sorry. but what do you mean the original version of the reconciliation between kant and bison (absolutely crucial to the arc of the show! we have to believe that kant is in love with bison and moreover we have to believe that bison believes that!) was two sentences long...

yes it's impressive and speaks to their talent as actors and their understanding of the characters (and i appreciate that jojo trusted them to go off script especially hearing how far off-script!) and i'm all for improvisation and actors contributing to the end result. but they shouldn't have to write or rewrite entire scenes in order for the audience to be able to correctly understand the characters and their relationship.

i would be interested to know what the original vision was (did it include kant saying he hadn't gotten to be truly himself? bison saying he gave him the chance to leave? kant pulling the gun to his own chest??) but fundamentally. the wound between kant and bison is deep; bison is incapable of killing him because he loves him but he also has no solid ground to rely on because — as far as bison knows — their entire relationship from the very beginning was built on a lie.

kant needs to convince him that it isn't, and yes obviously the whole episode leading up to the scene on the beach is part of that, but i do actually think we need that confession, after bison has given up trying to get some kind of pyrrhic revenge on kant, after he's admitted to himself and to kant both that he's not going to kill him. he needs to hear in that state that kant loves him, that kant liked being with him and making plans with him, that the lie hurt kant just as it hurt bison.

without that i do not think the scene would be as convincing. and this is a pivotal scene for the characters without which the back half of the show would simply fall apart....

I discovered Tony while watching Civil War but didn’t really had my coup de foudre yet.

It happened when my parents made me watch Far From Home. It actually was the way Peter mourned Tony that made me watch the Iron Man movies.

And then obviously I became obsessed with both of them.

I see myself a lot in Peter. Idk- just his way to talk, to move, to think. He’s just… so me. The Peter most people write in Starker fics also makes me think a lot of myself.

Tony makes me think of myself by his irony, self degradation skills, alcoholism, panic attacks, little depressing stuff that makes me identify to him.

Nop, not since I started worshipping them, Im the worst. They still make me feel at home.

26 - What's something the character has done that you can't get over?

Had to dig through my discord dms to find this message because it's the origin point of my laser focus on the bitch that is Viktor Arcane. So yes, at first I think his overall audacity and attitude really grabbed me. When I write for him I get to construct ridiculous sentences like "yes, god forbid I engage in some well earned faggotry".

But I think the one thing I can't get over is that Viktor does give a shit. He gives so many shits in all the ways a human living with other humans does. His outward indifference to himself had me so convinced that part way through s2 I was struggling with the idea of his distaste for his own body being in-character. The sweater-vested stick bug of a man fuckin tricked me. He got me.

It was to the point that I felt, in the final scene, that Jayce's lines about imperfection were out of place (and they sort of are, in the same way a lot of the show's conclusion is a ways to the left of where it should be). But I've come around to it. In conclusion, the thing I cannot get over about Viktor Arcane is that he's a person with feelings.

8 - What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?

Despise is a strong word, but oh god, so a couple things about Jayce Talis:

1) Let's start with a petty one. I saw a metapost about it a while back and I think it's correct. Red, white, and gold are not the Talis house colours. In fact, I'm unsure if any of the Piltover merchant families have specific house colours. Cait's parents have consistent splashes of blue, but I think that's to better tie them to her and her Enforcer uniform.

Mind you, I could be wrong, but red, white, and gold would then also be Salo's house colours. Hoskel's would be very similar as well. Red, white, gold, and some dark blue are more just visual-medium-colour-language for Piltover Council. I get why people want him to have house colours, for trope purposes, but I don't think it's real.

Also, there is significance in Jayce donning these colours more prominently in late s1 and losing them in s2, and I don't think the meaning would read as clearly if they stood in for his house. Speaking of his house...

2) Jayce is not upper class. And I feel that throughout his life House Talis has oscillated between lower-middle and upper-middle.

What needs to be understood about Piltover (and Zaun too, to an extent) is that it's plutocratic. The houses are families, yes, but they're merchant families. There's no noble blood, no security without wealth or industry. Conversely, those with a hand in commerce are conferred status. The fact that Talis is a house, even a lower house, means a lot less than one might assume. They're just a business. At least, IMO that's where the misconception is coming from.

3) Others have said it already and I don't see it as much as I used to, but I'll say it again: the bitch is smart. I know, what an injustice that he's handsome and charismatic and athletic and intelligent too. That's just the autism difference; I don't make the rules (user luceninferno's fic turned me to the idea of AuDHD Jayce and they're very correct). He has some blind spots in his judgement, obviously, like, do not put this man in a situation, but we gotta let him be a little smarty pants sometimes.new

My friend summed up his main flaw pretty well as being a combination of impulsively acting with his heart and getting used to the universe's tendency to bail him out. Wizard saves him, mom saves him at the trial, Viktor interrupts his jump, Mel lets him off easy then vouches for him. In his mind there is no situation that cannot be fixed by a hero, and he wants to be that hero for people. Fuckin' look at his little kid drawing of himself.

So it's this very specific naivete that fucks him over, a worldview that I think would contrast really well with Viktor's Zaun-grown desire to help others through more impersonal change if that were made more explicit. I cite this naivete as a reason why mage!Vik was throwing him pity lizards instead of just getting him out of the pit. It's the fact he doesn't get saved that's important. Anyways, it's this naivete that gets mistaken for stupid idiot bitch syndrome.

5 - What's the first song that comes to mind when you think about them?

For anyone who read this far but doesn't know, Callista is my caitvi fankid from my main fic butterfly soup.

Real first song I think of is Waterloo by ABBA, but that's more of an overall fic song. Runners up are Ultra Modern Girl by Chappell Roan, maybe also Pink Pony Club. Also Graves by CHVRCHES.

Unless asked for, I will be writing with the Female!reader in mind (I like to exclude any gender relation and make it so that both genders could read and enjoy).

The maximum number of request you can send is 2. I know there is an option to send them in anonymously, but I really hope you will stick to this rule. Give others a chance to submit their wishes, and don’t make the line too big with by mass requesting (I close requests after I get around 30 requests).

Requests sent during seasons I have not watched or for characters that have yet to make an appearance in the show will not be written (exceptions exist).

I write one-shots but not a whole series unless I can see/want a continuation.

Themed requests (Christmas, Valentine's Day, New Year etc.) can be only sent during that time. I don’t accept Christmas requests during the month of May. The same goes for the rest.

I have every right to delete every request that does not fit within the rules stated above, or I feel uncomfortable writing. Also, it’s important to note that I don’t have inspiration to write every request that’s sent. It’s normal to not have inspiration, and because I prefer quality to quantity, if I see that I don’t have inspiration for a request then I will not write it.
