I've always thought the idea that how pretty Aubrey is is actually just Monty being an unreliable narrator as pretty funny. it's just so cute to me to imagine she made this mask with every intention of being relatively unremarkable to fly under the radar, but then Monty comes along and thinks she is just wildly gorgeous. someone can be uniquely cute or attractive simply because it's you looking at them, it's just the case that Monty hasn't bothered to consider her view of Aubrey isn't objective lmao
