Everyone knows how funny, charismatic and bratt Haechan is. He's popular for his jokes and pranks, he is the most cheerful of his group. But not with Y/N. When the girl is around, especially with him and his friends no matter how much he wants to talk to her or how hard he tries, he simply can't. He just blush and starts to stutter, soon giving up to do anything. Because of his huge massive crush he has on her and everyone knows that too, except her. Y/N heard the best stories from Mark about Haechan, so before she even met him she liked how entertaining he was. A true sun. But then, Mark decided to introduce the both of them and Y/N got confused with the shy and hesitant boy in front of her. He couldn't barely look her in the eyes. And the more time she spends with the group, the more shy he was. Movie nights he was silent, game nights he did everything he could to stay in the opposite group from her. Y/N started to think that Haechan never truly talked with her properly because he didn't like her that much like the rest of the group. So she respected his space and kept it that way, even if she secretly, not so secretly because Mark knew, had a crush on him. Which seemed to grow every time he smiled shyly and looked down with his pinky cheeks. But that didn't change anything for him, in fact his crush got bigger than before. And all of his friends were tired of that situation. To be honest, they tried to convince Haechan to confess what he really felt and he agreed that would be the right thing to do. But that didn't happen. So Jeno and Renjun got the perfect idea and shared it with the rest.  If Haechan couldn't say sober then they would try something else. And they did. The excuse was to celebrate and thinking that he would mess around with the others that would be drunk, he accepted without questioning, even though Jeno was the one who invited him. But Chenle got everything planned with the barman, who doubled the doses of Haechan that was drunk before he could even notice. And more annoying than usual, irritating the boys, especially Jeno who had to carry him back home. "Do you remember that time when I knocked you off the skateboard?" Haechan laughter could be heard in the entire street. "Your fall was so funny, Jeno." even talking to Jeno, Haechan insisted on continuing to look at Jisung who was carrying him on the other side, as if the younger one was his victim. "I'm gonna punch him." Jeno said, taking a deep breath. "That was your idea." Mark accused. "I never thought he would be more annoying than he is!" "Jaemin, did you called Y/N?" Renjun asked while snorted, seeing Haechan laugh louder and Jisung were struggling to keep him steady. "Yes, I said Mark was alone and was trying to cook, and that I was scared of him burning down our house." Jaemin smiled and Mark looked at him, offended. "Why did you-?" "She's coming anyway so we need to be fast." "Can we just throw him at the door?" Chenle asked, looking at his friends with hope, who reciprocated with disbelief. “No? Okay.” “I hope she doesn’t kill me after this.” Mark said, now he wasn't so sure the plan would work. But there was no turning back now.

Y/N literally ran to the boys' house after Jaemin's call and stopped at the door when she saw it open. She was already searching for her phone in her pocket to call Mark and ask if everything was fine when she heard a noise, afraid that Mark had actually set the house on fire, she went inside. At first everything was normal in the living room so she went to the kitchen and tipped her head to the side without realizing it when she saw someone hitting the head on the counter. Not someone, Haechan. In addition to hitting his head hard, causing the sound to echo through the room, he was also muttering some things that Y/N only understood after paying close attention. “Why does she have to be so beautiful?” knock “Why does she have that smile that drives me crazy?” knock “And crazy.” knock “And cra-” “Haechan!” she caught his attention, worried about him getting really hurt, and saw him raise his head slowly, his forehead was red but what she really laughed at was his cute expression. Haechan stared at her for a while as if to make sure he was seeing her right there in front of him. “Y/N!” he recognized her and smiled broadly, and did something she didn't expect. He moved away from the counter and ran to her awkwardly and hugged her tight. It was only then that she realized he was drunk. After all, he wouldn't hug her if he was sober. And because he smelled of cheap wine. “Who are you talking to?” she asked, confused and he moved away from her and looked around as if looking for the person. “Jeno and Chenle.” he slurred and bent down to look under the counter. “They’re not here.” No shit, Sherlock. She thought. Haechan stumbled backwards and Y/N quickly grabbed him by the arm, trying to help him stay on his feet. “Why did you drink so much?” she asked and instead of what the Haechan she knew would do, he put his arm around her shoulder, getting closer than usual. He was dangerously close. “To celebrate!” he spoke happily and raised his arms, making Y/N struggle not to fall with him. “Even though I don't remember why we're celebrating.” he frowned and Y/N tried not to laugh at the grimace but it was impossible, he was too cute. If it was a normal day, like any other, she would probably be jumping for joy at being so close to him, if she didn't know that he's going to forget everything the next morning. “Okay. Come on, I think you better sit down before we both hit the floor.” Amazingly, Haechan complied and the two went to the living room, where Y/N managed to get him on the couch with great difficulty as he couldn't walk in a straight line. “Y/N.” he said as he sat slouched with his shoulders down and she remained standing. “Yes?” she thought he was going to ask for a bag so he could throw up. “I like your name.” he spoke, keeping the smile on his face and Y/N stared at him in shock. “I like to say your name.” Y/N felt her whole face burn and smiled uncontrollably. “You know I talk a lot but your name it’s what I say most.” “Yeah, sure.” she rolled her eyes and tried to feign indifference, even though her heart was about to leap out of her chest. “I'm serious. I promise it's true.” Haechan brought his hand to his chest in a way too serious for a drunk and Y/N laughed. “You can ask the guys, I don't shut up when it comes to you. These days Renjun threw one of his brushes and said that I needed to confess to you soon because I kept talking about how you’re too good to be true.” Y/N felt her jaw drop and her eyes widened of their own accord. Confess? He said confess? “You know you’re too drunk, right?” she sat down next to him and saw that he looked at her expectantly, there was even a glint in his eyes that she never noticed because she never had the chance to look at him that intensely. “You probably are going to forget everything tomorrow.” “You know what they say, when alcohol comes in, the truth comes out.” he complained and made a little pout that she had to control not to kiss. “What are you talking about? Haechan, you don’t even look me in the eyes!” She was confused, but she couldn't ignore how her heart was reacting to hear that. It was everything she'd wanted since she'd met him. “Because I’m a fool that's completely in love with you.” He spoke loudly and that made her go quiet. That's something she didn't expect. “I'm such an idiot that can’t even talk with you because I would fall even more for you. I get so shy around you that I can barely be the annoying, playful guy I used to be. I've been in love before but it's never been this way as if... as if... you possessed my mind. In a good way. If there's any good to be possessed.” For a moment, Haechan looked sober enough to say that, because Y/N felt the truth in his words. That's why she couldn't say anything, she just held her gaze and Haechan was panting like he'd just come out of a race. They held their gaze and she felt her palms sweat and her legs tremble as she saw him bring his face closer to hers. As if he couldn't get any cuter that night, Haechan pouted when he was closer to her lips and Y/N closed her eyes hoping to feel the touch. However, it didn't. Instead, she felt something heavy in her lap and she opened her eyes, no longer finding Haechan's face inches from hers, but in her lap. Snoring loudly. He had fallen asleep. Y/N took a deep breath and looked at him sleeping heavily, disappointed but at the same time happy because maybe Haechan didn't hate her like she had imagined.

“Jisung, go!” Renjun tried to push the youngest into the house. “Don't push me.” he complained. “I'm not seeing anything, get out of the way!” Chenle complained too and the six entered the house in silence. Each pair of eyes looked in a different place in the house and Jaemin was the first to find it, silencing and pointing to the living room couch. Jeno wanted to laugh and covered his mouth to muffle the sound as Mark smiled in disbelief. Haechan and Y/N were sleeping together on the couch, hugging in a way that would probably hurt the next morning but no one could push them away now, Haechan was holding tightly to Y/N's waist who had her face buried in his chest. Haechan had a gigantic smile on his face even as he slept and Jisung and Chenle joined Jeno, laughing at the situation. They were sure that the plan had really worked because of their friend's face. Renjun was the first to approach, his phone in hand. "What will you do?" Mark asked in a whisper. "Do you think I'm going to let this opportunity pass by?" he spoke as he took several pictures of the couple. Renjun even managed to get a photo of Haechan pouting, drawing loud laughter from Chenle. "Okay kids, let's let the lovebirds sleep in peace." Jaemin spoke and started pushing his friends to go to their room. "We should start thinking about creating the cupid mission. We're good at it." he told Mark who shook his head, smiling. “We're good because Haechan was a fool.” Jeno replied. “You guys know he's going to get revenge on us, right?” Oh he would.

I've been wanting to send you this message since before but i'm too shy and afraid i couldnt find words to write to descript my feeling but i'll just do it now haha

I did read one of your answers about the possibility of the ending, if the fl gonna ended up with hyuck again or jeno. tbh i feel the same way as you. Hyuck's character here is so damn toxic i wish i could punch him real hard so he realised his mistakes but then again it'll be satisying to see him get torture slowly like that.

on the other side, aka my bias for him, i want them to be together again. which showed that his toxic is winning if they ended up together again. because i couldnt see them with other people aside from each other. i guess its affected by the 5 years relationship too. But he is so toxic 😭 he is so bad to her, he is the worst! Not loving her the same way as she is already worse enough BUT IN THE SECOND PART WE GET TO KNOW THAT HE ALSO TALK BAD ABOUT HER. THAT IS SO-- coward of a man to do that. I'm so disappointed but I dont get why i want them to be back together. I mean after all renjun and jeno has done, and her braveness to finally having the positive thoughts, to see her trueself, loving and forgiving herself, why would i want her to be back again with hyuck eventho he change for a better self?

It is so complicated i want to slap myself. Because i know on the other hand, hyuck is struggling too. I dont know how to word it out but he look like he haven't found himself, (this is just like me), it's like when people said he can be like this, he will try to be like that without thinking if that is good for him. it's like he is a shadow of people's word instead of being himself so maybe thats why i still have a tiny sympathy for him. but to say it's a sympathy is not right too cuz i'm placing myself as the fl and tough to say, i still love him. i want him to realise his mistakes and changed but getting fl right away will be so abrupt. Maybe both of them should recover from the hurt and after many months and meet again and maybe they finally fall in love again, that would be okay.

Okay, now lets talk about renjun and jeno. im so so glad renjun is still talking to her even tho he is actually hyuck friend to begin with, word cant explain how much i appreciate his effort and the same goes to jeno. but as much as he is soooooo nice, i couldnt see him with the fl 😭😭 like yes he is nice and thank you for telling the fl that she deserve so much more than what she was thinking of herself before, regaining her confident back. he is a good friend and thats a shame because he is like a 2nd lead character, so damn nice, willing to do anything for the fl but at the end he could never get the chance to be with her. that is how i see his character, it could be different from you or the others.

But well this is your story, youre the writer so it's all up to you. And its just my opinion with a little bias to hyuck since he is my bias blfjdldjfk so of course i still want him at then end of the day though i really want him to physically and emotionally broken, get his heart bleeding more than the fl after realising his mistake until he gain a forgiveness from her again.

I'll answer to this but I'm also referring to what you said before about hyuck and the oc being together for five years and so on. I totally get why most readers feel like this. Jeno and oc 'relationship' wasn't developed and it's against Haechan and the oc that have been together for five years and even if they were flashbacks you know how deeply they loved each other and what tied them so together so, as toxic as it got, I think it's normal to wish for them to make it up.
