kicks my feet giggling into the palm of my hand i am going to have a job next semester... im actually going to have a fucking job next semester
#and the job is doing research!!! with a professor i like!!!#now obviously because That's the Job and theres only so much department funding i am not oging to get as much money#as i think i could were i to be working a standard job. i am getting paid above minimum wage here but i have like a cap on what i can make#however that is so much better than me having spent the literal last year and a half not making any money at all and just spending#so i'm like. so excited. like so genuinely insanely fucking crazy excited#i also LOVE this professor because she's like really intimidating? because she's so intelligent. but also extremely kind and generous#i do want to do research w another professor next semester who seems a lot more chill though also insanely intimidating#but if i'm going to have like a boss i am glad it is her#excited to finish this stupid final that starts in 30 minutes and then call my mama and tell her the good news :]#(technically i still have to confirm it but i think the only thing stopping this from happening is that-#-i have not technically confirmed it. even though like. she knows LOL)
