shiba taiju and headcanons of living with his lover in the years that follow the christmas incident. he’s gotten soft, reluctantly.

☆ Shiba Taiju has been a whole lot more calm after he got his ass kicked but he isn’t exactly a pacifist either. So I think one of the reasons you’ll fall in love with him is because of his strength.

☆ One thing you won’t be afraid of as his s/o, is getting targeted or beat up because he would protect and fight for you.

☆ Despite his once violent nature years ago, I think Taiju would be gentle with his s/o, having learned his lesson from the past.

☆ He wouldn’t be like those super careful boyfriends who would be scared of touching you because you’re “fragile”, but he would make sure that he isn’t gripping on you too tightly when he’s holding your hand or you’re being intimate.

☆ Taiju doesn’t like talking about his past but he’ll tell you if you ask. After telling you, he’ll start brooding that you’ll leave him. You obviously don’t end up leaving.

☆ He doesn’t like fighting with you. He doesn’t like arguments, period. He fears that it’ll get physical and Taiju does not like getting physical, he does not like hurting you. (But the two of you end up bickering playfully over the smallest of things every now and then. It isn’t that serious, just small pushing.)

☆ I think Taiju would love it if you trace his tattoos and he’ll tell you stories about how he got them or where he even got them.

☆ On dates, it would usually be restaurant dates or stolls where he holds your hand and offers to buy you ice cream. He’ll take you out shopping every now and then as well, and will carry your bags.

☆ He has an opinion on your clothes. “Too big”, “too small”, “it’s too short”, “do you have a boyfriend or not? Why would you wear that?".

☆ Surprisingly, he’ll comply if you want pictures. A lot of you have pictures together. Since he’s taller and has longer reach, he’ll usually be the one holding the camera.

☆ You definitely taught him how to take .5 pictures. He still doesn’t get the charm of it but as long as it makes you happy.

☆ I think you’ll be living together. Taiju is a very practical man. Why waste money on travel everyday going to and from each other’s houses when you can live together?

☆ He’ll clean while you cook. It is not interchangeable. The two of you almost lost your home when he tried to cook which is ironic because he owns a restaurant. He gets better though. Now, he cooks better than you do.

☆ It’s not actually a house but rather a high-class apartment in one of the complexes in the city. You both have to agree on monochrome colors. “Why would you want white? It gets dirty easily!” There will be a lot of bickering included in this one. But as time passes, it grows on you (the bickering I mean, the interior design is still a whole ‘nother topic).

☆ MOVIE NIGHTS!!

☆  When he doesn’t have to go to his job and you’re free, it’ll be movie marathons. You tried Harry Potter once and Taiju only heard about it in passing. He was seething on everyone’s idiocy (What kind of monster is in the Chamber of Secrets—when Slytherin’s mascot is a goddamn snake? A fucking chihuaha???).

☆ When you’re upset, he’ll talk calmly at first before getting pissed at whatever made you upset.

☆ I think he won’t exactly be informed of who your friends are. All he knows is that you’re happy with them and that’s enough for him. So, no jealousy or possessiveness here.

☆ In return, you’re not exactly close with the people he frequently hangs out with either. If he does hang out with anyone.

☆ Taiju will often share stories about Black Dragon in passing but not that much. It’s usually random and it needs a trigger for him to remember (read: “Oh that... Inupi, the kid that dragged me to Black Dragon, liked that too. He got this scar on his face. I heard it was because of when his house burned down. Now that I think about it... poor kid... It doesn’t change the fact that he’s a fucking idiot though.”)

☆ When he starts talking about his younger days (just a few years prior, not that long), it doesn’t last long and he stops immediately. You have to pry for more information. 

“But why does Koko follow Inupi?”

“How the hell would I know? Those two had always been weird.”

☆ Taiju does not have pictures of his former members and he’s not that well in describing other people either. You have to live with imagining the people he talks about.

☆ If something happens to him (old grudges and all), he made sure to leave a note in his drawer about where you can go in case these people from his past targets you too. He’s confident he’ll win even if he hasn’t fought in a long time but Taiju had matured and learned these past few years and one thing he realized is that there’s nothing wrong with being prepared.

☆ He isn’t a cuddler but he likes it when you stay by his side whenever you’re together. Sometimes, you’ll be attached hip-to-hip without realizing.

☆ When he kisses you, it’s usually long and passionate. He doesn’t always kiss you, but when he does, it’ll be hard bringing the air back in your lungs after the kiss.

☆ Taiju cuts his own hair (which is surprising) but after the two of you started living together, you were the one who took up the job to cut his hair. He’s actually an amazing hairstylist and he cuts your hair.

☆ Will judge you for fun. (With the eyebrows raised and all that.) “Why would you do that?”, “Aren’t you embarrassed, goddamn…”, “...No way.”

☆ He’s a whole lot more carefree with you and his smiles are often. He doesn’t always smile in the pictures you take though. Smiles are for the very moment, it’s not something you can keep in a picture and reminisce about. Plus, what’s the point of having to capture his smile when he’ll smile if you ask him to?

☆ Being with Taiju means that there’s a lot of reluctant affection and a whole lot of dry bickering. He doesn’t always tell you he loves you but he makes sure it’s obvious with how he takes care of you.

Ugh, the fact that Jaune and Neptune are such obvious Author Inserts frustrates me to no end.

Like, I want to like Jaune so bad. Wants to uphold his family’s legacy? Cool! Buttmonkey who understands that he’s a buttmonkey and wants to be an actual asset to his friends? Neat! Leader with healing powers? Love the subversion! Gender non-conforming? Relateable!

But MY GOD, does he not get perpetually forced into the main character role OVER and OVER and OVER. He gets a whole arc before one of the main characters. He gets no consequences for faking transcripts to a school where he could die. He harassed Weiss for two seasons. His toxic masculinity arc is so useless and doesn’t address how the writers still write it into their show. Pyrrha’s in love with him for reasons that don’t make sense. He gets to mourn his not-girlfriend, even though it should affect the rest of his team too, and RUBY saw her die. He gets Cinder’s focus in Season 5, even though she’s supposed to be RUBY’s rival. And now he’s gone and killed Penny, he’s in Wonderland Madagascar, there are headcanons that he’s the Knight-looking guy, he’s apparently found himself with Team RWBY in Weiss’s head in Ice Queendom, and I just. How many times am I supposed to watch this White Boy Isekai Character bumble around the franchise, sucking up character development like a black hole?

And Neptune. I - like a good chunk of his fans, it seems - did not like him at first when he first showed up on screen. I thought he would be that guy, who just shows up randomly and gets the attention of the prettiest girl, and fucks about and does nothing (and he was).

But after reading [well-written] fanfiction about him, and upon further reflection, he warmed up to me. He is dork. He is much dork. His cringe-fail personality is anxiously shielded by an ever thinning veneer of bravado and “popularity” and it’s amusing to me. I relate to that. And I understand why not everyone likes him, because he also took up so much space in the show, had a romantic arc that went nowhere, and generally had little to no contribution to the narrative for the two seasons and one episode that he was in. He was literally just there to make Jaune feel inadequate and be Sun’s sidekick and it really shows. His constant flirting is also off-putting, though that may just be a me thing.

And it’s such a shame, because they could have been such interesting characters. But because the creators were unprofessional and wish fufill-y about it (remember how they were both flirting with Weiss for half a season?), they’re both just unlikeable in execution.

Neptune isn't as big of a deal to me just because he really is a minor character that ultimately doesn't serve a whole lot outside of being Sun's teammate, and getting some scenes in connection to Weiss. Once we left Beacon, he really took a backseat so there's nothing I really can drag him for besides just being a character I have no interest in.

But Jaune is a whole 'nother story. After V8 and this anime, I literally hate this stupid twink.

I need spoilers for episodes 5 and 6. They've got to be out there. I can't take two more weeks of this.

I think what's giving me this vaguely ill feeling, right now, is the sinking realization that there was no grander plan behind Loki's getting drunk, breaking the Timepad, just general kinda incompetent behavior. There were theories and there were hints and subtext and it amounted to nothing.

Basically I'm getting major "that opening scene in IW was just too full of holes, the-sun-will-shine-on-us-again, one little dagger, Loki has to have something up his sleeve - oh .... no, no he's really dead, there was no greater plan" flashbacks.

It's so incredibly frustrating for Loki's narrative to come so close to something profound, again and again, only to swing and miss at the last second. The pieces are there. The threads are there. And tptb keep choosing to just ... sit on them, bc idk, it's easier for Loki's complexity to remain unexplored?

Tom says that episodes 4 and 5 are where the series takes off and I'm just like, you can't wait until the second to last episodes to have something happen! You've been dropping breadcrumbs since episode 1 - episodes 4 and 5 are where you start to sweep them up! You've only got 6 total!

Also, I was really interpreting Loki having confused friendship with romance, bc that's what makes the most sense for his character but then there was this, and the aforementioned 'oh so this really is just surface-level material and I shouldn't even waste my time examining the subtext and context clues' feeling occurs. (Note - this article isn't overly flattering to Loki, bc of course it isn't, so just be aware of that before reading.)

So, yeah, it's just - it's not exactly the content of this episode that has me so upset. I can live with bad plots and dangling threads. Lord knows I tolerate other, arguably much more terrible tv shows for the sake of the parts I like (Reign, Once Upon a Time, a few seasons of Pretty Little Liars, just to name a few).

It's not the content. It's the refusal of tptb to take Loki's character to the depths he deserves, especially since they promised us that this series would really explore his identity and his gender and all of these things that the fandom mostly has wanted. It's frustration in the overall way the surface-level plot makes Loki's characterization suffer. And it's definitely the trigger of those feelings of heartbreak and fury and denial and grief that followed IW. I practically have ptsd from that death scene.

(I realize that these are hefty words to use to describe one's reaction to fiction, especially in the sense that an emotional downward spiral is being legitimately triggered by a tv show, but - look, everyone already knew I was cringe, okay, so leave me alone with my feelings.)

I think that if the show had more episodes, there would have been hope for it? Like all the breadcrumbs that have been dropped implied lots of fascinating things to be explored, but they just didn't have room to explore them as thoroughly as they'd need to in order for all of it to have an impact. Loki/Sylvie does not feel earned. Mobius turned on the TVA super quickly (so did B-15, for that matter). Ravonna went from kinda sus to outright villain in, like, ten minutes. And Loki and Mobius's friendship didn't exactly come out of nowhere, bc it was set up as the outcome from the first episode (in my opinion) but it did happen much too quickly. It wasn't earned, either. And the reason I'm harping on this is because these are all really good character journeys that could have been done so much better - yeah, even Loki/Sylvie - if they had just paced them better, used more of their own subtext, and had a few more episodes in which to develop the characters alongside the complicated plot.

(Yeah, there may be a season 2, but I'm not here for waiting a whole nother year or so for it to be filmed, produced, and released only for it to continue to ultimately not meet my expectations.)

So, yes. I'm sorry for the negativity; I realize I went from "hey I mostly liked this! It wasn't that bad!" to "I will ragequit and kill everyone in this story and then myself" in, like, a few hours but - well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'll most likely rewatch it again tonight. I may or may not cry it out and then do my best to enjoy the remaining two episodes for what they are, not for what they could or might be. Once the rawness of all of this fades, I'll focus on the things I liked and come up with my own headcanons, I suppose. Or maybe I'll overall change my mind again. Idk. Whatever. I just need a glass of wine and a few more xanax tbh. (Great. Now fiction is going to give me a drug problem as well lmfao.)

Also - it is actualy really, really funny that, if you think about it, it turns out that a fanfic by Tom isn't actually all that good. (I'm being facetious, but the general sentiment is true.) I'm sorry, Tom. I know you're excited about this and you said this episode was your favorite, so I hope you don't see some of these reactions (either here, or on twitter, or reddit, or wherever he may end up) and feel bad about yourself/your project. I guess there's just no universal cup of tea for everybody.

So my partner is amazing and let's me ramble about RE to them whenever I want to, and even sat down to watch Vendetta with me when I bought it, so the other day I was like explaining Leon and Chris' characters (bc my partner knows how much I love them both lmao so of course that's what I was talking about), and we have both come to the conclusion that Leon is a bisexual disaster, and Chris is a homosexual. The running joke is that Leon is also just generally a whore, out there living his best life, and Chris is the kind of gay guy who no one expects to be gay bc of stereotypes and his habit of never really talking about himself, but he also was never really in the closet about it, so he's surprised whenever people are surprised to learn that he's gay lolol but in all seriousness Leon is not only bisexual, but he's the type to fall in love easily despite all of his background and trauma related to betrayal, so his heart is almost continually broken, either bc he's betrayed or he loses whoever it is he's found himself in love with (and sometimes both i.e. Krauser, and Ada at the end of RE2), either through death or just leaving bc he knows he can't stay/can't be with whomever. As for Chris, maybe I'm reading into it wrong, but despite all of the like, romantic connotations they try to put into some of his games (which I don't. Really see? Like there was some in the first game with Jill but I just cannot see them together like that, neither seem interested in one another like that. And of course, Jessica, who I can't stand, and who Chris is supposedly totally oblivious to? Like she thinks he didn't notice her flirting in RE revelations, and Parker is like "is it that, or is he maybe interested in someone else?" And the assumption there is that he means Jill, but again, I don't see it? Even in that game! But that line of Parker's always makes me think "yeah, he's more than just interested in someone else, he's playing for a whole nother team entirely!" lmao. And I haven't seen much for 5 but I'm sure it's there between Chris and Sheva, and then for 6 from what I understand there really is hardly any talk of Chris in regards to any women at all? 8 has nothing, as well, and the DLC for 7 is just another "Chris loses his entire team in horrific fashion yet again" side plot, so nothing there either), he never seems interested. He's always focused on the task at hand, not letting emotions get in his way, and like, some could argue that that's why he doesn't show interest or why Capcom doesn't create more romantic lore around him, but if they really wanted to Make Sure he was straight and Make Sure everyone playing these games knew that, I imagine there would be some one line little hints in the games of him talking about how he can't let himself get distracted, or in his line of work there are no happy endings or what have you, but. There's none of that. Bc he isn't forcing himself not to be interested, he isn't purposefully focusing on saving the day so he doesn't have to get hurt knowing he can never have whichever high potential for a dope ass protag female character who's constantly sacrificing herself to save him bc what better purpose could they serve, right Capcom?, he's just. There, doing his job and trying to save whoever he can, not getting distracted in anyway whatsoever by any of the women in his life, romantically at least. He still cares way too much, but it never comes off as romantic to me in pretty much any way. Also the note he leaves in his STARS locker in RE2remake, Claire being like "this doesn't sound like Chris at all!" Is funny to me bc like, I don't really remember so correct me if I'm wrong, but she doesn't elaborate on WHY that note doesn't sound like Chris lmao is it bc he's respectful to women at all times and doesn't ever objectify them, probably hates when other people do? Or is it bc he would never be interested in women in this way ANYWAYS, the man is so gay, he must have left this note so that Claire would know something is Up, bc her brother is Such a homosexual.

first of all I'm happy you have someone to ramble to even though they aren't into the thing themselves! :D I regularly rant about RE fandom things to my brother haha and he listens patiently although he isn't in the fandom at all, he's only played the games and that's it. but he still listens to my shippy rambles lol.

as for your thoughts? makes sense to me tbh. I definitely headcanon Leon as a bisexual disaster most of the time, because it does seem fitting. maybe it's partly because I think he's absolutely breathtakingly stunning and it'd be a shame to deny anyone that, so, naturally he wouldn't care about such trivial things as gender, pfth, love is love.

also Leon falling in love easily? absolutely. too damn easily. c'mon this is a man who gets attached to anyone who shows him even the tiniest amount of basic kindness in the matter of minutes. he canonically forms attachments with Claire, Ada, Krauser, Helena, Buddy and JD (JD 😭)... whoever else am I forgetting? but this is the guy who meets someone and would die for them five seconds later. so. it tracks.

and you know what, I can 100% see Chris being only into men. because like. I don't see the romance there either when he's interacting with the women in his life? okay, sure, I could imagine something there between him and Jill if pressed seeing the way he so single-mindedly wants to save her and then holds her in the scene after they get that thing off her chest. maybe. but even there it doesn't really feel super romantic to me, personally.

in the first game with Jill there's not... a lot of romance I don't think? sure she falls asleep against his shoulder in the evac helicopter but i mean, i've fallen asleep against a friend like that? not an indication of romance? they're clearly important to each other! i am not trying to diminish their importance to one another at all! they'd die for each other and they'd do anything it takes to protect each other and i do think their relationship is compelling but... i don't really see anything inherently romantic in it.

and Jessica, yeah, Chris is 100% oblivious to her advances. it is implied in the game that he's into Jill instead but other than that there's again zero actual romantic interaction between Chris and Jill. I was actually talking about this with my brother, who said the same, like there were so many chances in Revelations to put something romantic in there between Chris and Jill but there just. isn't? anything? except for Parker's comment. which is why it felt so damn out of place? (and like my brother would've wanted to ship Chris and Jill, he was kinda bummed about this i feel :'D) so interpreting it to mean he's not interested in women at all would actually make more sense lmao.

as for RE5, I've played it twice (with my brother lmao do we see a theme here) and honestly I don't remember anything in the game that would've insinuated anything more than solid partnership between Chris and Sheva?? if someone who's more familiar with the game wants to correct me on this, then please! but at least off the bat I can not remember anything so I think they actually didn't try to even hint at romance for them?

and in RE6 Chris is way too focused on killing "Ada" to have any thoughts about anything else :'D so no. no mentions in there regarding him and any women. at all. not even hints of Jill which is so incredibly weird (and stupid tbh) bc she was made to be so important to him in RE5 and then doesn't even get a mention in RE6? (/shakes fist damn you capcom! the characters exist outside the games they're in!)

I think that's pretty much the main difference between Chris and Leon tbh. Chris sees the job at hand, and he knows it'll help, he knows it'll save people and it'll make the world safer and he's so single-mindedly focused on the job that he sees nothing else. while Leon sees people, for the better or for worse, and he is willing to take detours if it helps even one person in the meantime. like in RE6, Leon willingly ignores the task at hand to go help just about anyone. Chris doesn't want to pause even when pressed bc he has an end goal in mind.

and bear in mind, I am not trying to say this somehow makes Leon better or Chris better or anything. they're both doing this to help. they both have their heart in the right place. they both care. but they're just so different! their personalities, and their way of dealing with things is different! I feel Chris is really target oriented and wants to get the job done. while Leon's easily distracted from it, because of all the damn feelings :'D

but yeah. i love them both, and i think it's really damn fascinating how they're both the good guys, the heroes of the franchise, but they both take to things so differently.

✧ Nightly routines w/Hinawa, Vulcan, & Obi

A/N: This was a nice little switch up! I apologize that these are shorter than what I would normally put out, I haven’t been feeling the best these past few ^^

This man has a strict skincare regime that he doesn’t skip out on, okay well, he does whenever there was a particularly rough fight with a flame

He usually does his skincare silently so he can gather all of his thoughts together and run through how his day went

This usually ends up making him reminisce the past and I encourage that you give him silent support without much physical contact (touching him while he’s so out of space might trigger his fight or flight)

Once he’s calmed down from his memories, a nice long hug will do him some good

If this man is tired, expect a kiss and a small ‘I appreciate you so much (f/n), you have no idea how much my love runs deep for you’ then he’ll clock out lol

If he isn’t all that tired expect him to be cuddling up to you (whether it be as a big spoon or little spoon) more often than not he finds himself being the big spoon

He doesn’t snore loudly, but he tries to go to sleep with his mouth closed but as he falls into the embrace of your warmth and the calmness of sleep his breath gradually gets heavier

With this, his arms would tighten around you ever so slightly and he would nuzzle closer to you

If he’s the little spoon, he’ll unconsciously adjust himself as to where his ear is on your chest, just so he can listen to your heartbeat, anytime you’ve asked him about the habit he always stares blankly before answering with an “I don’t know what you’re talking about”

After a long day with Hinawa entails a lot of pampering on both sides

If you massage his back or arms while in the shower, he will melt and turn around to give you the same treatment

A long session of just embracing each other, no music or anything in the background, just the comfort of being in each other’s arms

He would help you fix your hair up, while you brush your teeth/do facial treatments

He’d insist that you guys eat before retreating to your bedroom so there won’t be any need for a midnight snack (translation: once you get into bed he’s not letting you go)

If you insisted he would keep a hidden spot full of snacks for you (the man is weak for your puppy-dog eyes)

Once in bed there would be quiet conversations and bouts of silence that would fill the atmosphere but most importantly, alone time together

You guys would talk about the future of your relationship, hobbies, his weird fashion sense, and anything else that wouldn’t have to do with the company (it’s a nice refresher)

During these conversations he would hold you close and hum in acknowledgement, he wouldn’t care much for talking unless you specifically asked for his opinion (he finds listening to your voice soothing)

He likes to get a full night’s rest so he can start his next day nice and early but this usually doesn’t happen due to needing to wrap up unfinished paperwork

“There are mountains of paperwork left to do that the other’s hadn’t finished that need tending to (f/n), I’ll be upstairs shortly” DON'T FALL FOR IT!

On nights like those, you usually drag him away from the paperwork and help him finish it the next day (not without cussing out the rest of the team for not completing their paperwork)

The type to have blues or smooth jazz in the background as you two commence your nightly routines

If he could, he would spend his entire 24 hours tinkering with inventions and blueprints to reach his goal but luckily he has you to drag him away from his inventions

His sleep schedule is literal ass, so you took it upon yourself to help him improve it

This includes helping him wrap up his latest blueprints, dragging him into the shower, massaging his neck and upper back (his posture is AWFUL from looming over the table all the time), dragging his sleepy ass to bed at 2am

However, he would get restless and not be able to properly clock out (not until 3-4am but thankfully this isn’t every night)

When you two are just laying down and facing each other, this is the time that he would be at his most vulnerable

He would complain about his day (even if you were there for most of it),he would reminisce about days spent with his dad, how Lisa’s betrayal had hurt him, literally anything that was on his mind

This is the time to reassure him and just hug him as he pours his heart out

“Do you think I’ll actually be able to bring all the animals back (s/o)?”

“I believe in you so yes I do think you’ll be able to bring them back. Maybe not now, and maybe not all, but the first couple is what matters most”

After each heartfelt conversation it would always end up in giggles and shared kisses 

You always make it a point to comment on all of your favorite features of his, which turns the man into a literal tomato 

He wouldn’t verbally express his gratitude but the way he would pull you in closer and stare lovingly into your eyes would tell you more words than he could say 

When he has a nightmare he would just snuggle into you more while keeping quiet

He doesn’t want to burden you with his own demons but he soon learns (from you lightly scolding him) that he can just wake you up 

“Nightmare?” “yeah…” and that would be all you needed to just hold him for the entire night

There isn’t a specific routine he follows other than brushing his teeth for the night and randomly writing down new ways to improve his inventions

However, he would definitely help you with your nightly hair care routine (he’s come up with a few things to help detangle your hair!)

He would have some soft rock in the background and if he knew the lyrics he would mouth them with the hairbrush

He has built a mini fridge in his room so whenever you guys want some midnight snacks “They’re right there! No need to sneak out and possibly piss off the lieutenant”

He has had to kick Shinra and Arthur out of his room because they tried stealing his mini fridge 

On particularly restless nights, the two of you would set up a speaker and act like you were performing at a concert (with the music at a low volume ofc)

These nights he finds himself falling in deeper in love with you

The next morning you guys are literal sloths from how late you stayed up

When you guys finally get into bed you’ll start off cuddling (with him as the big spoon) but in the morning you’ll notice that he has tangled all of your limbs together and he ended up being the little spoon 

It takes a lot to untangle yourself and by the time you finish, he’s already awake

Nights with him are all about unwinding from the day’s events, no matter how mundane the day was 

There’s a lot of reminiscing memories every night especially about how you guys met, how you’ve managed to adopt all of the younger company 8 recruits

He has cried before when he walked into the house and found you cooking dinner for him

Extra tears were spilled when you gave him a greeting kiss

There’s an unspoken rule that if the other has had a rough day that they would be pampered

And if you both had a rough day? Looks like you’re both getting pampered by each other

Nights sheds a layer of Obi’s walls and more often than not he finds himself feeling particularly vulnerable (especially around you) you will find him in his thoughts more than usual 

In bed there would be soft conversations about how much he loves you, the dreams you guys share together, the direction where company 8 is going

“Do you think we’re doing the right thing? It feels like more problems arise with each new thing we find..”

“I think that if it’s in your heart to genuinely help others then you’re doing the right thing”

Obi would have you laying on his chest, while one hand is behind his head and his other one is rubbing circles on your lower back  

It gives you the chance to hear his heartbeat and it gives him extra reassurance that you’re there to protect his heart

His nightly routine includes: Stretching out any tense muscles, face masks (courtesy of his sweet s/o who laughs at the faces he tries making in the mask), his hair, moisturize,  and anything that you need help with

If there is music playing then expect him to start slow dancing with you and randomly dipping you 

He doesn’t hold his balance too well so expect a few falls every now and then 

You guys usually bathe together, so he usually sneaks in a few kisses while you wash his hair

If you guys end up showering that night, he’ll give you massages and whisper about how much he appreciates your presence in his life

He would be extra gentle when helping you take care of your hair and wrapping it up for the night

If your scarf/bonnet slips off in the middle of the night he would fix it and then kiss your forehead

Another one who would start off cuddling but find yourself in a whole ‘nother position

Full name: Esther Lyn Stoley Birthday: June 18th Sexuality, gender, pronouns: Bicurious, cis female, she / her Age and grade: 17, senior Faceclaim: Ha Young / @dull_ouuo on instagram Appearance:  Head / face: Smooth, nearly flawless, pale skin is the product of Esther’s constant skin care routine and her jet black, shoulder length hair frames her heart shaped face. Her features are soft but defined with a jaw line that could cut diamonds. Her eyes are a deep brown, followed by a button nose, and plump lips that are, more often than not, lightly coated in lip tint. Her only “imperfections” are two small moles – one on her left cheek, and the other on the left side of her nose.

Body: Her body is rather thin, but still healthy. She stands at approximately 5’1 and weighs about 102 pounds. She hates the fact that she’s so short, and would definitely fight you if you start picking on her about her height. Aside from her height issues, she is happy with her body.

Style: The clothing that Esther chooses to wear can be described Asian Street Style. Her outfits are self-described as eclectic and eccentric – which essentially means each ensemble varies and can possibly be viewed as strange or extraordinary, especially for the South Park norm. Her face is often lightly painted with makeup – her eyes are usually lined with a dark brown or black and have either light or neutral colored eye shadow, and her lips vary from dark, matte lipsticks ( usually shades of red ) to soft, glossy tints. Personality:  Smart, conniving, hopeless romantic, and chic – that’s Esther. She maintains straight A’s in school with the occasional B plus, but anything below won’t satisfy her need for success, so she tries her hardest and can often be found locked in her room, listening to music and studying for her next quiz. Despite her smarts, she can often be a bit air-headed and forgetful at times – which stresses her out, especially when she knows that she had forgotten something and she just can’t remember what it was, no matter how hard she wracked her brain. She often dreams about finding love – but she usually doesn’t put herself out there as much as she should – so she usually doesn’t get into relationships ( although she does had the occasional secret fling ).

She can be found at parties quite regularly, but she is more of an introvert and would much rather be snuggled up in a big, fluffy, fresh-out-of-the-dryer blanket with a plethora of snacks at her disposal while she watches some random movies or reads some books. She does keep a lot of secrets from just about everyone – especially anyone outside of her family – she’d hate if she came upon some gossip of herself. She can be overly emotional at times – but she hardly ever shows that to anyone. On the days she feels like she’s gonna burst out into tears at any second, she stays home and locks herself in her bedroom, somehow convincing her teachers that she was bedridden and sick on those absent days. History:  Like her brother, Esther spent a good portion of her childhood immersed in a whole ‘nother world away from the mess of a town that they lived in – however, instead of comics and syfy – she indulged in love stories and cringy fantasy novels. As she got older, she started to stray away from her false world and came back into reality. She interacted more and more with the girls at her school – even becoming pretty popular and being brought into the “inner circle” of girls. Of course, a great deal of things changed over the switch from elementary to middle school – Esther even made changes to her personality. She became more secretive and hid the softer and kinder side of herself so she wouldn’t accidentally get involved with the wrong people and hurt herself and nobody would see her as weak or as easy prey. She kept her emotions to herself and acted colder to people around her. Puberty hit her like a freight train – she was covered in acne as a pre-teen and all of a sudden her skin was soft and clear with hardly any marks or blemishes in sight. Esther felt better now that she looked better ( in her opinion of course ). She started gaining a ton of positive self esteem and held herself in a way where she exuded a level of confidence. She honestly felt like a queen. As she made the transition into 12th grade, she – thankfully – kept that confidence and self esteem boost ( though she did still get emotional at times, because, who doesn’t? ), but she did start taking time away from being social to live another life through books once again. Sample paragraph:  Esther had just gotten off school and since she hadn’t had anything else to do for the day she decided to sit down and relax with a nice book. In order for her to really enjoy said book, she had to set a mood. She threw her backpack into a corner by the door and took off her shoes, running to start up a pot of coffee. The short girl quickly put on a pot of coffee and quickly and quietly, ran to her room – she shut the blinds and lit a few floral scented candles, making the room dark, but well lit enough for her to be able to read her book. She purposely messed her bed up, forming a nest of blankets in the center and ran back down to her kitchen to fix herself a cup of coffee. She poured the freshly brewed instant coffee into a teal mug, mixing in a small bit of sugar before carefully bringing it up to her bedroom and sitting it down on her nightstand. She went over to one of her several bookshelves and pulled out a book that she’d planned on reading for a while called ‘Siren’ by a woman named Janet Fox.

She went over to her blanket nest and made herself cozy, pulling one of the blankets over her shoulders. Before she started to read, she took a long sip of coffee, then she opened to the first page. For nearly two hours, she was fully immersed in her book – reading about gangsters in the 1920’s. However, as soon as her brother opened her door to see if she was home, her set mood was ruined. She accepted that she was no longer to envelope herself in as much comfort as she was in before and put her book away. She blew out the candles and allowed natural light to shine through her blinds once more as she sipped up the last bit of her coffee. Headcanons:  ✧ Sometimes, she ( not-so-secretly ) reads Kevin’s comics. ✧ She would 10/10 fight to protect her brother. ✧ If you get into a relationship with her, she can be a bit clingy, so beware. ✧ She secretly crushed on all of the Goths in middle school, with the exception of Firkle, because she thought they were all really cool. ✧ She changes her hair up every other month – it’s always one of these 3 colors – grey with slight blue tints, brown, or black.
