Dawn is extremely lucky that she's had, and still has, so many fantastic mentors in her life. Without the help she's had, she would not be where she is today - she would not have held Sinnoh's Champion seat for so long. She was given direction when she needed it most throughout the entirety of her early adolescence up until her later teenage years.

When people look to her for advice, whether they're young or old, Dawn genuinely tries her best and gives her honest thoughts. Lord knows she had her share of dozens of questions and was asking for advice constantly, and everything she learned has been incredibly valuable. She's never sought out to be someone's bonafide mentor herself (maybe eventually, she'll take someone under her wing), but she genuinely wants to see people succeed in their own endeavors. Dawn will do what she can to help anyone looking for direction, even if she's merely a stepping stone in the grand scheme of things.
