listen, i know the pain of paragraphs being gone, when i was writing it happened all the time
i can really see the confession headcanon 😭 the way he was trying to get to him? and that makes the yawp even more tragic, because he couldn't bring himself to tell neil his feelings before but after his death he would shout it to everyone???
poetry was their love language!!! yes, and as i've said before- they encouraged each other to do this and omg i love this so much. imo that's also one of the scenes where they look the most comfortable. they are pushing each other, yelling, neil says 'put more into it!' and todd starts screaming and spinning around?
i've also already mentioned it, but in the rehersal scene when they say 'oh i love this' 'what, me?' TODD'S VOICE. todd's voice seems so real, so vulnerable and hopeful? like he's completely for real asking if neil loves him
about the two last paragraphs: they can be the only people that understand and accept the other one's 'new identity', art, poetry. eve other poets or mr keating don't know them that well. they would do much more than we see or read about them being roomates for 4 (only? 😭) months. todd would write and get frustrated, feeling like he shouldn't and can't do it, but i imagine then neil would encourage him. and neil, when he'd have moments of doubt and would be visibly anxious, doubting himself and his plan, todd would be there.
i also like to headcanon that they were rehersing a lot in their room (they must have), so in the end so many moments and quotes in the play would remind neil of todd? idk i might just exaggerate
i've seen many ppl say that keating knew/felt it in some way. i think he would. he'd understand the situation (just like you wrote it lmao) and knew how hard it already is for them, so he just encouraged them to do art like he was supossed to do. and i feel it in the final classroom scene when todd's crying and explaining himself. keating knows
(i feel like i need to write it here- if anyone would doubt the feelings between neil and todd i would literally pull out this post)
*or just one of them
**or 'complicated' feelings if you know what i mean

Hello, dear author!
I'm not here to ask any questions, I just want to tell "thank you for your story*_* and I apologize for any mistakes. English isn't my native language and I'm too excited to think about grammar😆
It was a lucky coincidence for me to see one of my favourite authors reblogged your post with an update. It made me curious cuz I liked that's person writing - and I decided to read your story. And... WOW? Like why I didn't know about this before? A perfect mix of interesting plot, engaging characters, mature themes and good humour??? Yes please!!! I spent half of my night to read it and it was awesome!!! I instantly fell in love with Hanol - I love this kind of dutiful and loyal big puppies type of LI, but then I met his Emperor and thought "wow, that must be interesting romance - all this status/power difference". And then you give us mischievous and adorable noble, and I'm like "what am I supposed to do with all those cool characters? How am I supposed to pick one??"
Oh, I didn't intend to ask any questions, but I actually have one: which romance is gonna be angstiest and most dramatic? Cuz I'm sucker for pain and that's probably will be my first route 🫣
Ahem. So, I'll stop rambling now😅 But really - thank you! It's awesome story, and you definitely got one new fan💕
i'm glad that you enjoyed this story and the characters!! don't worry about your english, i think it's great :D
as for which routes are going to be the angstiest... wow! i haven't fleshed out all of them just yet, but from what i have so far:
yongsun, hansol, wooyoung, ????
some of the routes are more angsty than others depending on the allegiances you end up picking! and not all of them will have happy endings :")

A Response to a Feyre Anti
I made a post recently explaining the dread of having to watch Feyre be abused by her sisters and father, in the Tv adaption. And a Feyre anti made a response, to something that should not be criticized at all considering what I said was just the truth? Feyre was abused. Not only that but they went on and completely twisted the narrative to fit their own ideas and in the process made Feyre out to be cruel and Nesta a saint. complete bull.
I will not be tagging the anti bc they have me blocked (shocker), but also I do not want anyone to go after them, if you come across the post, I don't want it to be through me. it's as much respect I can give to them.
I usually do not respond to those who have something to say with a post of mine or are blatantly talking about me on their blog, unless they're just spreading absolute lies about me or what i "said", it's usually a waste of time to do so. but this post attacked Feyre with outrageous lies and a complete backward interpretation of what actually happened in acotar, so as respectful as I can be, I will be analyzing the anti-response and what truly happened in acotar.
"the audience will only see two sisters fighting-not abuse" "it’s not Nesta you need to worry about. It’s audiences calling Feyre a big dumbass and a bitch" -from anti
if the audience has basic human compassion and empathy for humans IRL or fictional, they will see what's obvious from the start. Feyres abuse. how is it going to look, when they see Feyre walking through the woods, shaking from the cold, starving from hunger, and struggling to find food for her family? only to later see Nesta's treatment of Feyre?"
Tumblr media
in the anti's post, they said Feyre was just as "heinous" to Nesta.
is Feyre the one calling Nesta a pig? a smelly pig? ordering her to take her clothes off?
no, it's not, it's dear Nesta. the text goes as "I took my time, swallowing the words I wanted to bark at her" oh yes... how cruel of Feyre. how heinous of Feyre to...stay quiet... at the verbal abuse.
in the same image we see Feyre ask Nesta to do something (kindly might I add) and then inquire why she didn't chop wood like she needs to.
what does Nesta do? acts like a brat and insults Feyre...once again.
considering I'm going off by the story and not the actual screenplay, and assuming they stay true to the story; will the audience not be disgusted by Nesta's behavior? I mean they just saw Feyre struggle to find food and they expect Feyre to go home to a family happy and appreciative of Feyre but instead, they get this familial abuse.
Tumblr media
the anti said Feyre basically tells Nesta this:
"If you keep bitching at everyone like this no one will want to be around you or you can’t marry this guy because you’re a waste of space to me"
but what do we see?
"Believe me... the day you want to marry someone worthy, I'll march up to his house and hand you over. But you're not going to marry Tomas."
the word worthy, did that not catch your eye? Feyre said Nesta will have to marry someone worthy, someone, who will treat Nesta kindly and give her the life Feyre thinks her sisters deserve. bc Feyre does think that IDK why anti feyres think Feyre despised Nesta so much, Feyre loved her sisters.
what the anti fails to realize here is that Nesta marrying Tomas would have been actually pretty great for Feyre. in the sense that, Feyre would no longer carry the burden of her sister. Feyre would not have to worry about feeding one more mouth. or worrying about Nesta's constant stealing of Feyre's money. Feyre does not think Nesta is a "waste of space" to her, if she did, it would have been easy for Feyre to discard Nesta, and allow her to marry Tomas. the anti has that twisted.
but that is not even the worst part of the scene. did you see the shameless slut-shaming that came out of Nesta's mouth? how will the audience take to that? do you think most of the younger generation will take it lightly to see a sister slut-shame a sister? a woman putting down another woman? in this social climate? where the feminism movement is alive and flourishing. will they be okay with it? will they still blame Feyre and be mad at her the way the anti says they will be? I hope not otherwise I'm losing faith in humanity.
Tumblr media
Lovely words Nesta spews at Feyre. I admit Feyre should have told her then and there that Tomas is abusive. but let's think: Feyre is 19 years old, the youngest, has never had any raising by a parental figure, has been neglected by her whole family, where would Feyre learn to calmly talk to an overgrown brat like Nesta? Feyre telling Nesta who Tomas truly is the duty of a parent, not a sister. I will not condemn Feyre for not knowing that was the perfect time to tell Nesta who Tomas is. especially when Feyre is being tormented and verbally/emotionally abused, its kinda hard to think about something else while you're being told all these horrible words. to us its easy to see where Feyre went wrong but unless you're in the exact position Feyre was in. no one has any room to talk. and even then, every person is different in situations like these.
this part was me analyzing the interactions between Feyre and Nesta since anti had reasons to believe Feyre was just as bad to Nesta and that the audience would see that and hate Feyre. I am now going to respond to the second part of the Feyre Anti's response.
"How will an audience of non-fans react to her not reaching out to her family to tell them she was okay after the reconciliation between her and Nesta? Or not inviting them to the wedding?"- from anti
moving onto acomaf now.
Idk maybe the audience will see Feyre, a depressed, lonely, individual in an abusive relationship while being manipulated by other individuals she called friends, and understand and empathize with her. all throughout the beginning and half of acomaf, Feyre is in critical depression. she wholeheartedly believes she should not be alive. that she is not worthy. she doesn't eat, all she does is sleep, self-care is not important to her or others so why would letting a family know she's okay, a family who BARELY ever cared about her, be a priority? it doesn't seem like Nesta or elain or her father was really fazed by Feyre's lack of communication. her father left on a trip, elain got engaged and Nesta, well we didn't see a tearful welcoming to Feyre on Nesta's part did we?
anti, where is the outcry of her "family" not even really caring if Feyre was safe or not, of what happened to her? it's not like they thought she had died, otherwise, where was the mourning or funeral? no, they just didn't care.
see this is where I know when anti is just full of bullshit. why, WHY, would Feyre invite her family to wedding full of fae? the creatures elain and Nesta fear and hate? for all the talk many anti's spew about Feyre being inconsiderate to Nesta, to her family, you would think Feyre maybe just knows a fae wedding would be the last thing they would want? even then, does Feyre owe them an invitation to her wedding? does she owe them an update on her life? nope. Feyre owed them nothing.
"How about her shit-talking Nesta to a bunch of strangers then having the audacity to ask her to get involved in a war. Oh! This is after she comes into her house and insults their hospitality." - from anti
I hardly think Feyre confiding in individuals who she learned to care about and laying out all the trauma Feyre endured with her family is "shit-talking" but for argument's sake, let's say it is. I still don't see what's wrong? after years of pent-up anger and hurt, would you not let go of everything you withheld inside and explain what was done to you? how you felt? Feyre telling the IC her life story, which contains Nesta's abuse and her family's neglect, was a form of therapy for Feyre. I never read a line where Feyre calls Nesta a "cold-hearted bitch" or called elain "a lazy ditz" she just said the truth. no added embellishments. Cassian was the one who shit-talked Nesta during the dinner scene, never Feyre.
I still don't understand why antis are so against Feyre asking her sisters for help? like the war didn't involve them? they're humans, and you know what the war was about? Hybern wanting to take control of the human lands like they once did and turn them into slaves. those humans included Nesta and elain.
"They could have left the continent" correct, except elain was engaged and refused to leave Grayson. which meant Nesta refused to leave elain. but even so, isn't it the duty of humans to band together and work to overthrow a race of people who want to torture and keep them as slaves? the queens certainly weren't doing their jobs. Feyre asked to use "their" house to meet the queens bc where else would they do it? the queens trust the fae less than Nesta or elain did. but even so, Feyre asking to use their house was a courtesy, that house is rightfully Feyre's. she is the one who sacrificed herself to leave with Tamlin. she did it bravely, courageously, and they got that house thanks to her. they owed Feyre everything. and the only one who acknowledged that was Elain.
that war involved elain and Nesta whether they or Feyre or the anti's liked it or not. not even considering that Nesta and elain are Feyre Archerons sisters, yeah, their family name alone puts a target on their back.
How did Feyre or the court insult Elain's and Nesta's hospitality? You mean when Feyre realized human food differed from fae food? something she did not know about bc she's barely been turned to fae and only had eaten fae dishes? Feyre's grimace towards the human food was an involuntary reaction to someone who is still learning their new body. or was it when Cassian called out Nesta for her cold treatment towards Feyre? if that's the case then fuck decency, I would call out a fake bitch in my presence from minute one. you cant call what Nesta did "hospitality" when all she did was insult Feyre when she didn't even care that Feyre had died, or lost her love bc of abuse, or that her body was changed against her will.
hospitality: the friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers.
did y'all read something different bc this for sure was nothing Nesta gave to her guests?
----
the rest of the anti post moves towards Rhysand and his actions UTM which I won't go into because I'm mainly just addressing the false interpretations this anti had to say about Feyre and her family.
I'm not sure how to sign off now lol, but I guess just that I hope this was enough to show how this anti's arguments were completely ludicrous and have absolutely no compassion for Feyre, and instead all the compassion for Feyre's abusers. This anti had a real spin on what the actual story was, and I hope the evidence I provided was enough to show that. Anyways yeah my brain is fried, and I'm done arguing with Feyre anti's for a while now, I need to go praise my queen Feyre so I can receive some semblance of peace.
anyways, stan Feyre for clear skin xx

Hello! Sometimes I see you post stuff from IF blogs and I've recently started playing some IF games, which I've enjoyed so far. Do you have any IF stories you'd recommend in particular? I'm not attached to any particular genre and I don't need romance or a self-insert main character, (though I'm not opposed to either). Though, it's a definite plus if it's LGBTQ+ inclusive! I'm not really sure what the "cornerstones" are of IF so I'll take any and all recommendations haha
Oh god, I play so many IFs. So many. And it’s not even close to all of them, but I’m trying!!
Tbh IFs without romance seems to be very rare, I think because when I think IF I think Choice of Games, and those pretty much always have romance in them. At least, the most well known ones do. But a well done one without romance would be nice too!
Okay, this is a list of my favourites! They’re all LGBT+ inclusive, and most have gender selectable love interests, or at least ones that change gender depending on the gender and sexuality combination you pick. In no particular order, of course.  Behind a cut because I’m gonna give them each a mini review. Because I haven’t done that yet.
(There are so many.)
Mind Blind: I absolutely love our big brother Nick, I love how witty and sharp so much of the dialogue is, I love how the MC clearly has a rather large handicap, but is still such an important person to so many people and not looked down on in the slightest. And when they are, we all know it’s because that person is a jerk! They’re not defined by what they aren’t, but what they are, and that’s a great message.
Shepherds of Haven: Part of why I love this one so much is I just love fantasy settings and this one just pulls it off so well. The cast is full of amazing characters, and I gotta say I die inside pretty regularly for not being able to afford the patreon content, lol. The author puts so much amazing stuff on there, and gives us so much great content in the game and through answers on tumblr, and you can tell this whole thing is just the best thing ever to them, and that makes it the best ever for us readers too!
The Wayhaven Chronicles: I’d be shot if I didn’t mention this one, the series that literally killed dashingdon when the book 3 demo dropped!! Again, another author that cares a lot and does their best to do right by their fans. We’ve been given drip after drip of these amazing characters backstories, and I just cannot wait for more! It’s definitely very romance centered, but the overall plotlines are also very good, and I have to say that no matter who I romance, I just feel like the group as a whole is a family. And that’s wonderful.
Speaker: I really like the lore. I really like the lore. I can’t wait until we get more of the overall plotline. Mostly I want my Speaker to get in deep trouble so Seb, Li and Seer (best sister ever) go off and beat the shit out of whatever is causing it. This probably says something about me, but what can I say, I thrive on angst and inflicting near death injuries on my OCs. Sometimes I even kill them, although all of this is offtopic. Or is it? I guess we’ll find out, although I doubt we’ll actually be able to kill off Speaker. And yes, I am definitely playing the Seb & Li poly route. I love them both so much.
Wilhelmina: I love vampires, ok? Ok? And this one is based off Dracula!! The OG!! And you can choose Drac’s gender!! Shit, sign me up forever!! Yeah, she might be literally killing my bff, torturing my fiancé and low key fucking with my mind, but vampires are hot!! Let me live! Or not. But yeah, this is a really well done retelling of the Dracula novel and I like how well it works as an IF. Did I mention I like vampires?? Especially when they get all monstery?? (This one has an MC with a set gender, as it’s based on an already existing literary figure. Mina can have a same sex relationship with dracula, if you make drac a female, or with Lucy, a female love interest.)
More Things in Heaven and Earth: Hi Nell!! First off, I gotta uncover a deep shame of mine. My family literally has a Shakespeare heirloom collection. As in, my greatgrandfather passed down through the family a collection of Shakespeare that was published in 1911. In ye olde englishe. I tried to read it when I was like 10 and was like what language is this?? What the fuck? What the fuck??? And ended up reading As You Like It, a bit of Romeo and Juliet, and a little of Hamlet. Didn’t touch the rest of it. I only got into the other stories through trashy ya reimaginings. That said, this retelling of Hamlet inspired me to go read the whole of the original and now I have a lot of fears for these characters that I’m so much more attached to, oh god I hope my Ophelia has a happy ending. I hope Hamlet himself has a happy ending. The dialogue is so well done, everyone is engaging, and yeah it made me finish an old af book when nothing else did. (This one also has an MC with a set gender, female, for the same reason. However, there are two gender variable love interests, so you can very much play a bi or gay Ophelia if you so choose.)
Guenevere: I love King Arthur. All the myths. I have so many books based on the King Arthur mythos, oh dear god. I love pretty much every version of it. All the movie and tv shows too! I just can’t get enough of those knights. I could go on for paragraphs about how courtly love worked and how all the different social castes were, but I’ll try not to. This series lets you customize Guen as a character to an amazing degree, considering that she’s also based on an actual literary figure like the other two I mentioned above. It really feels like she becomes your own character, and yet she still exists within this world very very well. I worry quite a bit that the author might have bit off more than they can chew with the current book they’re working on, what I’ve seen of it looks absolutely massive in scale. What is out so far is a wonderful read though, full of drama and laughter and lots of chances to make the story your own.
Bastard of Camelot: Yep! Another King Arthur series! Sue me! This one lets you set Mordred’s gender though, so it’s more inclusive in that way. It is very interesting to play as one of the “bad guys” of the King Arthur mythos. You can play them as straight up evil, as good, or you know, a bit of column a and a bit of column b. Or they can just be a rude little shit. It’s got dragons too! You get a dragon pet! Dragons are cool. It can be a bit tough to play sometimes, since a lot of people dislike Mordred quite a lot because of prejudices. Hopefully this will change a bit later in the series if you’ve been a fairly good person up to that point. Gotta say though, as a warning, that Mordred is a product of incest. It’s not glossed over, and it does cause a lot of problems for them in the story.
God of the Red Mountain: I just love that this inspired me to read more chinese mythology tbh. There is just so much here! And it’s just such a good read. I wish I was better at describing things. The MC being a spirit that you can define, the whole setting, most of the love interests also being spirits, the massive amount of history and culture and lore, how it all fits together. It is such a well done story. I really wish it got more attention than it does. I still miss Big Sister. I still can’t wait to find out more about the foxes, and how we can heal our MC.
The Nameless: Another one that lets you play as something otherworldly. I love the lore behind this one, and I love all of the cast I’ve met. I kind of like that our MC isn’t loved right off the bat, that we’ll have to win over all of our love interests and even the other npcs. I’m up for the challenge! Everything I’ve read on the tumblr for these characters just makes me love them all more tbh. I love how much they’ve written for all of them! Most of all though, I love Oisein. All the art of them is just *chef kiss* and their personality is magical.
A Mage Reborn: This is a really recent one but!! Wow, it’s really well done! That cliffhanger!! Oof!! Not many books literally start with killing your MC off! That takes guts! I told the author this already, but I love the way they formatted this, the way it starts with the end, so to speak, and then fills it all out. It just made everything feel so poignant, how MC is literally looking back at all these moments in time in the last minutes they have before they die. Shit. That’s powerful. And there’s gonna be more??? Can’t wait for that angst. Give me that drama. Of course I picked the one who had me killed, that’s just how I am!
These are all just the COG type games, there are a few twine games with graphics I’d throw on here, but the list is long enough as it is and they feel like they’re in a different category to me. Maybe it’s just me?

In regards to your post about turning full villain you made a point that you don't care what anyone thinks. How will negative response impact your story progression? By that I mean, outright villains disrupt the flow of other people's stories by their very presence (well meaning or not) and that means eventually people tend to just avoid the individual in question or ignore them to avoid conflict. If that happens how will you adjust?
This was the sort of ask that got me out of bed and my day started JUST so I could answer it properly via keyboard. Which means it’ll be a long answer! Sorry not sorry. So I’m going to break your question down into components just to make sure I give you the best answer I can and my thoughts/feelings behind it all. Actually here’s a keep reading link because this got really wordy...
Now! As far as how the villainous commitment might impede story progression for Percival himself. It’s actually not a huge concern. When I first dabbled in the darkness I found myself attracting a lot of people who are into the bad guy/Dark RP scene. Secret anon fans, ask prompts that spiraled into intricate and interesting plot development, &c. Heck some of my good WoW friends are actually people that I attracted because of dipping my toes into that murky water. @skull-girl-anne @monishadangelo and @euphemiacrowsong to name a few.
That having been said, the risk of being ostracized is one I am fully aware of, and have already experienced to a lesser degree. After that little IC outburst with @ladysaraholt and @ardantahmasholt most of the guild saw Percival as a threat and really wanted nothing to do with him. Not that he was ignored, more so spat on a lot & schemed against (or so it was implied). But your right that even if unintentional, he’s been kinda brushed off by a good chunk of people. Not everyone mind you! But it’s an inevitable occurrence.
So, to adjust to that there’s a few things I’ve done already!
The friends I mentioned earlier are obviously an integral part of the villainous direction. While Percival may lose contact with the ‘good’ characters he once rolled with, the doors have opened to these other characters who will be more accepting his goals/perspectives. There’s also my ever devoted RP partner @cyprisnightingale that I have at my side IC and OOC. So even if the whole server is against me, I know she’s got my back
As far as adjustments I’ve made myself, I have two things going on there. One is that I have formally extended the offer OOC to the guild to use Percival as a villain for any of their plots. Like I mentioned in my earlier post, I’m very okay with him losing every now and then. Not saying he’s going to become your punching bag. Lets be real, he’s a pretty strong sorcerer. But it’s a dynamic challenge for them to try and overcome. This offer may be extended to the public as I get better/more comfortable writing a villain. But I know it gets tedious to write/NPC your own antagonists all the time. So I’m hopeful people won’t look at him as “Ew a dark RPer. I’m going to avoid him,” but instead say,
“Oh someone who plays a villain! I wonder if he’d like to help me with my characters story?”
The second thing I have set up to help avoid a loss of RP for myself as a writer, Alts!! I’m currently working on a Death Knight character who is very near and dear to my heart. I rolled him back when WotLK was released and when I hit my raiding stride. He’s my first Tank, my first character to clear an expansion boss (Lich King) and all around a very sentimental character. I actually transferred him over from the old server to WrA with the intention of RPing him one day. So while Percival might hit road blocks, I have escape characters that I thoroughly enjoy enough to invest in Roleplay. I also have a Gnome Rogue, Pandaren Monk, and Human Noble for when I need a change of pace. Just like when I get bored of Tanking when I do PvE, I have DPS characters to keep the game fresh. Works in RP too!
So, with all that having been said. I know taking the villain road will be a struggle. But I’m hopeful people will see it as an opportunity for story development for their characters as well as mine as opposed to a ‘disruption’ to their stories. it’s my belief that a villain shouldn’t disrupt stories in a negative way but offer a challenge that promotes growth for all parties. So if you only want to engage in fluffy RP with parties and dances and happily ever after that’s awesome! Don’t talk to Percival lol. He’s happy to stay away from you because that’s not his scene anyway. Hell the only reason he’s gone to public events like that in the past is because a woman dragged him along. But if you want to put your muse through hell, or if you want to give your muse a challenge to potentially overcome, Percival will hopefully be home from Argus in the new year.
All in all. I’m not too worried about his future. Maybe I should be, but I’m invested in this direction. And I’m hopeful people will enjoy seeing what comes of it all. But for now, he has a demon planet to Conquer!
