i've noticed there's a slight problem on ao3 of people tagging undertale fanfics as deltarune when there's. literally no deltarune aspects. or only a couple here and there. i feel like that should probably be reserved for undertale fanfics that prominently feature deltarune characters/are a full-on crossover-

#puppy rambles #deltarune #undertale fanfics are great and all but when i look through the deltarune tag i want deltarune fanfics #not undertale fanfics that don't include any deltarune aspects or like #maybe mention a deltarune character's undertale counterpart offhandedly-#the only other instance i could think of where i'd get it would be if you're referring to chara as kris #which is probably a more accurate name tbh given what we know about them both they act very similar they're definitely equivalents #though appearance-wise kris is closer to frisk actually (skin color + red eyes which chara is never portrayed with)#in the soulless pacifist ending frisk having red eyes when possessed by chara is probably because. frisk has red eyes-#idk why they possess frisk and take the player's soul anyways- actually they're probably trying to make you fucking stop #“PLEASE stop killing everyone. i literally took your soul why are you still here-”#“determination” “DON'T USE MY LINES AGAINST ME-”
