“Today Alexander opened his baptism gift from the Duchy of Södermanland. It is an accessibility-oriented viewpoint, which is very beautifully situated at Gijsjön in Nynä Nature Reserve. A baptismal gift that will delight both our family and all other visitors!” Prinsparet on Instagram 23 August 2018

Note
do we know what will Prince Alexander do tomorrow during his duchy visit ?
Yes indeed! He’s going to see his baptismal gift. That’s what Leonore and Estelle were doing in their Duchies too. He’ll be at Nynä Nature Reserve to see a path and a viewpoint which are named after him. Can’t wait!

The Swedish Cousins ~ Duchies
Prince Alexander was born in 2016. He was given the Duchy of Södermanland. For his christening he was gifted with a path and a viewpoint in Nynäs nature reserve, but also a children’s book about birds and one about butterflies from Sörmland. He will probably make his first official visit there when he is two.

Sweden Royal Family IN PICTURES: Prince Alexander, 2, pulls ribbon on FIRST engagement The toddler, who is the Duke of Södermanland, made his royal debut by pulling a green ribbon to open ‘Prince Alexander’s Viewpoint’. The beauty spot was given to the two-year-old as a gift to mark his baptism by Södermanland County. After the young prince accomplished his royal task, he enjoyed being given a tour of the local area. Conservations were on hand to give him information about the unique environment and wild life inhabiting the 8070 Acres of the Nynäs Nature Reserve.
