Oh, I got my records request fulfilled, for what good it does me.  The PDF they sent is of... questionable readability.  It’s like they scanned a printout of a scan of a printout, but I got most of the important numbers, I think.

So the 3.3 was just the AHI.  Over the course of the night, there were a total of 22 obstructive apneas and 2 hypopneas, which just didn’t shake out to enough of them per hour to qualify as OSA.

There were *also*, however, 31 respiratory effort related arousals, for a RDI of 7.7

and combined with the 13 leg-movement arousals and other uncategorized spontaneous arousals, there were apparently 99 total arousals/wakes during the recording period.

yeah, no freakin’ wonder I’m tired.  On the one hand, I feel vindicated in obtaining the data, but on the other hand, I don’t know what I can do about it, since the doctor who interpreted my results apparently doesn’t believe those RERAs mattered (an RDI > 5 should be making you think of Upper Airway Resistance Syndrome, my dude) and and so I have to take this weird detour to the psychiatrist (who still hasn’t called me to schedule the intake appointment) to find other possible causes for the hypersomnia and hallucinations when UARS is just dangling right there in front of my face.
