so I've established that an Anders rivalmance while still being a decent person is very difficult. what about Fenris? I'm considering replaying Oliver when I'm done with Ari and maybe rivalling Fenris this time. getting pro-mage rivalry points should be easy enough, but A Bitter Pill gives sooooo much friendship just for ..... not being a dick to him. so like. can it be done?

#the thing about Oliver is he only does fenrismance for the beginning of act 2 #getting his heart broken by Fenris is actually a Key Part of his character arc #i think it could be interestign to have him rival this time #....... then again may run into some of the same issues as rivalmancing anders as ari #because oliver is pro-templar in act one #last time i brought fenris everywhere act 1 and got his friendship to 100 before the deep roads even lol #also divided whether to do templar or warden carver #on the one hand carver becoming a templar is Also A Key Character Moment for Oliver #on the other hand p much any post da2 fic i write would have warden Carver just coz idk that's how my brain sees the worldstate #oliver's headspace is less.
