I'm imagining Gael meeting my Hircine demiprince and like, all inherent shenanigans aside, the thing I'm getting stuck on is just:
Tumblr media
Big
Since Velanna's save doesnt have a canon Nerevarine or HoK or anything, and since I'm so dedicated to the ~mystery~ of when Gael came into existence, he could exist in anyone's playthrough of other TES games. Like you're off saving Cyrodiil and closing Oblivion gates and then there's some twink ass bosmer sitting on top of a tower in the Deadlands occasionally shooting daedra and he tells you to not tell his dad he's there. Or you're just walking through a town during the Planemeld and suddenly all the guards start chasing some wood elf in a hood with a glowing bow, yelling HOW MANY TIMES DO WE HAVE TO TEACH YOU THIS LESSON, DEMON?

💰 for Cassaril and ✨ for Piir'Ala? :)
💰 If your OC had all the money they could ask for what would they do with it? Where would they go and what would they buy? Are they the only one who benefits from this wealth?
Cassaril would take her kids and go retire back home in Valenwood. She would buy a nice home and dote on her kids until they left the nest, hiring good tutors for them and taking them to see the world as they grow up. She loves them dearly and wants what’s best for them.
✨ If your OC were a deity of some kind, what would they represent? What do they look like? How are they worshipped and what offerings would they expect? What are their places of worship like? Their followers? Their teachings?
So since Piir’Ala is a demiprince I’ve talked about this a couple times, but I guess something I never touched on is things like offerings and ritual spaces. Many if not most of his followers travel independently so that they can watch over large areas of land as a team, but this means they very rarely come together for worship or the like. When they do though, I picture it as a small village of tents dotted with shrines. Offerings are made in the form of supplies; extra arrows, uneaten food, armor that no longer fits, but the offerings are free for anyone to take. The thing that is being offered is not the object itself, but the act of compassion and support that is sharing what you have with those who need it.

Thinking more about Piir’Ala and I think,, he can sort of cure lycanthropy. Make it not as bad, at least.
His domain is pretty much the opposition to Hircine, the prey to Hircine’s predator, but they also respect one another and the balance between them. I mentioned before that lycanthropes won’t hurt Piir’Ala or his followers, but I think it goes further than that. If someone wishes to abandon the Hunt, and they can find Piir’Ala or his followers, they can take up his work instead. Hircine will give their soul over to Piir’Ala, who then returns it to them to do with as they wish. He can’t stop the transformations entirely, but the bloodlust goes away and they are able to maintain full awareness and self in their beast form. Basically, they just get big and hairy a few nights out of the month, but otherwise go on as normal.
So it’s sort of a trade off. A worshipper of Hircine can control their transformations and get extra strength and power with them, while a follower of Piir’Ala transforms with the moon, but the effects are mild and generally harmless outside of the physical shift. A lycanthrope who worships neither transforms with the moon and has the beast take over their mind like normal.
And since Piir’Ala doesn’t have a plane of oblivion, he doesn’t keep any claim on his follower’s souls after death. They’ll go to their rightful afterlife unless they truly want to continue with him as spirits on Nirn. It works in the other way as well, where if one of Piir’Ala’s charges decides they instead want the power and challenge of the hunt, Piir’Ala will allow them to go without protest, and their soul would go to Hircine.

Thinking about Piir'Ala having a little cult of his own,,
- They travel with him, effectively his "herd," though they stay spread out and are often able to watch over multiple dozen acres of forest at a time, and only truly come together for emergencies or special occasions
- They all wear antlers, everything from little two-pronged deer antlers to the giant antlers off moose and elk
- Few outside the cult know it exists, so when people see a horned individual in the woods they assume it to be Piir'Ala himself
- The longer one is his follower, the more wild animals trust them, to the point that followers of decades can virtually converse with them

ok i got over the Big, so please consider:
Gael: don’t tell dad I’m here
Piir’Ala: I haven’t spoken to him in like 300 years, so
-
Gael, up a tree or smth: just climb up here and you can see it
Piir’Ala, looking at his legs: I don’t know what makes you think I can climb
-
Piir’Ala: So you’re in trouble again?
Gael:

-
Gael: can I try your bow
