I don't think I'm gonna have a working machine for like... oh my god I don't know I can't see where in the future I can afford it. I have a non negotiable overseas trip coming up so £££ then I want to make use of my updated passport & visa & try going to the west coast too while I have the freedom and see friends

I can't see any available "BIG purchase" money coming up like... this year...... :-(

I'm like. Really frozen here it sucks. It could be worse but Christ okay my laptop didn't even fucking break you know what happened?

I went to replace the long nonworking battery (now puffy lol) and there's one screw attaching it to the motherboard that WILL. NOT. REMOVE. I've had multiple techy people try. I've done all the (safe to do) tricks. Asides from ripping the actual battery apart or shattering the motherboard there is nothing I can do. I'm still in disbelief! It technically works! But there's ONE. SCREW. NO ONE CAN SAFELY REMOVE WITHOUT EXPLODING THE BATTERY AAAAAAAAA

I already spent £50 buying the new battery I cannot even fucking use! I bought new ram! I'm so defeated. It's already been months and months but it sucks so fucking bad people apparently edit on their phones? What? Adobe would freeze a second every time I did a process on my 2018 but still pretty good laptop. I am not making videos on my phone I don't know how people do it. I'm not paying for clip studio mobile either. I mean I used my computer for other stuff but I'm like creatively hurting.

And I just love that laptop! It's a gamer laptop but such a nice modest design, I love the keyboard, I love the location of the ports, and I'm attached to it, it's powered through everything for so many years and the only reason its had to stop is because I discovered the battery was unsafe and I cannot remove it. I'm not gonna put it all back together, fat battery in place, and try to ignore it...

I don't knowww... I've looked at plenty of second hand machines but it's obviously still gonna be like £500 for a machine with an okay graphics card. We have a really good second hand electronics store here called CEX and I've used them for like all (?) my electronics but I'm still outta luck here.

An alternative would be trying to fumble together a bare bones but good for medium/heavy lifting desktop and see how cheap I can get it. Main issue is a desktop doesn't suit me cause I move around so much, but at this point, I've been without a machine so long like, at least having one in one place would be better than what I have right now.

Finished mourning my situation. I wish I had moneyyyy :'''''^) I get so jealous when acquaintances mention stuff that makes me double take. I never used to be like this but god I'm going through such bad financial envy.

But people will say the same of me when I have to fly to the states in 2 months, like it looks like I have financial freedom. And in choosing to try to return later in the year because return flights can be as low as £450 to California, and I think seeing my friends and making memories is more important than my laptop or iPod... Especially while i have the freedom to do so because that's not always gonna be something I can do!

And in going to Dublin for a weekend soon and now it feels so like. Actually you shouldn't go anywhere. Save money always just don't do anything, just don't live, just let these few years pass you by with no novel experiences like DAMN. I HAVE TO LIVE! BUT IT'S SO HARD.

My financial situation is strange compared to other peoples but so is my life and gghuyhg I always feel judged and misunderstood

Snywayyyy ... Wow is me etc. I have almost no issue buying a £4 coffee when I'm out for a day with a friend and I refuse to budge on that but it's £80+ to renew your passport and that made me so upset I couldn't eat

! - when you make stuff for him, hes smiley on the outside, but crying on the inside. like his baby made THIS. for HIM?? he likes to gatekeep lowk…so he wont tell EVERYONE or be pushy about showing it off but itll be discreet. like to the point someone will have to ask, then he will talk about it. (he just likes the thought of keeping the things you made for him to himself >:)

! - after a while of observing he starts the talking. he helicopter you, start looking the project in all different directions while asking when its gonna be done, whyd you do this technique, why are you so perfect? but its all in love and after like 5 minutes he lets you have your peace and watches you

! - if you guys didnt know ricky actually draws too and studied visual arts, so he’ll adore having a crafty s/o. he’ll first watch you do your hobby loving how at calm and zoned out you look. after a bit he creates lazy date nights where you both create your crafts and give them to each other. you’ll normally get a drawing or you or you and ricky from him and you give him your craft

! - please he’ll use the things you make him to the brim. a keychain? hanging it on all his bags. a painting or drawing? hes hanging it up on his bed side wall so when he sleeps he sees it. you make him a outfit peice (or outfit) will wear it every where he goes. cause everyone needs to see your outfit, and your outfit needs to see the world

! - when you make him stuff hes not crying (#2), not shutting up (#2), and screaming. hes so honored. he has so many photos in his camera roll and he’ll show them off as much as he can. but will be a little salty when you make more stuff for eumppappa then him but i guess its fine😒

! - how can someone just craft something like that with their mind and hands? he loves watching the process from start to finish. this is his version of asmr, the way your face focuses when you get the the certain part, how you plan it out so precisely.

! - please please please. if you do sewing make this man a plushie, he will sleep with it every night and take it everywhere. even if he doesnt make his bed he makes sure his stuffy is sitting just right and comfortable. if not make this man something bunny related. he’ll giggle each time he sees it.

! - if you make him anything he can hang up, hes putting it by his desk and thats his motivation for studying or anything. if hes feeling down, he’ll lean in his chair and see the silly bunny staring at him and get right back to work :)
