Also. Ive been keeping notes on the game as ive been playing (themes, motifs, imagery, literary allusions, stuff like that) and ive come to some......... worrying conclusions.

... I think I might know how the game ends and it scares me.

#ive been calling it the memento mori theme #bcos of the opening. and because it seems fitting for what i think the games message is #im getting increasingly worried with each new connection i find though.#stuff like.#the coffins #the evokers (suicide implications are obvious)#orpheus (the story of a man who tried to free his wife from the underworld but failed. showing the inevitability of death)#tartarus (greek underworld/afterlife)#the reaper (obvious. the grim reaper)#memento mori in the games opening (remember that you must die)#a lot of the other characters personas are taken from tragedies. myths that end in death #also im pretty sure that later in your main persona changes to thanatos. ie.
