I just got out my christmas lights and they're all broken. 4 strings and they're just toast. Tragic.
#not to sound old but#last year we bought a bunch of lights and half of the strings were broken by christmas#clearly they're making them as cheaply as possible so they can sell them at walmart/target prices#(with poorly paid workers in china i know)#but like#the thought of all these things being made to be flimsy and disposable#i hate it#but now i need to buy more christmas lights ...#i was feeling very festive#now I'm faced with the unsettling and unsustainable house of cards that is our economy#time for another cup of coffee lmao
