Absolutely, he might seem a little bit sarcastic but I promise he's listening

He barely speaks so no, but unknown got in Bear's face and yeah let's just say he did swear.

No particular reason, but he wants a reason

He's hanging on your every word, he wants to know more, he's nodding his head, encouraging you. Even if he doesn't speak, he's listening.

Not as much as Erix, but he doesn't remember his first.

He might tease you a little, but he'll eventually calm down and listen. Of course he's supportive, he wants to make his friends happy, and he's happy to learn about whatever makes them happy.

Redraw of a specific character of mine, Crimson. This is the fourth time, and I aim to redraw her every other year.

For this one, I wanted to try going lineless. Didn't quite work, but I managed to use lighter/thinner lines.

Some of my old doodles with Morticians (and Newt - formaly he's a member of the Center). As you can see I was trying out some design ideas here

And now it's time for lore!

Crimson (skywing dragonet in the top left corner) as a baby dragonet was found by Varan in a destroyed village, so he remembers almost nothing about his life before the Scavengers. Little Crimson didn't spend much time with Center squad - after some incident he was transported to the Morticians under the pretext that he would be safer in such a peaceful and remote unit. Crimson sees Morticians as his family, and they think of him the same way) He's the same age as Salamander, so in the story he is 4-5 years old.

Parhelion (skywing-icewing hybrid in the middle of the top row) lived most of his life in the Skywing kingdom, but with the advent of war (and the escalation of tension between the skywings and icewings) he became the target of one of the anti-icewing groups and was exiled. Miraculously, he was found by the Scavengers, where Stargazer, who had already joined the gang, pached him up. By the way, he does not have fire or frostbreath - he is only capable of exhaling cold, harmless fog.

Irbis (icewing in the bottom left corner) and her brother deserted and joined the Scavengers, but were quickly sent to different squads - this was the only way to stop their constant squabbling and fighting. Interestingly, over the years her desire to rip her brother's head off finally subsided, and the last annual gang meeting even went without conflicts between the siblings. She mainly conducts scouting for the Morticians, protecting her team from clashes with soldiers and other dragons from the “outside” world.

Newt, like Stargazer, joined the gang of his own free will. Hybridity also changed the nature of his abilities - instead of the usual rainwing venom, he is able to secrete a substance that easily ignites by open fire. This property is actively used by Parhelion (in carrying out cremations), whom Newt provides with bottles of his “venom”

Also an introduction to other fellow misery-driven fish beings:

This is Sonata. She is Misty's mother (who is also the current "Marrow Queen"). She wasn't always an Atleas (wip name) although most of them usually weren't, but she didn't really chose to be a ruler, especially the ruler of ALL Atleases. As a matter of fact, Misty wasn't born an Atleas either, but she was had met Sonata before she turned.

And finally there's Crimison. She is a bodyguard and sister- like figure to Misty. She also wasn't born an Atleas, but she enjoys her new life. She has a quite... agressive way of fighting, so she is usually feared (it doesn't help that she has a way of showing her victories).

The previous inspiration from slashers (Specifically scream) is still there. but I’ve decided to add a angel/faller angel inspiration too!

I am gonna fuck around with the colours and design a bit before I finalize it.
