OC: Jocelyn Hugues Courtois.

Early-30s, French, lives in Paris.

Flight attendant; these days works on longer international flights (apparently with lax emotional support animals policies).

For work purposes he has perfected his bright-smiling skillz. In his life outside of work, though, this automatic bright smile tends to rather keep people at a distance, because it comes across as fake in social situations.

Has a big, strong bladder and never has problems 'holding it'. No, really. (>__>) Though the first time he meets his neighbour face-to-face is while he relentlessly drenches his pantalon on his way home.

Goes by the name Hugo at work, because on international flights he meets more people who think Jocelyn is a feminine name, while in France it is masculine.

Like all other characters I write, this man is lonely.

Jocelyn is from what I call the "Demoncat storyverse", in which an enterprising little astral entity, that (illegally!) ends up on our plane of existence, falls in love with the beautiful vibrational patterns made by an old music box 11-year-old Jocelyn made with his grandfather. In order to try to get closer to this wondrous contraption, the little demon enters the body of a sickly kitten, which will be adopted by Jocelyn's next-door neighbour -- who also happens to be lonely. -- Dang, what a coincidence. I wonder if that means something...
