I've had like three ppl over on my whump blog come into my DMs and barely say hi before they start ranting abt their OCs and imma be real chat. it's annoying as shit

I'm not mean bc I'm guessing they're kids, but I don't Know these ppl and just bc I make posts that happen to fit their little creatures or blorbos doesn't mean I automatically understand what's going on !! and the past two times, once they're done talking they just end the conversation and never speak to me again. LIKE?? IM NOT A WALKING INFO DUMP HELLO??

at first I tried to act invested but like. it got tired real quick. but also I know it'd be awkward telling them that I'm not interested. now that I think abt it maybe I should just lock DMs over on that blog
