I hope that xiv writers get weirder with their ideas like we need ideas that I can personally think about for years
#I'm going to be honest. I think the main scions need to take a backseat for a while#y'shtola will obviously be with us moving forward into 8.0 but in the future like... 8.0 itself and beyond we just need to not have them al#be with us for the most part.#yoshi-p did indeed say that this was an issue with dt so at least he's aware but still#not.. hm well mad per say about it I'm just kinda upset over the potential that was lost from keeping them all in the same spot for dt#moving forward I sincerely hope that they split up for real this time. not like forever obviously but for a good amount of time#because unfortunately with how they develop or have been developing these characters (the main scions) its a bit wonky tbh#I feel like in terms of shb/ew the character writing was much better than ever before. they can do better though#I know for a fact that permanent changes can be done with these characters and they shouldn't be afraid to stick to an idea that moves a#character along in terms of growth or just being on the screen to do something#idk idk. I just want more from the character writing side of things from now on#I still love xiv but I think the writing can be a bit stronger with that side of things for real#I just need way more of all of these characters since I love them ya know#lalala#said that*#*all
