--me, right before getting absolutely soaked and having to spend 20 minutes drying my socks with a tiny hairdryer because they were the only things I couldn't change out of at work
#it was a humbling experience#lesson learned: there's always need for an extra pair of socks#the rain WAS slightly overdoing it this morning though#i do have rain gear. it's fairly reliable.#it. gave up.#i had so much water in my eyes from just the rain running down my face i couldn't see anything half of the way#slightly miserable#on the plus side: there were no other cyclists around so i didn't have to watch out for other people's shenanigans (aka traffic violations)
