Hey friendo I know someone probably already asked but out of curiosity and possibly cosplay shenanigans what do your apprentices sound like? What are their accents? Vocal ranges? Singing voices? (Also asking for maybe comic dubs)

This has only been asked once and it was just HC voices for Valdemar, Julian and Vicky back when I still only really had her, so yeah I guess it was about time I did a bigger version with her and all my new OCs.

Vicky:

She sounds very similar to Kimiko Glenn

She always articulates her words properly. She likes to be clean and precise when she explains things but her cadence is still very colorful and lively

She sounds like a friend!!

She may have a bit of an accent, but it only shows rarely when she pronounces her Rs. Hers are a bit more rolled than in the English language, but it’s hardly noticeable

Here you can hear her both singing and “talking”

This is the closest approximation of Vicky’s voice I can find

Diantho

Their voice isn’t breathy; it could be compared to the ringing of little bells

It’s similar to the voice of Lilla Crawford in Into the Woods, but higher and younger sounding

Neville

When he talks, he sounds like Peter Pears

His accent is pretty much the same as his

When he sings, he sounds similar to Pavarotti

He has the same vocal range as his and I chose an italian voice because a good opera singer needs to have no accent whatsoever when he sings

So if he were to live in the real world, he definitely would sing Italian opera sometimes

Italy doesn’t really “exist” in the Arcana universe per se, but, if it did I like to think Neville would be so passionate about his job that he would have absolutely no accent of his when singing

She sounds like Lisa Edelstein!

Especially like Lisa Edelstein in her role as Kya in TLOK like in that link I put there

Keith

Liam Neeson when he’s quiet and angry

Not as nasal sounding as sometimes Liam Neeson is but

Pretty much same timbre

Edith (WTNC but I thought I’d add her as well)

She is usually quiet and doesn’t like to raise her voice

She sounds pretty much like Zelda Williams

When talking about work, she sounds very professional. She never says unnecessary words and doesn’t use speech fillers like “uhm”, “ah”, etc.

When she needs to comfort someone or simply when she’s with friends, she doesn’t sound as robotic as when she’s in her “work” mindset, and the breathy factor in her voice makes her sound extra soft
