Never thought I would come back to the learning blocks community but I got this burst of inspiration while in class today particularly about making my own version of the number blocks as their negative versions. I wanna call then Negative Numberblocks. Or Negativeblocks? You can decide in the comments or replies.

Negative One (Owen):

Age: 21

Gender: Male (He/They)

- He’s a former singer and actor in a theatre studio.

- Probably the leader of the first five negative numberblocks because of his kinda bossy attitude

- Sort of a bully

- Negative Two (Trinity)’s boy best friend

Negative Two (Trinity)

Age: 20

Gender: Female (She/They)

- Ballerina

- Was born to wealthy parents making her possibly spoiled

- Is kind of a bully

- Negative One (Owen)’s girl best friend

Negative Three (Thomas/Tommy)

Age: 24

Gender: Demi Male (He/They)

- An actor on the run from the theatre/in hiding

- A cowardly person/has PTSD from his abusive boss

- Hates some form of physical touch

Negative Four (Feminy/Fie)

Age: 25

Gender: Female (she/her)

- A librarian/retired actress (quit her job after a year of working)

- Hates Squares

- Mildly strict

Negative Five (Fenrir)

Age: 18

Gender: Trans male (He/They)

- An emo person

- Secretly a singer of a band

- College dropout

- Has a good and soulful singing voice

Negative Six (Sebastian)

Age: 29

Gender: Male (He/Him)

- Casino dealer (sometimes lures people in an alleyway so they can try his gambling game)

- Married to Negative Eight (Emberlynn)

- A very mysterious individual (possibly a vampire)

Aaaand here’s some headcanons about the negative numbers:

1. Many of them are meaner than the positive number blocks, seeing the ones we have seen in the canon show as pushovers

2. They’re like the rejected cast if there had been an earlier 2000s version of Numberblocks or a cartoon for most older audiences to learn how negative numbers work - the first episode and the whole first season was a flop, so they have been shoved aside.

3. They do have vintage designs! I hope to maybe make some vintage versions!

4. They speak mainly BSL (British Sign Language) and have voiceovers for these though they do have voices and can make some audible sounds like a “Psst!” Or anything else you can think of.

5. Some of them despise the Numberblocks who aren’t negative numbers except for Zero because she’s neither a negative or positive number.
