aella espinosa - i fixated on this woman for at least three years and hardly even thought about other ocs during the time. she'll always have a special place in my heart

willow lahey - she's probably my favorite character atm and tends to be my most constant source of seratonin lmao

carter blackwood - my recent obsession! currently reading the lockwood and co books to see how she'll fit into them, so that's been fun!

bay acker - took me years to come up with a riordanverse oc and boy, was it worth it. i love them. would die for them. need to gif celeste so i can make more edits as soon as possible

I recently finished watching His Dark Materials and and it made me think, if your ocs were in a world with Daemons, what would they be?

hi hello happy new year thank u SO much this is such a fun question i had to run away with it entirely, here's the first six ocs I thought of;

Bram Marwood — crow

an intelligent animal who's closely related to death and completely black? that's Bram. also he'd appreciate the practicality of an animal that can fly.

Dot Ripley — rabbit

they're cute, small, hyperactive, and not the most agile creatures in the world. Dot would have a daemon she could cuddle with and coo over, for sure.

Benny Bayford — german shepherd

not only is Benny loyal and sweet like a dog, but he's also fiercely protective and clever like a german shepherd.

Reo Kunsei — snow leopard

so snow leopards are not only solitary animals who avoid almost all contact, but they're also incredibly calculating and love observing their prey, much like Reo.

Oz Reynolds — weasel

weasels are clever, and just like Oz they're wonderful escape artists who can get themselves out of anything. Oz, too, loves to weasel his way out of sticky situations. also, they avoid human contact and have a mean bite.

Matty Ellis — wolverine

wolverines are small but deadly, oftentimes taking down animals over three times their size. just like Matty they're angry little things hiding in a deceptively cute small package.

Which of your ocs is most like you and in what way? - 🖤

all of my ocs are a little part of me I think! characters like Drew Sato and Kate Simmons and Matty Ellis and Cassie Lewis are the part of me that was an angry teenage girl with a desire to fight the whole world, and characters like Benny Bayford and Cricket Cheng are the part of me that just desires love and the feeling of belonging, while characters like Blue Alvar and Bram Marwood are a part of me that tends to feel alone and isolated. some ocs are very specific parts of me: Oz Reynolds who loves classic rock and cassettes, Camile L'Angevin whose favorite place in the world is a dusty bookstore, or Luke Greco whose favorite pastime is gossiping.

I think there is no one who is most like me, but I think I connect most with Benny. he's most of the good parts of me (and some of the bad) and I think his personality is most like mine. if you can even accurately assess your own personality like that.

mara’s endless oc list ⋆ Abraham ‘Bram’ Marwood

Bram Marwood was only nine years old when he committed his first murder. It was mere minutes after discovering that the man he had been raised to believe was his father turned out to not be his father at all, when Bram seemingly blacked out and woke up in a pool of his parents’ blood. Months after this, a mysterious blonde woman showed up at the foster home, claiming to be Bram’s distant relative and taking him away to her boarding school: Nevermore Academy.

A school for the outcasts and the strange, one would think Bram could fit right in. Principal Weems had thought as much. But Bram proved to be even more odd than the odd ones out — a half-demon with questionable lineage and even more questionable control over his powers. Bram quickly learned that keeping people at an arm’s length is safer, for everyone involved. That way, he got to stay out of trouble.

When Wednesday Addams arrived at Nevermore Academy, Bram felt she was going to be more trouble than he could handle. When people started showing up dead and Bram was the first person Wednesday accused of being the killer, he had his proof. It would be an understatement to say the two of them get off on the wrong foot, and they never seemed to find the right one. From seemingly flirting with Bram’s crush to accusing the same crush of being a murderer, Wednesday and Bram were anything but friends.

Still, the two odd teenagers would find that they need each other more than they would’ve ever liked to admit.
