more than anything I want a fic that displays morally grey marco that is highly aware that ax is kinda a fascist piece of shit but he doesn't really care because ax is his before he's anything else and he's willing to do whatever to keep him even if he has to kick the ass of every andalite he just risked his life to save

#shut up az #not putting this in the tag bc I don't think my interpretation of axmarco is super popular but uhhhh #anyway I have an outline of a fic kinda like this #called the deserters #but idk if it really does justice about the deprogramming ax would have to go through to choose a happy ending #it's more about Marco realizing he would go just as far for Ax as he would for his mother #because I love Marco doing fucked up shit and knowing it's fucked up but not regretting it #chiefly the thing he does is time travel to save Ax but actively chooses not to save Rachel because saving Rachel might put him or Ax #in danger that Marco doesn't have context for #essentially he let's her stay dead so he has less variables to consider #Tobias morphs human to punch Marco in the face about it
