as a morning person, you never thought there'd come a day that you'd dread waking up early.

but here you are, roused awake by the shuffling of feet on the side of your bed.

you don't want him to go home yet.

you don't want this to end.

mattsun's bent over, looking for something on the floor (his pants, maybe) when you blink your eyes open. it hurts. you don't think the sunlight's hit him quite this perfectly, kissing the curled tips of his hair and cascading the slope of his nose down the side of his body.

if you keep your eyes closed, maybe this'll all stay as a dream (or is it a nightmare?)—one you'll wake up from and find yourself still dreading, not living.

"we have to stop this," mattsun grips your thigh, wrapping it around his waist as he presses into you, "this has to be the last time."

if you reach over and grab the sheets, rustle them enough that going back to sleep will seem more enticing than whatever it is he's looking for on the floor—maybe he'll go back to bed.
