I wonder what the racers look like when they grew up? So after many attempts of concepts, ideas and color palletes. Here they are! I call it the Sugar Rush racing teens in their casual clothes.

(I might do a remake of this in the future though...)

Day 26 - Swap AU

The first thing that comes to my mind when I hear "Swap AU" is perhaps one of the most well know: gender swap. To me, it's both easy and fun, as it gives you the freedom to tweak a character's design and if needed their name to fit the opposite gender, effectively turning guys into girls and vice versa.

I remember sketching the racers gender swapped on paper, and drawing 3 of them in digital last year. But this year...I drew all 16 gender swapped racers!

My fanfic 'For Good' is coming along nicely. I thought it’d be fun to dream up my own line of toys based on my own little feature, just like for any classic Disney movies. I can see these being sold as collectible Happy Meal toys or PVC figures. Or maybe they are packaged in blind bags or as Japan-exclusive toys in Gashapon capsules. Are certain characters common or rare to find? Will you be lucky enough to capture the limited edition chase figure that is the metallic Golden Adorabeezle? Only 1000 manufactured! I took some inspiration from the rarity levels of Disney Doorables. Perhaps this is just Series 1 of more characters to come. Or maybe this whole set is a limited run and will disappear fast. Hurry! You must collect them all!

These toys may not be real, but the fanfic that they’re representing will be. Check out which characters are going to be playing some significant role in the story, and some of the antics they'll be getting up to.

Good afternoon everyone! Here are the recolored Sugar Rush racers with a new look to differentiate them from their counterparts like Minty, Jubileena, and Adorabeezle. Each one will have their own specific candy theme, such as: Sticky the Milkshake, Citrusella the Blueberry, Torvald the Flan, and Nougetsia the Ice Cream and Nougat.

Sticky Wipplesnit:

Instead of her bun on her head, she now only has a pink headband with a small whipped cream on one side, with two ends of her old bun on the sides.

Her hair is now curled inwards, almost like Liko's hairstyle, the protagonist of Pokémon Horizons.

Her light blue racing jacket would have a pink collar, the bottom part, and the stripes on the side of the sleeves. Her shirt inside is now white with an image of a milkshake (although it's not visible).

Her skirt is shaped like white whipped cream (although it looks more like a cloud).

She wears light blue socks with white stripes and black shoes with the same color soles mentioned above.

Citrusella Flugpucker:

Her hat is now shaped like a blueberry with an indigo visor.

Her twin pigtails are now down to differentiate themselves from Jubileena's hairstyle.

Her shirt underneath her jacket has a blueberry pattern instead of an indigo cherry.

Her skirt has been replaced with shorts mimicking the style of her old skirt and Jubileena's.

Torvald Batterbutter:

His yellow hair has curled outward, and half of it is now brown (mimicking flan) with a mini ponytail held in place by his yellow bow with a brown stripe.

His eyes are golden.

His racing jacket has a brown collar, while his undershirt is gold with brown stripes.

The rolled-up sleeves, along with his yellow skirt and knee pads, have a brown top half, resembling flan.

His shoes are brick red with a yellow flower in the center.

Nougetsia Brumblestain:

Her braided tail is no longer down but up, differentiating her from Adorabeezle's.

Instead of a hat, she now wears winter earmuffs with a yellow headband and pale pink ear pads.

Her shirt under her jacket is light pink with white polka dots.

Her fuchsia skirt, instead of white stars, only has a wavy white stripe.

Her socks and pants have a pale yellow ice cream cone design.

Nougetsai Brumblestain: The Silent Spark

"Nougetsai Brumblestain is a sweet yet ferocious competitor, known for his quiet strength and intense focus on the track. Personality:

Nougetsai, is a quiet, observant racer who communicates solely through gestures and sign language. Despite his silence, he is well understood by his fellow racers, especially his half-twin brother, Andribeezle, with whom he shares a unique bond. Nougetsai is calm and composed, radiating a cool confidence, but he’s not shy—instead, he chooses to keep his words to himself. He respects those who respect his muteness, but if someone doesn’t, he’ll simply ignore them. Friendly and laid-back in nature, Nougetsai has a sweet, approachable side, yet he can turn fierce and intensely competitive when he's on the racetrack, revealing a powerful spirit beneath his quiet exterior.
