ALSO something I notice is that when a fic refers to 'jiang wanyin' and its not in lwj/a stranger pov, the author either loves him and wants to emphasize how mature and respected and powerful he is (HA) or hates him and wants to emphasize how evil and dangerous and alienated from wwx he is. they're both wrong he is jiang cheng always and forever amen

#he is immature and feared not respected #and his power directly stems from wwx's gc and from his inherited title #that he would have lost if wwx hadn't busted his ass to save him #not that rebuilding the jiang clan was easy but it's less on his own merits than his fans like to believe #and also people do not like him :/#that being said he is not the sole force of harm towards wwx nor the original evil #a lot of his aggression towards wwx was genuinely out of miscommunication and misinformation #and he did change how he acted once he knew the truth #novel fics will do this a lot. he did suck more in the novel but even then hes not the only bad guy #cor.txt
