#wtFOCK#Skam#Zoë Loockx#Veerle Dejaeger#Skam Daily#SkamverseDaily#I've made this in one afternoon that's why it looks so...#not good enough for Zoë's 20th birthday#I had so many quotes I wanted to use and scenes I needed to blend together and some didn't look the way I expected and ugh#however... here we have Zoë quotes x what people thought of her x what she thought of herself#when I see the despicable girls mocking her wanting to be 'perfect' x what she was always doing I actually laugh#it's ironic and I love it#mock awayyyyyyy#I'm gonna do like the poet when he had to define love: I'm not going to even try#Zoë is so important to me no writer making her do or say the most ooc thing would ever erase the amount of love I have for her#I love how pure she is#like... her intentions#she's not trying to look cool or do 'the right' thing because she's supposed to do it#she just genuinely cares about people and tries her best to not betray herself#she follows her fucking heart and she pays for it a lot of times but DAMN SHE TRIES#she's so fierce and so passionate and so unaware of how wonderful she is#I miss her like I'd miss a best friend I can't talk to anymore but I do talk to her you know#that's why I keep on writing fics because I hear them so clearly#they just have a lot to say#she's happy#she's not being written by a mad man anymore so things are going well now#and I really need to stop writing here and go to sleep#Zoë Loockx you're no accident#you're inspiring and loving and so so loved by yours truly#happy 20 to the babiest sweetest bestest blorbo I'll ever have

Juniper Puckerman liked to think of herself as just another pretty face, she was rather ditzy and didn’t really take life too seriously. Growing up in a house with an absent father and a busy bother had it’s perks, but then again she never really got the attention she wanted. She always had a feeling she was different growing up, special even. At the age of four, Juniper was diagnosed with Ménière’s disease. The news at the time didn’t have much of an impact on her life, but around the age of eight is when her and her family found out that she had went completely deaf. She tried not to let the news affect her too much, but it was starting to take a toll on her behavior.
Being the middle child, she never expected to get much attention but with the recent changes she thought that would change, and as much as she wanted things to change they just didn’t. Although she never really liked it, her mother made sure she was fluent in Sign Language and helped her expand her verbal vocabulary as well beyond the elementary things she knew. Juniper would have prepared to get her hearing back, but the hearing aids were out of the budget. She wasn’t really satisfied with just knowing sign language, so she learned how to read lips in an effort to communicate with those who didn’t know how to sign.
Juniper wasn’t really one to follow directions, so she was use to the constant disapproval she got from her mom for acting out. She would only misbehave every now and then, but when she got to high school is when things took a turn for the worst. She fell into the wrong crowd and, managed to get into things that was unacceptable in the eyes of her mom and the eyes of society. Juniper wasn’t much of an open book, so when she had a problem she would use her hands to solve them rather than her words. This horrible method of problem solving often landed her behind bars, and her mother was always out trying to make amends so no one would press charges.
As Juniper continued to live rebelliously, she eventually discovered drugs on the path she was taking and it seemed to be a godsend. It didn’t stop her from acting out but it did help with her anger issues. When she was high, she was usually on top of the world and nothing really mattered to her. Everyone in her life was more than happy about the change, though she knew that wouldn’t be the case if they knew why so she kept it to herself. Starting to do drugs at such a young age caused Juniper to develop some confidence as she got older. It showed as she started to become more interested sex and what it entailed. After a sexual incident with one of the teachers at her middle school, resulting in her losing her virginity to the older man at only the age of thirteen. She continued the relationship with him until they were caught together in his classroom. Of course instead of owning up to it like she should’ve, she played the victim card and said he forced himself on her. But soon these little “incidents” started happening over again, causing her to end up at an alternative school until she successfully graduated. Though she knew the teachers weren’t the problem, blaming them was a lot easier than telling the truth; she had a drug problem and it usually caused her to do reckless things.
The idea of going to college had always been one she had in mind, mainly because of the party scene, and the idea of expanding her knowledge was an idea she loved to entertain. Before she decided to apply and commit herself to school, Juniper felt like she needed a job so she could get her own place. If she stayed at home or moved into the dorms, she was sure she’d have to follow some sort of rules and she didn’t want that. Looking for a job did not turn out to be eventful as she expected. The pay at retail stores and fast food joints weren’t nearly enough for her to afford her own place, so Juniper decided to look elsewhere and ended up taking a job at a strip club. The job was only suppose to be temporary which was her reason for choosing to be a hostess, but as she got more comfortable in the environment she had a feeling this is where she was meant to be. After only a couple of months, she went from a hostess to a waitress and eventually a stripper.
After being successful in her line of work, she finally had enough money to get her own place. With more than enough money coming in, Juniper began to think about getting the hearing aids she always wanted. She could afford it now and she was sure it would make her life better. She wouldn’t have to worry about sitting in front of the class or asking anyone to take notes for her. The pros seemed to outweigh the cons in this situation. Giving in, she went through with the the purchase and almost regretted it immediately. She had forgotten how much she disliked sound, but as much as it costed her to get them she was still going to put them to use, only having them on when she had class, practice, or some sort of meeting. Now that she could hear, it’ll definitely help her drug transactions go a lot better.
