Listen... I was Only supposed to design a new Stanley and figure out how to draw him, but ended up with an archetype Narrator design for the Psychonauts AU(?) as well. So...

Funny thoughts about the Narrator design under the Read More, I guess :]

For those who don’t know Psychonauts, in the game, there is a psychic ability called Mental Projection which allows the user to manifest a 2D archetype of themself into the real world to do tasks and whatnot.

In this AU, I imagine that Stanley is only Pretending to be psychic with the help of the Narrator, with the Narrator sometimes pretending to be Stanley’s archetype. Just to humour the Psychonauts, perhaps. I was going to write (am still writing?) a little Thing about the Narrator presenting this to Stanley, but eh. I don’t think he actually is inhabiting this form, but rather is just puppeting it. Does not make it any less expressive.

Now, creating the Narrator as an archetype is Super Fucking Convenient. For one, his name fits the naming conventions for archetypes (The Teacher, The Hero, etc.), though he wouldn’t much enjoy being called Narrator Stanley. Like all archetypes, this one is also made from paper, specifically lined. Considering how many times he [rustles paper], I think is rather this is fitting hgfkjghdkfj His colours and such look like they came from highlighters, and is overall very... office-y, stationary-centric. As it should be.

Favorite story you’ve written so far: aaahh that’s too difficult! i’m reallyyy struggling to choose. i Think i have to go with  Being with you (Makes the flame burn good) because.... yes. but also? the poalof soulmate au one shot (Don't) Leave Me Alone i’m kind of proud of that one. i just was inspired and i wrote it impulsively and i really like it? i don’t know but then !! the ocean’s 8 x hill house au, the vampire aus, i love them all please dont make me choose

Fic you were nervous to post: surprisingly i don’t really get very nervous about posting fics. i feel no shame i guess lol and none has been a really out of the ordinary stuff yet so nothing to be embarrassed about. i get really nervous posting the first fic i write for each fandom! especially the poalof ones bc that fandom’s writing is intimidatingly good lol but if i had to chose... my first one!  One Of My Girls an ocean’s 8 ot3 fic? where the fuck did i even find the courage

How do you choose your titles?: that’s my favorite part lol okay so it’s either a line from a song from a playlist i’ve made for that particular pairing/movie/show, a line of dialogue from the fic, or something funny, dumb or obvious aka The Haunting of Hill (Coffee)House, (Red) Room for 8, and Room 28 lol i’m so clever and hilarious! ghjdfgh im embarrasingly proud of those titles

Do you outline?: hmm not much. usually i get an idea, start writing in a hurry and hope for the best. and when i do outline it goes a little bit like bullet points with random ideas that hopefully become chapters. or when it’s something really important that i can’t forget it’s the messiest rambling with dialogue and spanish and !!!!! and ????? all over

Coming soon/not yet started: okay. so. there are a couple of prompts, then maybe a few more. there’s the andromaquynh secret santa story. the tog bang story. then the tog big bang story. the andromaquynh ghost au. if i don’t die in the process i’d like to write one or two christmas themed one shots. and if i survive all of this i really want to write a dani x jamie x san junipero au story (how will i manage all of this? i have absolutely no idea. please send help)

Prompts?: yeah! kind of. i’ve only written prompts for The Old Guard because idk it’s the only fandom were people paid me any attention lol but im gonna stop when i reach 100 prompts bc wow how the fuck did that even happen

Upcoming work you’re most excited about: Andromaquynh Ghost AU!!!!!!! it’s also the one i’m maybe nervous about. i have it all planned. i’m excited about the ending. i’m excited about some really self indulgent parts jk the whole thing is self indulgent i mean it’s just andromaquynh and ghosts that’s all i care about. but yeah i’m very excited about it!!
