's kids is force sensitive and obi-wan quietly pulls him aside and tells him to not give the child to the jedi yet.#at least until the war is over. she'll be safer on stewjon#'safer on stewjon'. what a concept. safer than with the jedi; even. yana-conn doesn't ask any more questions after that.#uh. uh. anyways. dies.
