Honestly, it's pretty much the same for me. I'm big on collecting things too, mostly books and jewellery and the occasional kitschy antique I stumble upon at my local thrift. I also sleep a lot (but always at weird times) because my brain keeps me up at night whirring about the most random nonsensical things.

I like to think that Simon sort of takes charge of he and nerdy!readers relationship when they're working on a big research project because they just entirely forget how to function. I'm talking hoisting them over his shoulder to get to bed, plugging in their laptop so it's fully charged in the morning. He asks them questions about their interests just so that he gets the opportunity to shove a granola bar or some berries into their open mouth, otherwise they'll get so focussed they forget to eat. He'll drag them to the gym or on a walk with him just so that they can get some fresh air and exercise, because sitting at a desk for all hours of the day for weeks isn't healthy, despite how much they try and convince him it is.

Honestly? I also think that Simon would be super pro his partner getting a pet. He's down to do basically anything that will give them a break from freaking out over their studies, and he'd really like them to have some company when he's away on deployment, so at least if they don't leave the house, they won't be entirely alone.

TVD S7 Thoughts

Ok so I binge-watched S7 in like three days and I have thoughts, I wanna talk about it

Lily OMG ughhhh, just...did not like her. Imagine being Damon and Stefan - you think your mom dies, oops she's actually a vampire. She becomes a ripper, goes on a ripper binge through Europe and in the meantime finds a whole new family.

I too would be pissed if my mom abandoned me and then had other children and never looked for me again. I know she did visit them once in the beginning and the bloodlust scared her away but like, she could've tried again some time after that or something.

The Heretics annoyed the hell out of me. Most of them were useless and died quickly (Malcolm, Oscar). Beau does nothing really. It's mostly the female Heretics who have the spotlight.

Valerie was sooo...idk weird to me? Her being Stefan's first and getting pregnant and then Julian beating her until she lost the baby was wild I did not see that coming. And I think she was fine as a long-lost love, but her relationship with Stefan in the present timeline did nothing for me.

She was obviously insecure about Caroline and Stefan. She was stuck in the prison world for over a century but did she really think she and Stefan would just be able to get back together? Idk. She did help with birthing the twins so that was nice of her.

Mary Lou and Nora annoyed me so much in the beginning but I grew to like them by the end and I did feel bad for them when that exploded in that car

The time skips and flash-forwards were confusing and annoying and I didn't like them at all idk why they did them

Enzo my love! I like him better this season. Love the new hair lol.

He and Bonnie were cute. I like the progress Bonnie made through the show of her hating vampires and now she's dating one lol

Reyna Cruz, where do I begin? No offense to the actress but I feel like they should've gotten someone a bit more muscular? A bit taller or bigger? I know she has superhuman strength and all but she was not scary whatsoever. But apparently, even Klaus was afraid of her so what do I know?

Caroline and Alaric....uhmmm yeah...that was a thing that happened. Did he really need to propose to her? I know it makes raising the kids easier but like c'mon. Ric falling in love with Caroline was just yucky!

Matt suddenly being so anti-vampire makes no sense but also makes total sense? On one hand, it's like, dude you've been helping them and have been friends with them for years, and now all of a sudden you are against them.

On the other hand, I guess you can say it was boiling inside Matt for a while and it all came to the surface. Also, did the writers really need to have him kill his own fiance? That was so cruel like damn!

Another thing on Enzo, his thing with Lily was soooo...like why? I just- I- NO! I can't put it into words how much it weirded me out.

Julian, hmmm. It seemed like he actually did care for the heretics so that was nice. Also, I have to say, wonderful acting. Idk who played him but I really enjoyed his performance.

I did enjoy seeing Klaus even if for a few minutes. I also watched the crossover ep of TO where Stefan is in New Orleans. Did I know what was going on? No, not really, but I like that Stefan did a little side quest lol. Not Hayley remembering she snapped Caroline's neck once lmao

Love that Stefan got to meet Freya and Marcel that was so cool.

I just remembered the Armory, I don't know what to say. I know the Sirens were in that vault, so I guess that's in the next season? I wonder how ridiculous s8 will be?

Overall, felt very meh about it. I still think that S 1-3 are superior and everything after that went downhill. But it was still better than S5.

The best part of the episode was the 5 minutes we spent with Ash and Pikachu before the stupid Latias appeared. Add that one to the pokemon I now hate because of the anime..

Man, I'm still bitter those 10 episodes weren't focused on Ash and his Pokemon only. It would've been the absolute best way to use those 10 episodes (and still reach the same conclusion Mezamas as it is reached), why couldn't Ash ever be alone with his mons? He can be enjoyable if the writers tried. Sigh

At least Buizel is here ♥ Also it was adorable to see Noivern and Sceptile in security duty while everyone else slept! Babies! However I'm sad Buizel and Donphan didn't go to cuddle with AshPika and Latias ù3ú

What was the point of all the drama about "Ash's pokemon not being able to attack TR because it could hurt him" when... Pikachu just went and... did just that? (also, Noivern going there and breaking the glass would've hurt Ash less??????) I get they needed "Ash suicidal tendencies make him likeable" moment but gosh, it could've been done better, for sure.

And you know, mandatory Dawn mention, but it's kinda poetic that both Ash and Dawn got done dirty in their final moments because of some stupid legendaries. They're trully one and the same. Even in shitty writing decisions from anipoke staff LMAO

Satoshi VS Kasumi! Seaside One-on-One!!

I know that Misty's metaphor about how her and Clauncher are meant to be is an obvious Pokeshipping hint, of course it is! I know that! but...

Not to sound like a conspiracy theorist but the fact Pikachu ignored Psyduck for Misty, and Clauncher didn't seem at all to reciprocate Misty's feelings is... interesting... Added to that how Ash just replaced her lure with Cilan's is.. Almost like adding to her own metaphor, that while Misty still has feelings for Ash and believes that they're meant to be, because of fate, because she is the "OG twerpette" like TR called her, Ash himself is like.. Pikachu to Psyduck and Clauncher to her. Neutral at most, and with someone else having their favoritism.

And y´know, it's even more interesting that at the beggining of Sinnoh Ash still had her lure (and was protective of it) and immediately after Sinnoh he changed her lure for Cilan's. I sure wonder what happened between those events for him- It's Dawn! its Dawn that happened!

Shipping aside, I adore seeing episodes with the general same plot but with different characters. Compare this to the Buneary catch and it's really interesting to see just how different Ash acts with Misty and Dawn about the same thing. Him and Misty have a battle about who is gonna get it, which does makes sense, they will resolve all their arguments with battles instead of actual talking and I adore that trait of their relationship~

And even Misty's disappointment at the end, that Clauncher still likes hanging with Corphish is very different than Dawn bringing up her closeness with Ash to win Buneary over. I love those sort of similar episodes, it's great to understand how each character thinks.

Gosh, even comparing to Totodile's catch shows how Misty and Ash themselves have become closer and more understanding of eachother! In here they make rules about how to catch Clauncher instead of fighting the whole time, it's a nice showcase of how they've grown! I'm just sad that Totodile was in this episode and no one mentioned the similarities :T

Also I will never get tired of Pikachu's "Pikachupi"! Ikue Otani does it in the cutest voice and I just want to squeeze the rat's cheeks every time he says it!!!

Speaking of Pikachu, I love that at the very least in those 10 episodes he went back to having some hint of a personality since he hadn't shown much of it for... a long time before it (and remembered the names of the people he cares for. I was so angry at the lack of "Pikapi" in Alola).

Same goes for TR, is nice to see their motto being animated instead of some re-used footage. One of the things that made their apparitions enjoyable in OG-DP was that they always added some personality to it. That was fun to see again.

Oop Five Nights At Freddie's fanart. Who would've thunk it. I've never considered myself a huge Fnaf fan but Security Breach, flaws and all, I adore the setting and the characters in that one and I'm in too deep. I've never played it (or any Fnaf game) because fuck that, I'm a coward and too much of an anxiety ridden mess to deal with jump scares and chase scenes, but I do love watching let's plays.

I am hopelessly OBSESSED with these two right now. Have been for a while but I've been trying to resist getting too attached because I already have so many fandoms and characters to hyper-fixate on... and then the Ruin DLC happened and gave me tons of feels and my obsession with them turned nuclear, resistance was futile and now here we are lol. I have accepted my fate.

I've also been binge reading Solar Lunacy by @bamsara which... y'know, didn't help because that's been keeping me up at night lmao. Had me mad cackling at 2:30am more than once. My sleep schedule is ruined :') BUT THAT'S OKAY. Will probably end up doing some fanart for that too at some point >>; Too many good scenes~

ANYWAY. Never drawn them before, this is just a quick and somewhat messy doodle to see if I can even draw 'em decently and get comfortable with it because this is not an art style I'm very familiar with. The Daycare boys lend themselves well for a more cartoony style which... is not something I do usually. But it was fun! For a first attempt I'm happy with it. I really enjoy drawing them (especially the gremlin on the right).

I will definitely develop my take on them more, there's a few things I do wanna change in how I draw them and I have tons of ideas now, which is good because this artblock is killing meeeeeeeeeeee. I don't think I've 100% gotten Sunday's character down, so I haven't written anything properly, BUT

I'm a cold person- like physically lmao, I wear a sweater in 80°F so when winter comes around I'm FREEZING. when Sunday works, I cuddle up in his lap~ I move a little too much cause I have trouble sitting still until I focus on something so he lets me play with his wings while he works 🥰🥰

Honestly- my hands are too cold for his wings but he doesn't complain much 🫶 sometimes he holds my hands in his until they're warm, then I can play with the feathers again.

Had the hardest time convincing him that I can clean his wings properly- I HAVE EXPERIENCE I SWEAR- I've had a bird half my life, so I can handle him nicely~ I love preening his wings with him, and even though he doesn't say he likes it I know he quietly does

I LOVE when he bundles me up in his wings outside. He's so warm all the time~

He got me some nice warm gloves with those heated packet thingies, so sweet~ my fingers aren't cold in the snow anymore!

Oh oh‐ I hate to admit that I've got terrible mood swings NOT just on my period (it's just so much worse during that week 🫤) so I'll be like perfectly happy and suddenly wanna cry and the way he holds me is so nice. He'll wrap his arms around me, tuck my face into his chest and we just sit there. I don't really like talking when I'm crying cause it tends to make it worse. He knows that so we just sit quietly until I've calmed down 😭🫶

I like to calm him down by running my fingers through his wings and hair, letting him lay in my lap, he's so stressed all the time, taking care of everything and everyone. Gosh, if he'd let me, I'd pull him out of work for a whole week so we can just snuggle and binge junk tv~

We were watching Robin's concert and- don't tell anyone, but I think I saw some tears. I like to get him his sister's merch for gifts. He LOVED the keychain I got him! I haven't seen it off of his bag since~

Mr. Perfect tried to reassure me that I'm so pretty, but gurl- without being all dolled up, I look like I'm homeless next to him 😭 I have to make myself look nice and pretty for just a trip to the store so I match with him 😮‍💨

I hate taking my makeup off so much, but Sunday does it for me sometimes. I think he's helped Robin take her makeup off too, cause he's so gentle but he gets it all off!

I took him on a shopping date- I said I was gonna pay, but he bought practically everything. Only when I told him off he let me pay for drinks- JUST the drinks! I was trying to treat him 😓

When we go to sleep, he likes to tuck me under his wing to hold me close, those ones are more sensitive, always being tucked under his coat.. I get the special privilege of being the only one besides himself to touch and clean them 🤭

He's a really quiet sleeper, but here's another thing you can't tell him! When he dreams, he chirps like a little finch 🥰🥰
