I'm surprised visual AI became big before music AI. I feel like it would be easier to make music AI since there's theory to it.

And I can see more of the controversy with that. Because I neither pay for commissions nor do I sell commissions so the way I interact with both AI and meat made art is scrolling on Tumblr / twitter "Oh that's nice" then continue scrolling. But with music if like some DJ (granted DJing is already like this) just pushed a button to make a song. That I think would be an insult for someone who sat down and did sound design, played instruments or sang, mixed this whole track.
