Okay the thing about c!Scott that is very influential to my perception of him is that I don't think he's ever considered that he may be suicidal. Yes he has killed himself multiple times. But in his mind, it was just strategic. He did it to win or gain something. The idea that maybe this is a problem has honestly never occurred to him. He strictly views it as a thing he did to win or for The Greater Good.

This is how he views any of his irrational or emotional behaviors. No, he didn't leave Pearl because he was upset, he left her because it was the Objectively Correct thing to do. He's not doing the axe crit because he's upset and hurt, he's being totally strategic and just having fun, this has nothing to do with his own feelings. The relationship ranch is definitely about wanting the others to not be stuck with their soulmates and about wanting to have fun causing chaos. He is not even slightly hurt, he is completely fine and handling everything clear-headed. I don't think he's ever really considered that maybe he's upset about what happened, or that he's being irrational, or that he's treating people horribly.

He doesn't view any of his concerning or incredibly fucked up behaviors as him having problems or being an asshole. He views them as the only rational response to the situation. Well obviously he wasn't going to let Pearl kill him, of course he killed himself. Well obviously if Jimmy's not with him now, he doesn't need to treat him like it. Well obviously if people hurt him, they're either Evil or Stupid.
