This has been on my mind the very second I saw it and I have finally finished the art I hope shows a fraction of my appreciation

Started drawing this when you first sent it so I thought it'd be cute to draw Liu taking care of your baker. Hope you're feeling better now! No joke I cannot put into words how much I love your art. Liu smiling makes me feel like a criminal for every angsty thing I've written with them. Your baker oc is absolutely adorable too and I love them together. Liu would be the type to crouch/place their head on someone's shoulder to close the height gap - or just straight pick them up. Thank you so much and again I hope you're feeling better now! ❤️

Oh gosh im sorry if this is super long but KEVUAKSNSS i have a lot to say

First off, i was like damn this is a lot of words 😳 like dawn bby U REALLY POURED A LOT INTO THIS HUH AND IT WAS ALL PERFECT JDHS i was like "oh god could i even finish this?" to "wtf im done? 😱" 😭😭😭 i was staring at the "the end" words for a long minutes because *sobs* it's over 😭

I love how mikey slowly warmed up to the read ueue and i love the reader as well. as an avid fan of harvest moon and other farming games i wished they'd make one but with this ueueue like holy fuck this was sooooo good i feel like i was legitimately reading a novel! and im even pissed at myself bc when this came out i wasnt able to read it bc of a fucking typhoon fucking up my place and ruining the Christmas spirit 😔

I was laughing and smiling crazily the entire time when bonten arrived, and how extra they were. also the grandmas Ldgissjsn i feel like i'd be like those grandmas if i ever saw these handsome men ueue they were all such a mood 🤣

AND THE ADORABLE FRIENDSHIP OF SANZU AND JIJI OMGIE I NEVER FELT MORE JEALOUS OF A GOAT 😭 EVEN MOMO THE CHICKEN IS CUTE

I also love how takeomi snores so loudly HEHSJS AND THAT SCENE WHERE HARUCHIYO SAID HE LOOKED LIKE A SEX OFFENDER I WAS HOWLING

manjiro just being so soft and ughhh the sex scenes 🥴🙈 those got me giggling like how i was also sobbing when the angsty parts came up 🤧 i love how manjiro is written here and how he transitioned from his rough and cold exterior to someone who could love us *grabs tissues* it's just all too heart warming ueue

AND THEN THAT SCENE WHERE THEY WERE ALL SHIRTLESS. YAAAAS SHSJ I WAS PLAYING LUXURIOUS TO GET EVEN MORE IMMERSED NSJS 🤣🤣🤣

Then the scene came where they have to leave *sobs* i know that feeling all too well. like while i was reading it, a rendition of it played on my head like a telenovela where some sad background music played while the camera pans on the reader crying and mikey staring at the farm disappearing from view WAAAAAH I WAS SOBBING

AND OF COURSE THE BUILT UP OF MEETING AGAIN AFTER A YEAR *SCREAMS* i love how it ended so much i was grinning like a maniac when the engagement happened and then the sudden appearance of bonten—mikey close to shooting their heads KSGSISJS I LOVE EVERYTHING IN THIS FIC UGHHHHH DAWN BBY *SMOOCHES UR HEAD* U ARE A GODLY BEING

A false lead. That was what found the stoic, powerful and indomitable Sano Manjiro in the middle of a 30 men free-for-all; blows, punches and kicks delivered swiftly but not swift enough that their faces blended in a mash of jeers and leers. His limbs weighed tiredly by his side, and despite how much he tried to reign in his exhaustion, the Bonten leader was fatigued from the stream of violence that just would not stop.

They had cornered him at his weakest, and he could tell how the fight would turn out—most likely with a mortal wound on his end and these bastards going scot-free, bragging about how the mythical unstoppable Bonten leader had folded to a bunch of small town hillbillies.

“He puts up one hell of a fight, huh,” one of the country hicks chortled, swiping some blood from his broken nose where Mikey had managed to land a debilitating blow. “Let’s sweep him up, boys.”

Attacking him all at once, Mikey felt for the first time in his life a powerlessness that pervaded every pore in his body; not even being surrounded by a hundred men with only Draken at his side during his delinquent days could match to the bleakness he was currently experiencing.

The last thing he felt before white-hot pain lanced through his head was a glob of spittle hacked onto his face, dripping down his swollen eyes that slipped shut on their own as the world around him started to fade into black.
