#woolly rambles#this is so selfish but i do hate how much the trump/musk stuff is making it difficult for me to enjoy my wedding#i'm at just about a month out from the date and am going on my bachelorette party this weekend and that should all be fun#but instead i'm worried about people flying in following all these FAA firings#one of my bridesmaids is a federal worker and i'm worried she's going to lose her job#there is a very good chance the federal government won't be open during my wedding and who the fuck knows what the impacts of that will be#money's already tight for most folks and asking them to spend more to come to a frivolous event is just#uuuugggghhhh#i know that in times of chaos and uncertainty having fun and celebrating the human moments is important#but that doesn't mean i'm not still feeling weird about the timing#and resentful about the whole thing
